Wraith rolled his his eyes. She was a wee bit stuck up, wasn't she...Well, she'd learn to listen eventually. His ear twitched; the sound of a small rodent in the underbrush recaptured his attention.
In an instant, he pounced. One moment he was at least ten feet in the air, lying in the tree...The next, he was on the ground, with something squirming between his jaws. A quick crunch later, and it was squirming no more. Wraith spat it out to examine his prize.
"...The hell? A guinea pig?"

She turned and looked over her shoulder as she heard Wraith's exclaimation.
"Haha! You lose!" She laughed, flicking her tails, thouroughly enjoying this.

"You say that, but I'm the one with food..." Wraith said over the guineapig-bit in his mouth. A roll of thunder passed overhead. Wraith looked up, just in time to catch a large raindrop in his eye. Blinking rapidly, he peered up once more. The storm wasn't quite here yet, but the rain was.

"not listening!" She said, once again turning her nose up to the sky, tails swishing.
She twiched a large ear as large raindrops began to fall. Grrr! She lept up on a nearby bolder, shaded by a large leaf, almost like an elephant ear.
See? getting shelter wasn't that hard! She always got what she needed. (Though she needs knocked off her pedistal, more than shelter XDD))

Wraith sighed, then approached Glow, slowly chewing his food like a slightly crunchy wad of gum. "You're a bit naive, aren't you..." He trailed off, spitting the tail out at her feet.
From the ground, he looked up at her. "Now look her, Glory...Glow...Whatever your name is. How long have you been living out here on the surface, hmm?" He questioned, leaping up onto a boulder so they were eye level with each other.
"Have you ever truly EXPERIENCED anything other than the occasional thunderstorm, from inside your safe little hole, where the only thing you have to fear is the possibility of getting a wee bit damp?" He continued, closing the distance between them. He licked his chops, clearing up the last of the guinea pig's blood, then grinned. His teeth were spotless.

"for your information, I've been on the surface sence I was a kit!" She stuck her tongue out at him. "you should be worrying about your own tails anyway" She said, wrinkling her nose.
"I can take care of my self! I'm not some little defensless kit! I'm a full grown Kitsusagi, thank you very much!"
This kitsu was infuriating! sticking his nose in her business when he should be watching out for his self! had she been able to twich those massive lop-ears of hers, she would have done so with much irritation.

Wraith's grin widened, narrowing his eyes. "And how long ago were you a kit? I'll bet you haven't even experienced four seasons up here...You don't even know what snow is, do you?" He said, his voice lowering to a whisper.
Wraith slunk down from the boulder, his paws squishing in the newly formed mud. "Do you know what will happen in a few weeks, Glow?" He called back behind him. "You do know what happens on the surface...right?" Wraith ended, sinking into the black of the underbrush. Lightning lit up the sky, and a spot of pink was visible for a second. Then it was gone, as Wraith steadily made his way, leaving a trail of paw prints in the mud, without a word as to where he was headed.

"Does this look like a face that cares?" She said, lifting a brow, and crossing her front paws.
Perhaps she was a little curious, but like she was going to indulge the annoying kitsu? Cha, yeah right.
she flicked a tail, watching Wraith, but making no motion to leave her boulder. So what about this 'snow'? If and when it came, nature would provide her with what she needed to make it through!

Wraith's keen ears picked up MG's reply. He let out a sharp laugh, and continued on his way, calling out behind him: "A face that cares? What do you have to care about, exactly?"
His mouth closed, his lips curling into the familiar grin.

Wraith's grin turned into a scowl. That dumb broad...Well, hopefully tonight might knock some sense into her... He thought to himself. Suddenly, he stopped moving, and turned around. His grin returned, and he slunk stealthily, silently up a rocky crag, from which he could look down to the boulder field in which MG was taking shelter. He stopped moving.
Moments later, the lightning truly arrived. The sky lit up a few times, as the clouds above rubbed together. Finally, they built up enough static, and a bolt of blindingly bright energy shot down from above. It struck the tree that Wraith had been in less than fifteen minutes before. The tree burst into flame, and one of it's larger limbs flew high into the air, smashing down on the boulder Wraith had been sitting on just minutes before. Smoking splinters began to shower down over Morning Glory, mingling with the heavy rain.

Glow would have laughed had the smoldering bits not been coming down, catching her leaf, and putting holes in it.
"Curses." stare
Now there were several holes in the large leaf, dripping water upon the grouchy lop. She was by no means happy.
Wind picking up blew more rain on her. Still, it was nothing she'd die from.

Wraith stared for a moment, a cold feeling (Colder than the rain soaking his fur,) traveled slowly down his spine, like cool treacle. If he hadn't moved, if he had stayed...He would rather not think about it. He had to hand it to the thick-headed lop...She was brave, even if it was for the wrong reasons.
The temperature took a sudden dip, as a sharp wind dove down from miles above. The clouds parted for a moment, letting in an eerily red moon. Then, it began to hail. The first one, about the size of small pebble decided to land on the top of Wraith's head. Wraith instantly stopped thinking for a while. A few more bounced around him, shattering into little icy shards. A split-second later, a golfball sized hail shattered mere inches from Morning Glow's muzzle. A small piece lodged itself in her nostril, melting instantly.

Glow let out a sneeze, shaking her head, just to be pelted with another one of those ice balls. She scooted back closer to the foilage that shaded her rock, only to back of the edge of it.
"OOF!" Well, at least now she had more leaves covering her,..even if the hail beat them down on her, at leas it wasn't a direct hit.
See? Even when she wasn't expecting it, nature came to save her from itself! Haha!
