I can't buy Gaia Cash in the first place, and that means I have to miss out on awesome items. It's not fair. crying Same here. Sure. I have the money. But I don't have the means to buy them. Because why? My parents don't know about my existence on Gaia in the first place. I still rely on them for transport... and my friends are too busy with jobs. So if I did go to target to get cash cards, it'd just start a whole thing of trouble... I'd have to be sneaky about it...
Exactly, except I have country issues.
In the UK, there are no 'Targets', mobile cash buying doesn't work, I can't mail money overseas, I have no credit card, I can't use my parent's credit card etc
So just because I don't live in the USA, I'm being cut-out of GaiaCash and MCs to a degree. =[
They could at least bring mobile cash buying to the UK. crying

Just because you can't get Gaia Cash doesn't mean Gaia is a "capitalist, money-hungry, neopet-esq" website. And in any case, you're misusing the word capitalist. Obviously Gaia is capitalist because it was created in America. All businesses in America are capitalist. All that means is that they are 100% privately owned by citizens rather than being controlled by the government. And for the last time, capitalism doesn't equal greed and it is not bad! stressed
(PS: I had a huge long post written out last night which expalined why i think capitalism is to thank for few (yes, few) countries in the world that aren't practically dirt poor, but it disappeared when Gaia logged me out for inactivity. So... oh well. I don't care enough to re-type it.)
And yes, Quinn. We can be friends forever. heart

But yeah, I don't like how Gaia is becoming more and more 'you-pay-you-get', how can you have a fair community if you are able to buy your way into places with an exterior power?

Well, how am I supposed to know about some in-joke I wasn't a part of? stare And in any case, I'm sure they aren't going to be using the money to throw wild Playboy parties at the office. It's all going to pay the people who work hard to give us this trivial pixel/forum junk we don't need. xp

They also ban users with a lot of rare items. to up the price in the market.
Like they did to Navlys.
It pissed me off today I found out my mule [Claymore] with all my gold was banned. and to think I was going to by one of those Gaia cash cards. Not anymore after they did that to me.

And, if there's something I've realized, is that most of the MMORPG have items that you can only buy with RL cash. I know Gaia isn't a MMORPG, but I bet there will be a lot of exclusive items around once Gaia Battle starts. The only thing different is that the system to buy real cash has already been made :3 Uh... do I make sense? >_< I have a massive headache. Damn studies!

My guess is they want to have people pay up so they would have big paychecks in their hands. So in order more money, make new items, make a new store, and they will be happy. Its sad that people that do not have jobs cannot get these items, especially the monthly collectibles. What next, pay for the site to use? I think NOT!
