Nevira Shadowfire LOL. I started messing around on Tektek and actually made the cyborg Anubis...and it does make my eyes burn burning_eyes And it's expensive to boot! Hoorah! domokun Total Value: 397,929 Gold [Item Information]...I think it's time for me to shut my trap as well. sweatdrop rofl Good job, very futuristic. I'm just waiting for Gaia to create Heru's head and destroy that gonk (I beg Gaia not to make Djehuty's head!!)

... Oh my god... That head really does look like a cyborg!! eek I didn't think of it when I first saw it, but know when you mention it... Lokun's "I-got-a-problem-with-this" list: 1: Hundreds of gaians will wear a Anubis/Inpu mask and call themselves "The egyptian god of death"... 2: There will be several Anubis-lookalikes on the arenas for a (God knows) looong time from know on. But the problem is that there really isn't anything suitable on Gaia right know that could be used for an Anubis body. And know 3: Anubis looks like a cyborg... crying Or some kind of space-jackal from the future... gonk And what with those red eyes!? stare Question: What next? sweatdrop

LOL! Who knew that head would be so much fun? I love it, and I bet even He finds all of this amusing. wink
I didn't have any specific archvillain in mind, Nevira- it just had that Batman techno-gothic look to me. Thanks for the welcome back! It's been really busy lately- but I've been working on a traditional-style Egyptian picture, and it actually turned out fairly well. I probably ought to put it up here some time. 3nodding

Yeah, as you can see I made an Anubis avatar aswell, it looked more Anubis before, but I kept changing it to make it look cooler. ^^;; Not to mention the other items Anubis is sharing the gift with, like Hades, that monkey god etc. Edit, I took it off, but if you still want to see it just message me, and i'll put it back on.

Poor Anubis, poor Egyptian gods! This discussion reminds me of a picture I saw--it was some old gods gathered around a pc, and these looks of utter horror/confusion on their faces--especially Anubis. He's, ah...featured, let's say, in a lot of anthro/furry art. My pagan friend keeps wondering and asking "is nothing sacred anymore?" and I just have to agree. It's similar to how many people just don't think they might be offending someone when they say holy cow instead of something like jesus christ.

I think this would sum it up perfectly: Granted, I am a furry-fan, but I am also a worshipper of Netjer, and even I find it rather shameful how many furry artists have been using poor Yinepu, Bast and Sekhmet for thier 'fantasies'
