They'd been seen and the kids had run off in fear. The first person they saw that looked like he could helped babbled off to him.
He paid them generously to please keep their mouths shut. And the police officer smiled as they left. Ah, today was a lucky break.
He found them where the kids had mentioned they were, and waved them over, "Yo! You two! A word, please?"
He beckoned them over with a smile to show in hopes that they wouldn't be too worried about an officer coming over.

"Crap, crap, crap!" Keagan exclaimed as the kids ran off out of sight. "C'mon, Kade, we've gotta get out of here. They'll tell." By the emphasis he'd put on the word tell, one could see that it had a hidden meaning. The twins weren't just going to be in trouble for being on the practice field when it wasn't practice time, no they had bigger worries.
Kaden sank to the ground, however, exhausted. "We wore ourselves out too much, Keag. I can hardly move..." He looked up at an identical version of himself and knew that his brother was just as tired as he was. But they'd made improvements, oh yes they had. And it was amazing that they'd managed to hide it for this long. But they had been careful... how could they have let it slip now?
Keagan started to turn back and help his brother to his feet when he gave a sigh. He just didn't have the energy. "Maybe... maybe they'll be too scared..." He suggested as he sat on the ground with Kaden, who gave a snort of disbelief. "Yeah... I didn't think so either..."
In unison, the twins' heads jerked up as someone called out to them. They made out the waving form of a police officer and exchanged looks. Surely they couldn't get into any legal trouble... could they? It wasn't illegal to be an evo, right? The twins had little knowledge of current events other than what was talked about amongst the football team. In fact, if the news didn't have a sports section, neither boy would ever watch it. As it was, they often just flipped it on when it was about time for sports anyways.
The boys heaved themselves to their feet and walked over to where the officer was standing. "Yes, officer?" Keagan asked, wondering just how much this cop knew.

"Would you boys mind doing me a favor? My wife and I are moving to a larger apartment this weekend. I had some friends that were coming to help, but they knocked out on me at the last moment. Say... fifty bucks each and a run to your place of choice for dinner?" He winked, "My son would appreciate it. He's rather found of his in town sports heroes."
The boys looked exhausted and frightened right now. He didn't have any experienced with evolveds, but he knew what his training alone told him. They weren't in trouble, and he didn't want them to panic. He'd just quietly tell his higher ups and have them make what phone calls were necessary so that a 'friend' of his could show up and bring it up. The N.S.A. could handle it, he would get out of paying moving fees, and his son could meet some sports players. Sounded like a good deal to him.
((*snicker, snugs*))

The twins visibly relaxed as the cop asked about getting some help moving. Keagan glanced over at his brother for a moment before turning back to the officer. "Sure, we could help." Though the cop probably didn't know what he was getting into with offering dinner. Two football players could take out a small buffet if hungry enough and these two definately were! Plus, who didn't like to be fawned over?
The boys were still a bit frightened, but their fear had been pushed aside for now. This cop didn't know anything about it, obviously, as he hadn't said anything to them. Surely that would be the first thing someone would ask them.

"Great!" The man gave the boys a time and directions to his apartment and told him he was looking forward to seeing them then.
Saturday came and it seemed that the whole apartment was going to be moved by the police offer (Jerry), the twins, and a young, blonde lady. His wife was pregnant and helping to keep the little boy occupied, though she didn't seem to be too successful at it, as he ran between the movers all day. Susan was the quiet, no nonsense type, but she joked with the 3 year old boy and teased the boys, telling them that she could carry twice anything that they could. And she did, carrying quite a bit more than any normal human should be able to.
It was right after Jerry's promised dinner that Susan gave away her secret. She picked up the skirt she was in and rolled up the sleeves of her long, baggy shirt to show exactly why she had chosen that apparel of the day. She'd been hiding the fact that her body was literally rock-like in appearance.
She nodded to the boys, "Having abilities comes in handy," She whispered, looking to make sure no one was listening other than them.

The twins were more relaxed by the time Saturday came about. No one had approached them other than the officer and those kids weren't in their normal circles anyways, so neither boy saw them. Kaden and Keagan had fun playing with the young son of the cop and teasing Susan right back. Both were a bit surprised at her strength, especially when compared to their own. They had a bit of fun teasing her about joining their football team.
Both rather full and content, it took them a moment to see what Susan was showing them. Both boys jumped at her quiet statement, looking about nervously. Kaden opened his mouth as if to say something, but shut it once again. Finally, Keagan managed to speak. "What... what makes you think we have... abilities..?" He asked in a muttered tone. They definately didn't have skin like that!

Susan smiled, "Because when your classmates spotted you two on the football field, they told the man of the house here. He had his boss call the National Supers Agency. I am an evolved from there, and I am one of the trainers." She was also one of the known Supers, but if they didn't guess that from seeing her skin in its evolved state, she wasn't going to bring it up.
"I can drive you two home, and we can talk about power and what that means, and what some of your options could be." She offered.

Kaden's eyes went wide and he scooted closer to his brother. So they had told someone! Keagan eyed the woman for a while longer, then nodded. "Okay." Hey, it was a free ride home and she'd tell them some more stuff that they'd probably need to know.
Kaden finally spoke up, though. "You're.... you're not going to tell our mom, are you?" He glanced at his brother as if thinking that Keagan should've thought about this. He supposed they'd probably have to tell her eventually, but it'd be best if they told her, he thought.

Susan shook her head at Kaden's question, then went on to explain who the National Super Agency were, and how she would like to HELP the boys. There wasn't a training school near for them, but they could either relocate or the agency could send in a trainer. She'd sighed then, saying it would probably be her. She was the closest person around for them, and had body manipulation abilities as well. She stressed that the agency would try to keep them anonymous to the best of their ability. They would train somewhere private. And, she'd added, hopefully it wouldn't all be here if she was to be the trainer. She didn't live very close, so sometimes they may come to where she was, or they'd meet half way or the like. She had joked that that was actually an advantage to them if that was the case, but didn't say why.
She asked the nature of their abilities and why they were so worried about it. And she assured them that things would be fine, answering all their questions in a positive light.

Kaden sighed and listened along with his brother to Susan's explinations. So these people were going to help them learn how to use their abilities? Neat! Keagan shook his head on relocating. They liked this town and their football team and school. Kaden wondered what was with the joke, but didn't ask. He didn't want to look really stupid in front of her... especially if she was most likely going to be the one training them.
Keagan paused before answering Susan's question. "We... we become one person. Our bodies squish together and we're tougher and stronger that way." Kaden nodded in support of his brother's explination. "But it's hard to stay that way..." Kaden added.

"That's really impressive. I'll bet you wished you could play as your merged form then, hmm?" She grinned, "I bet I could STILL lift more than the two of you combined!" She challenged.
Susan might have been the serious type, but she apparently enjoyed the challenge with these boys. She could excuse them for their teenage boy talk and actions... Because they WERE... Just as long as they didn't grow up staying that way like two certain supers she could name.

Keagan grinned. "I dunno about that..." Though, really, he didn't. They hadn't been able to figure out their limits much as a merge due to the fact that they could hardly keep it going for a long enough period. "When do we get to start?" He asked, almost eager to start right then.
Kaden, however, was a little more realistic about the whole thing. "It'll be hard to fit in more practice with school and football..." He pointed out to his brother. They already spent a good portion of their time in football practice.

Susan nodded. "I understand that. But do you agree that its an important matter to get control over? If you do not...well...who knows what will happen? Someone might accidentally see you. And I'm not telling you two you have to train with me every day. We could start by one or two days a week and see how it goes from there? What do you think of that?" She spoke mostly to Kaden, seeing how Keagan was the more excited one of the two and was already eager to get involved.

Kaden frowned a bit and nodded. "Yeah... guess that makes sense..." He muttered, then thought for a moment. "We could do a day or two a week, I guess." His brother grinned and nudged him.
"Sure, we can, Kade." Keagan told him. "We've wanted to learn how to stay together, haven't we? And she's gonna tell us." He jerked his thumb at Susan.
"So... when can we start?" Keagan shot at Susan.

"Let me know your schedule, and I'll tell you," Susan answered cheerfully, pulling a palm pilot out of her bag, "This is exciting! I can't wait to start. What do you like to do, to eat? We shouldn't just train. I know I'm older and an adult and all, but we can still hang out a little bit. Besides, it's kind of hard to trust some one with something like powers when you don't know anything about them."
Susan chatted with the boys a little longer, setting a date for their first training session, somewhere close to home for them, and adding that they should go water skiing afterwards, if they wanted to. She'd have a friend of hers meet them there. She reminded them that they weren't to tell anyone about her, just for safety reasons. She handed them her cell phone number as well as Jerry's again, if they ever needed anything.
She paused as they reached the boys' house, asking if they needed anything.
