While it is indeed tempting to keep the title of Guild Leader and continue to shunt the work onto Vince and the others, there are certain issues that you are failing to see.
That idea would be fine for internal issues of the guild.
But what if someone from outside the guild has an issue? If I keep the title, they will naturally contact me. And it is not fitting for a guild leader to simply say to an outsider "I don't have time to listen to you, go talk to one of my subordinates."

Sir, Tim, I understand your feelings. The GIB is the people, not the titles we have, but the outside world does not see this. What you say is true; a leader needs to be responsible for himself and the entirity of whatever it is he presides over. I respect your decision entirely.
So, you do what you need to do... meet some friends... drink an extra shot of sake just for us... and if you have the time, TIM... if you can muster up the resolve...
Give a girl a kiss for me, will you? Just one... tell her it's from Quinn Cillian... tell her I love her, though I've never seen her or met her...
Because that is the spirit of the GIB... we care about, we protect every single Gaian whether or not they give a damn about us. We don't need a title. We need ourselves. And we'll do fine, no matter who leads us.

Seriously though, The title is not the big deal here. Its the illusion of responsibility towards others. As TIM pointed out, In the eyes of everyone else I am merely "The vice captain" And well... That will just not be good enough in some ways. For the past while I've basically been running things, TIM won't deny it, he's said so himself.
As for calling me "sir" and junk... well anyone that knows me knows that just kinda slides off my back anyways. I shall settle for "master"

It's not like I'm a horrible tyrant bent on World Domination... never you mind about that thread in the crew forum.... ninja But really its a matter of that hated thing... POLITICS. Internally we know the difference, but as TIM cited... Gaia outside will need someone to look to and TIM doesn't feel he has the time. It's a shame, but it's true.
Anyways, I promise you guys I'll only go a LITTLE mad with power. Promise. heart

@Everyone: See? Vince is a totally balanced and sane leader. ninja In any case, this is mainly to reinforce what he said... even though he was mainly reinforcing what I said. And I trust him as a friend an former vice-captain enough to know that he'll not muck up the GIB in a way that I wouldn't approve of. In fact, he'll have enough respect for me as a friend and founder of the GIB to respect my decision if I disagree with him on a major administrative point... RIGHT, VINCE?
In any case, Vince will make a fine care-taker of the GIB while I'm otherwise occupied. I am sure of it.
@Toast: Thanks, and will do. In fact, I have several stories already. And I need to be writing another one tonight.
I've been meaning to link you guys to my blog for a while, but my irrational fear of mingling my personal life with Gaia has kept me from doing so.
