"Nozing iz like flying." He said softly tis time, watching as a bird passed overhead. "Juu dun know what juu are mizzing. Bu-ut perhaps,..eet, iz better that way."
It was hard, giving up something that he had come to know and love. Flying the airship had been one of the few things he had ever been good at. He was never exactly the kind of person for brute work,.and he obviously wasn't much for social skills either - he could tell that even now. He could tell that by the way Atae had hopped up so suddenly a moment ago.
He offered the kitsu an awkward appologetig grin. "I'm soree. I did not mean tu yell earrlier."

Atae flicked her tails nervously. "Aaahh... it wasn't that." She didn't normally just tell people but... well... she also didn't really have any reason not to. "I, er... have this ability, but it's really sporadic... it was acting up just a minute ago. Sometimes I can... er... feel what other people are feeling when they're particularly upset or happy or something. Normally it only happens around friends and family but once in a while it happens with people I just met, too. I didn't mean to hop up like that... it's sort of a reflex... distance helps sometimes." Fidget fidget nervous shy habit of tail flicking and rubbing one forepaw with the other. "And ah... I'm not trying to pry or anything, don't think that. I can't control it... and it doesn't happen often... just sorta akward when it does." Please don't be mad or something... >>;

Brother sat there for a moment, brow furrowed, as he tried to sort out what the Kitsu was saying. "Yeesh, juu confoose me!" He waved a paw dismissively.
It didn't take moch to confuse Brother though. he wasn't slow per say, just a few things got lost in translation, and by the time he had figured it out, he had missed the rest of what was said.

"SO!" Brother started. "Eef juu are hungree, zere are plenty of fish in ze river. Other zen zat, ze choices are slif for food. Eh,..make yourself at home!"
Brother was no good at entertaining guests, but he was giving his best shot. Besides, the company wasn't that bad. It was nice to get to talk to an actual being, rather than the open air.

Atae blinked and grinned. Well, if he didn't get it and didn't care, who was she to argue? At least he was trying to be hospitable. "Ah... I'm not hungry right this moment." She peered up at his dwelling curiously. "Did you... put that together yourself?"

"hn?" He crained his head to glance at his shelter. "Oh, zat. Yezzz. It, er,..waz supposed to be an,..airship but,...Iiiii. Eet. Didn't work. He gave a sheepish look, as one ear twitched. "So now, eet iz my home!" He gave a nod.
Oh well, at least he had a nice place to stay, and even now with the vines and other plants growing up over it, it was begining to not look so bad.

"It's kinda neat... sorry it wouldn't fly. Ah... did you make furniture and stuff, too?" She was interested now, if not excitedly so. She liked to learn about stuff, and about how things were made... though if Bryn was here the Nobody-girl would be all over Brother's dwelling by now trying to see how it was put together. That girl was fascinated by anything machine...

"eet used to, till I, err,..gave up." his ears dropped at having to actually say he'd given up on the thing, but it was true. He had his dreams, his memories, that'd just have to suffice, and he couldn't dwell on the past forever. Not that thinking was one of this strong points anyway.
It wasn't really that big anyway. He had to clean it out to have very much space.
"Errr,..feel frrreeee to explore!" He put on a lopsided grin.((perhaps that should be the next one to drop by XDD ))
