The boys were more relaxed now and Kaden sat back and let Keagan answer Susan's questions, telling her of their afterschool practices and Friday night games. As far as the eating question, the boys grinned and answered "Everything." Their hobbies mainly focused on football and they liked to watch college and pro games on TV. Occasionally, they'd hang out with their teammates at the mall or somewhere else. They liked video games as well.
Though a bit wary about Susan's insistance on hanging out, the boys admitted that water skiing sounded like fun. They took her number and the cop's number as well, then shook their heads. Well, unless Susan was carrying around a million dollars so their mother wouldn't have to work as hard... but they didn't say anything.

The twins were walking down the street near their meeting place. Kaden kept double checking the address and looking up at their surroundings before finally pointing it out. Cautiously, the boys entered, glancing around. Both had talked about what they thought Susan was going to teach them at this session. Both had agreed that she'd have them demonstrate what they could do, but after that, they were lost on what she might have them do...
They'd brought along gym bags with a change of clothes and swim trunks, just in case they actually did get to go skiing.

Susan waved at the boys as they came to the building they would be training in, "Good morning! How ar you doing?" She chit chatted with them as she led them to the actual place they'd train, and stopped when they got there to ask more details about their abilities and what they could do.
"It sounds neat. Can you show me?" Yup, they were right. Of COURSE she wanted to see first thing after asking for their input.

The twins nodded and set their bags down. They'd practiced leading up to this to be able to show off better before their trainer. Both boys took a deep breath and stood next to each other, each placing the arm nearest the other over the other boy's shoulders. Then they slowly stepped into one another and their bodies began to meld together like two pieces of playdough being squished together.
In only a few moments, a taller, tanner boy stood before Susan. Where each twin had light brown hair that was cropped short, their merged form had long, flowing blond hair. Their eyes stayed green and their face held some characteristics of the boys', but looked... different somehow. It was hard to put a finger on just what.
The merged twins flashed a smile at Susan, trying to keep it going for a while longer.

Susan's eyes lit up as the boys merged. She'd pulled time watch out and had clicked it when they were completely one, "Very nice!" She complimented, "But are you capable of movement? Come forward," She coaxed, taking several steps backwards. If they succeeded in that, she'd ask for increasingly more complex skills. She'd knock the timer the moment they unmerged.
And when they would, she'd begin asking them questions about how it felt physically, mentally. Had they ever held it longer? Was it ever easier, more difficult? When, why? She explained her powers, how hers were actually very painful, but she found it very easy to forget that part when she or someone she cared about was in danger. She mentioned some of the things she did to concentrate on the physical changes, and some of the mental aspects, though she knew that there were definite differences.
And she'd paid close attention to the things they'd told her she'd like. She set up a challenge for them. A football, a long stretch, and a goal. She explained some of the records of previous pro football players, figuring they'd already knew some of it, but having to read it off herself, and she challenged them. Were they faster? Stronger? Could they concentrate on a goal long enough to meet it? She cheered them on, not so excited about the football aspect, but very much for their abilities. She continuously pushed them, but did it in a way to make them WANT to try. Heck, SHE could run faster than they could solo. They were such WIMPS.... and check THIS throw.... Susan was obviously no sort of football fan, and the boys had laughed at her technique...And turned around to teach her the right way to throw....but she HAD chucked the ball far. So, were they going to let some girl out show them? Sure, she'd cheated to get that ball to go so far, but she hadn't with running. Would they LET her show her up?
Perhaps this time around they would have to let her, but Susan encouraged and praised and laughed, her excitement was infectious, and on top of that her goal was to make this interesting and worthwhile for them. She only hoped she was meeting it.

The merged twins had nodded at Susan's question. Of course they could move! Unfortuantely, each twin tried to move a different foot, which resulted in their merged form losing balance and falling, splitting into the two boys again. They sat and glanced at each other before laughing.
"The hard part is that we have to move together..." Keagan told Susan as the boys stood. "It doesn't hurt... but it feels weird. Especially when we merge, it's just odd. For a few moments we're still seperate bodies, each with our own heartbeat and breathing and then suddenly all that becomes one."
"It's tiring," Kaden added. "And it often works best when one of us just takes control. Otherwise, we split up again."
Under Susan's direction, the twins merged again and started on the challenges she'd set up for them. They'd decided to take turns controlling the merge and seeing how each of them could handle the merged body. With one in charge and the other focusing on keeping the merge together, they made better progress than they had previously. Each twin was about even in his ability to control the merged form as they raced, threw, and taunted Susan right back.
Finally, the boys fell apart again, laughing at Susan's last attempt to show them up. Both were soaked in sweat and breathing heavily when they stopped laughing, but grins covered their faces.

Susan had been more than pleased with the boys' show. The actual training session ended a bit earlier than the time she'd alloted, and she now let them shower and rest and get ready for going off to their skiing venture. Susan couldn't believe that they were STILL ready for it, despite having put so much forward. She admitted she was both surprised and pleased with them. They had good work ethic, and she liked that. They'd become amazing one day if they kept that attitude up.
Susan drove them out to the large lake front where she intended to go skiing with them. Meeting them was Fredrick, a college buddy of hers. She jumped out and gave him a hug, then introduced the two as her cousins to him. Fredrick grinned and gave them both handshakes, then asked which of the two was going to show the other up. Susan rolled her eyes behind him. MORE competition, apparently.
"Come on," Fredrick waved them onwards, getting them ready to go, "So which of the four of us are first, or are we going to have to pull straws?"
"Now come on, ladies first, you know!"
"But we are your guests. Not a very good hostess, are you?" Fredrick grinned.
Susan stuck her tongue out at him.

The twins were definately used to exhausting practices and still managed to keep their spirits up, especially after a refreshing shower and some chill time. The boys eyed the man as Susan introduced them as her cousins. Keagan almost laughed at that, but just grinned instead, shaking the man's hand.
"I will!" The boys answered almost in unison, then grinned. "And we'll both beat Susan, of course," Keagan added.
Kaden shrugged. "Straws sounds good to me."

"Of course we'll all beat Susan!" Fredrick agreed, "Just because she thinks she's the top in everything doesn't mean she IS."
"You," Susan pushed the twin nearest to her, "You're going first. We'll see what sort of clutzes you two really are!"
"Ever been out before, need me to show you how?" Fredrick offered, jumping in the boat as he spoke, and helping Susan in.

Kaden blinked as Susan suddenly pushed at him. "Okay..." His brother flashed him a grin as they climbed into the boy. Kaden shook his head, then nodded. "No, never been before..."

"Oh, better let me go first so I can show you the ropes!" Fredrick laughed, and then quickly explained what water skiing was and exactly how much strength and stamina it took. It wasn't a sport for the weaklings.
He, of course, made it seem easy, then he handed the rope off, "Think you're tough enough?" He winked.
OOC: Darebone forgot to even reply to you! I am FAR better than that nimwit! HAH!

The twins listened and watched as Fredrick explained, then grinned. "No problem!" Keagan laughed, though Kaden knew that his twin was just as nervous about failing as he was. The quieter twin took the rope and held it as Fredrick had, then gave a nod, too uncertain of his stomach's condition to try and open his mouth.

The day out continued on with fun and games. Fredrick turned out to be more outgoing than Susan and successfully took on the role of host. He laughed and teased the boys about their first attempts, and then gave them some more advice. "You're going to get this you two!"
"Geeenntle," Susan said, "You don't want one collapsing on you in the water!"
Fredrick rolled his eyes, "You're the weakling. I'm sure you'll give out before they will!"
"Yeah?" Susan's eyes sparked at the challenge, "I've always won stamina contests before, what makes you think some teenagers are going to win out now?"
Fredrick smirked, then turned to whisper to the boy beside him, "On my signal, we dunk her."
((Feel free to knock her and anyone else you'd like over the side of the boat. wink ))

The boys grinned back at Fredrick, then at each other. At the man's signal, they helped push Susan off and then wrestled to throw Fredrick into the water as well. Eventually, only Kaden stood on the boat, grinning at the others. Keagan was laughing in the water nearby. "Let's get him in as well!" He told the others.

Fredrick didn't need a second push, he swam closer to the boat to pull himself up, and chased after Kaden. Susan guessed where this was headed and started to float on the water, "YOU boys battle it out!" She laughed.
"You're a bad hostess!" Fredrick shouted back, and by merit of cornering Kaden, was about to toss him out of the boat on the other side of where they were, "HAH, now I am king of the boat! No one shall surpass my reign!"
"Oh, PLEASE!"

Keagan laughed and watched as Fredrick chased his twin brother around the boat before Kaden was finally tossed overboard into the water, laughing. Keagan glanced over at Susan. "Oh, I don't know... he looks much tougher than you..."
