Shinji thought about it. "We could use this card to sneak into Shinra's headquarters and raid some of their weapons... This card could be put to great use."

Shinji slipped the card into his pocket. He wanted to go tell his superiors about his discovery, but he knew that he couldn't leave Deneria in the room alone. "I'll tell the others about this later." He sat back down.

Just then one of the other resistance members burst in. "It's Shinra! They're doing a raid!" That was very bad news. Shinji readied his pistol and his materia. He turned to Deneria. "Stick with me. Things might get hairy from here."

I followed him I saw the ammount OMG that was nothing! 20 people and their panicing!. They were just about finsihed when one of my own crew turned. " Ah Deneria thanks for being the decoy but were finished with you."He lowered the barrel towards my head.
"Decoy?" Shinji asked. Then the guy was shot. Shinji and five others pulled me to the room again.
"Decoy?"
"She's not a refugee she's a traitor!"
"Shinra spy!" Then they tied me to a chair. One had the gun right next to my ear.
"I say we kill her." I cried.
"I've got a better idea we use her then kill her since she's from shinra she'd know better then anyone about the facuilty." Great I'm one tool then another. Then their leader came in.
"Shinji you watch her it's your fault don't give her anything if she blinks i want to know about." he nodded and saluted.

Shinji watched her. Unlike the others, he was thinking about what they said about Deneria being a decoy. (If she was a decoy, that could mean that she was betrayed.) He decided to question her about it. "Ok, I heard them call you a decoy. Does that mean they betrayed you?"

It was sad really... All she wanted was to get ahead, and now she was facing death. She might have been better off as a test subject, like she had said she was. But Shinji thought about it. Seeing as how she worked at Shinra, she could easily access the files on their computers as well as get them the building layout. (She'd be of more use to us alive...) But how could he get his comrades to believe that? They probably thought of her as nothing more than a dirty Shinra spy.

Then my whole life crashed i broke down there wasn't much left to do.

This came to him as a shock. It wouldn't be hard to kill someone if they were going to kill him otherwise, but this was a different story. She was defenseless, unarmed, and had no will to fight. "I... can't do that." Shinji said. He looked away so she couldn't see his face.

As much as she asked, this wasn't something Shinji was ready to do. He thought that maybe he could talk her into joining the resistance. Of course, he'd have to talk her out of wanting to die first.
