I'm sort of kind of confused about the blue...
It would look better purple, but other then that--It's cool.

Yeah, that PM thing is.... Well they HAVE to do something about that. In all the updates we've known when we had mail, but I just looked up and saw that I had a pm. That is not a very effective way to tell you have mail xp
Or we could be watchful?

Now that I think about it, what you said about the color differences... It's kinda true. The clash is obnoxious. I didn't even notice it in my enthusiastic glee. rolleyes I do find it functional, but the... look is sort of... Well, it looks like a beast perched on the forums! smile The map is cool though!

It does seem rather large and out of place.
Like it was pasted on top of the page.
I didn't like the purple landing page either.

Well, they said the rest of the site is going to be worked into it. I think that everyone feels that it's huge because there's actually color along the whole top of the page, even though it is actually smaller than the last header.
I really like it, I think it's really cool.
I also LOVE how they now do Daily Chance. It looks like a little claw machine game. whee

I think that everyone feels that it's huge because there's actually color along the whole top of the page, even though it is actually smaller than the last header. I really like it, I think it's really cool. I also LOVE how they now do Daily Chance. It looks like a little claw machine game. whee Yes, the fact that the last header had a lot of white made it feel more spacious. Which is one reason why it looks so badly perched on the forums. A little space between it and them would do wonders, but it is already rather large. I do like the daily chance icon, but I hate how it WHITES out your screen when you click it. It is obnoxious.

Well, they're slowly making the site work with it, so hopefully it'll look great and in place by next week.
I do agree with you, though. I does feel really big.

I really adore the new layout, but the only conflict I have with it is the huge top banner. It does make things seem smaller when viewing the top of the forum at least.

I think the navigation bar is GREEEATLY improved, pretty much my most favored part of the layout change thus far.

I felt with the last layout that we had lost it... cause you never needed it to get around.. and it was sorta stuck far off in the deepest corner of the bandwidth void.... its nice to see it come back... reminds me of the old days... when the map was actually important.
