Sorry, the arena is full, and is not acepting anymore. You need to wait until I start a new arena.

So sorry I haven't posted for two days. I just murdered a lizard that I was very close to, so I haven't really been in a fighting mood.
Lex brings his sword up, praying that he could stop Ellisent's attack...

[Aw, sorry dude!
BTW, I still feel like this battle is all due to luck. Any hopes of improving upon that?]

Uhhh... well I am not really sure how I sould improve it so it isnt just luck. Except for the concept of actually saying youre attack, but then there will be people trying to God mode.
Hits left: Lex: 7 Folch: 10

[Maybe you could take it this way - perfect blocks and attacks stay the same, but a "success" in either hitting or blocking then goes to you for approval. If a post isn't good enough or has its openings to exploitation, you can veto the dice roll.]

Lex's sword was only halfway raised when Ellisent's attack connected. Lex cursed himself for his fumble and winced as the blade bit into his shoulder. But with Ellisent's blade stuck in his own shoulder, that left Ellisent wide open. Lex went for Ellisent's left side, once again praying that his blow would hit.

Seeing this move at the last possible second, Ellisent lept in the direction of the swipe, letting his grip loosen around the hilt of his blade. Urging and prodding his body to swing faster, he revolved around the handle like a finely-tuned pendulum, twirling around the already painful-seeming wound. Hoping to stir up a good deal of blood as he did so, his attempted acrobatics were seriously his best bet out of this. He had a great set of legs under him, and they never filed to propel him to where he needed to go.
Come on...don't ******** up, man. DON'T ******** up...
He could feel the air parting behind him...the blade was drawing close....
