Davey's eyes looked to the floor at nothing particular as his mind and feelings battled against each other, he loved her... but felt betrayed by her, wanted to be with her but wasnt sure if he could trust her.. he sat on the floor the weight of the internal battle too great for his legs to bear. "As am I my love, promise me at least if you wish to travel, you will take me with you... you know I'd go to the ends of the earth for you" he looked up at her now his saddened eyes almost begging her... it was only she who could make him weak, only she could reduce him to the demeanor of a child... were it anyone else they would be dead where they stood... only she could he love
((I thought her human form happend after the betrayal because that was when Davey told the pirate lords the secret to binding her))

"of course!" Tia was surprised that he thought she wouldn't want him with her. Now that he wasn't bound to the Dutchman, she was happier than she had been in years. "I would never leave you of my own free will, I promise you. Now dat we are togeder.... nothing short of brute force will change dat."

This did much to lighten Davey's mood he was finally where he belonged. Standing up again he wrapped one arm around her, not wanting to accidentally hurt her with his claw then gave her a big kiss, he was full ready to leave any hard feelings behind and move on to the happy times. He had what any and every sailor dreamed, the love of the sea, for every sailor loved the sea, but how many could say the sea loved them back? "Well now, least if yeh have need ofany nuts or shells bein cracked yeh got someone to be helpin yeh!" he held up his claw to show what he was refering to and gave a laugh at his joke, he looked outside and wondered if she too controled the rain on this island as it seemed the rain had, for now abaited

Tia laughed. "So I do. How handy you are Davey."
She also glanced outside. "Wild storm today was. Perhaps it was a foreboding to something to come..." she wondered aloud. She did not control the weather, as it was a pain to have to change for anyone.

Davey smiled glad he could be of service, he hated feeling useless and having tasks to do relaxed him "Aye that it was, let us hope the forboding is of something good then eh?" He smiled at her, it felt good to smile and mean it, he hadn't truly smiled in years, he began cracking the items she had assigned him careful not to pulverize them, standing side by side working together felt ... he didn't know... it was a wonderful feeling but not one he could put a word to

Tia was actually quite happy with having someone else around. As much as she was alone, it was comforting to have someone else there. Especially the someone that she had become earth bound for. It was even more helpful that he was cracking the nuts and shellfish that she was going to need for ingredients to a stew she was brewing currently. It would be edible, even if it looked horrible.

Davey watched Tia as she added ingredients into a pot focusing on her work, she has this glow about her that gave him piece, it is said that a sailor sails because he has a restless soul and can't stay in one place too long, that only the sea can bring the calm they seek, he hadn't believed it, he only wanted freedom, to be rid of the 'proper society laws' but now he wondered if there wasn't truth in the saying, he was a sailor after all, and she was the sea, and this calm he felt he knew came from her. "What we be makin love?" It looked ...interesting... but it smelt good and that was more than he could say for the food that was normally eaten on ships

"A hearty stew, as you look like you've lost some weight in your travels." Tia explained, letting some of it simmer while she ground some spices to add in when it got back up to the boiling point. "I'm a bit hungry myself.... "
She was content. Making a stew was just like making a brew or potion of some kind. Fortunately, otherwise she would probably have not been doing so right then.

Davey looked at himself lost weight? Really? He didn't think he had, in fact he kinda felt like he had gained some ... tenticles and all "I admit I am ravished myself, had a long journey to get here, but it was worth every moment" not that his travels had been bad, most of it was through the ocean which after all was her domain and his home, still it had been very long and he hadn't eaten anything besides fish and gruel for ages "It smells outstanding and I bet it tastes even better" thats the benefit of haven eaten crap for many years, even if something tasted awful to you it would taste great because it was at least better or different from the crap your used to. Davey couldn't remember ever eating anything of hers so he wasn't sure what to expect

Tia smiled and shook her head. "I cannot imagine you having eaten well on that ship, your crew does not look like zey can cook." she commented, putting some of the stew into a bowl first for Davey, then for herself.
She breathed in deep, having finished the stew and any potion or concoction, she felt accomplished. Glad for it, she settled into a nearby set of cushions with her bowl and watched as Davey attempted to eat his own meal.

"Aye an it be rough findin fresh food to be cookin" he nodded and took a sip of the stew which was warm and exploded with taste and texture unlike the bland mush that was what passed as food on a ship "Ho! This be outstandin!" he lifted the bowl to his mouth and started to gulp it down his tenticles wrapping around the bowl to lead the stew directly into his mouth without a drop spilt, this did however cause him to make a wet slopping sound as he ate
