Jack Magnússon BOOOOOMMM!!!! Lost... Damn... Jack was lost... Again. He was always getting lost in this school, it wasn't like the schools he had back home, this one was big, and old, and well just weird. Turning corner after corner was doing nothing to help either. " Oh for fu.. Furbies sakes, where am I now. HELLOO!!!" He shouted, hoping to grab someone attention as he continued his now long winded walk up and down this seemingly maze of a school, well it was to him anyway. He had started out trying to find a toilet, and as he REALLY needed it it was more of a frantic rush for a toilet, thus had forgotten to take note of which direction he had zoomed in from. Not the first time. Stopping at yet another 'cross roads' Jack found himself again spoiled for choice as to which direction to take. " How can I get lost, I mean you'd think if I kept walking I'd get somewhere that was recognisable... Hellooooo!!!" He shouted again at the different choices

Alec looked up at the vents, immediately detecting that that was where the source of the new french voice was coming from. Alec looked into the vents, and he could vaguely make out the outline of blue dog eyes from behind the slitted metal.
Athena, Alec thought to himself.
Alec took a quick glance to make sure Silas wasn't watching him. He wasn't, so he quickly looked back up at the vent and made a cutting motion across his neck to signal Athena to lay low for the moment. He had this under control.
Luckily Silas was still flustered, and as such hadn't been able to really collect his thoughts yet. Alec took the opportunity to move his plan into action. Alec's tone was short and precise, all nonsense having been banished to ends of the earth.
"Alright, look. We KNOW you stole the plans for Seven and her siblings. We can't prove it, but we know you did. The retinas on your new robots are IDENTICAL to Seven's."
Silas was shocked, stunned, and flabbergasted to say the least. This prat had found out about his involvement in Ialo's business, and managed to figure out that he had copied Ialo's designs. But he was still confused about the situation, he still had questions. "So what? If you know you can't prove it then why the hell are you telling me? What do you want?"
Alec looked at Silas with a gaze as hard as granite. "We want Ialo back, and you to get the hell off this campus."
Silas just stared at Alec for a full 2 minutes. Then, slowly, he smirked. He began to chuckle. In a few moments he was outright belly laughing. He began to hold his gut he was laughing so hard. "Ha ha ha ha ha! Ho ho, hahaha! Ho, ho man. You are an IDIOT! There is NO WAY I'd let that p***k go! Besides, he's been tried and judged! I have no say in the matter anymore!"
Alec snorted at this. "Oh please, we both know you have the connections to get him released if you really tried."
Silas' laughter began to recede, yet his smile stayed as he warmed at the hard compliment. "That's true. But the fact remains, there's no way I'd ever help that a*****e. He's done, gone. Forever." Silas turned away from both Alec and Seven and sat in his gold chair, kicking his feet up on Ialo's desk, settling in to his new seat.
Alec strode over to the desk and slammed his hands into the wood, causing it to shake violently. Silas was almost knocked from his seat, but he still managed to regain his balance. Alec's voice was cold as he seemed to speak directly to Ialo's soul. "You think you've won, haven't you?"
Silas raised an eyebrow at the vague question. Yet, he somehow thought he knew what Ialo was talking about. His smile got just the tiniest bit wider as he spoke calmly and assuredly. "Yes. I do."
Alec snorted again, marveling at Silas' blatant arrogance. "You haven't won. All you've managed to do is disqualify your opponent." Alec leaned in close so that his face was right next to Silas, his voice low and cold as ice. "He's still better than you."
Now it was Silas' turn to snort at the ridiculousness of that statement. "Oh please. If he's better than me than how come he's in prison and I'm in his office?"
"Think about it. ALL of the things you've created or developed in the last few years were all based on things that Ialo managed to put out first. And on top of that, NONE of them were ever as good as his. Even the freaking press agrees. Your products were always coming in second place."
"...That... That's ridiculous. Shut up, or I'll have you banned from the campus indefinitely."
That was it. That moment of hesitation. Alec had gotten to him. He decided to hit the hammer blow to get Silas to crack, and play right into his hands.
Alec turned around and walked over to Seven, who was standing in the room like the perfect individual she was. Alec looked her up and down, admiring her beauty for himself for a moment, but mostly to emphasize the parts that Silas should be focusing on. "Just look at her. She's almost perfect in every way, and I hardly ever say that about anything. I mean, just look at her! Her hair, her shoulders, her waist, her legs, her face, her eyes, her mouth, her nose. It's all perfectly shaped for her own personality. Oh! Did I mention she actually has a personality? And feelings? That's actually a new thing. She can adapt too. And very well. It took her all of 5 minutes to hack into your servers and steal just about all the information your entire corporation owns, in all of your different stations across the globe, translate them, and compile them alphabetically, numerically, chronologically, and also in terms of relevance. And on top of all of that? She's really supposed to be a SATELLITE. I'd like to see your robots even come close to the sheer ingenuity that she naturally has."

Seven carefully watched the conversation between Alec and Mister Lyme. The whole time, she was moving - crossing and uncrossing her arms, idly messing with the hem of her cardigan, shifting her weight periodically, tucking that loose curl behind her ear.
And then, when Alec looked at her, she blushed, shyly waving back.
"Ah...Merci, mon chéri Alec. It is nothing, I am only doing my duties to my Master, and to his people."

Silas' jaw almost dropped to the floor. Even in victory, Ialo was STILL managing to gloat in his face. This... machine, this... robot, this... THING... was BLATANTLY flaunting itself in front of him. Mocking his accomplishments. Mocking his abilities. Mocking his DIGNITY! Silas' face was slowly contorting into a look of sheer rage. NO! This was NOT happening! He had WON! HE had won! NOT IALO! NOT IALO! NOT IALO!!!!!
Silas slammed both his fists into the wooden table, actually causing the wood to splinter visibly. His mouth was practically foaming, and his face had actually begun to deform slightly since his concentration wasn't anywhere close to being able to control his looks at the moment. "IT'S NOT FAIR! I WON DAMNIT! ME! ME! ME!!! I WON! NOT IALO! NOT IALO!!!" Every time Silas said a new syllable he slammed his hands into the desk, causing more and more cracks to appear in the stained wood. After a while Silas just stood there, his back erect like an angry cats, his face seeming to melt into a mass of wrinkles and anger, and his mouth now actually foaming a green substance from the corners of it. He just stood there, breathing heavily, almost baring his teeth at the two of them.
Alec wanted to smile so bad. He had done it. He had hit just the right nerve. Silas was a flaming wreck, and he knew it. Now it was time for him to plant the seed that would hopefully get Ialo released. "Do you really want to win Silas?"
The answer was immediate. "YES!!!"
"Then do it the right way. With a competition. Your people against Ialo's. If ours win, then you go through your contacts and set Ialo free, give him back the school, and leave. If you win, you can burn the school to the ground and do away with all of Ialo's research. Erase his mark from history, and replace it with yours."
Silas' breathing slowed, his back loosening, and his face began to take shape once again. Alec's wager had piqued his curiosity. He had never been in a situation like this before. Normally he had always been able to work the system so that he could simply take what he wanted. He'd never had an honest wager before. And the idea of erasing all of Ialo's work from the face of the earth delighted Silas to no end.
After a moment Silas was back to his smug, well payed for self. He took a deep breath, ran a hand through his greased hair, and smiled. He looked at Alec and nodded his head. "Alright. I accept. What kind of competition did you have in mind?"
Alec had to think about that one for a moment. What kind of competition indeed? It would have to be something fair, but challenging. Something that people could participate in at the school, safe yet exciting. Exciting. Challenging. Competitive. Fast. Speed. Jumps. Engines. Crowds. Tracks.
Race.
The thought came to Alec naturally. He didn't know why, but it just seemed too perfect. A race. A magic race. A race across the globe and beyond. A race that would make Speed Racer proud. "We'll have a drag race. An extensive one. A cross country race that spans across the globe in different locations. With tracks that can adequately test a machine as capable as Seven and her siblings combined. "
Silas cocked an eyebrow at the idea. Not exactly what would have come to his mind at first, but he liked it all the same. Not to mention and event like this would win him a ton of publicity in the magical world. Silas nodded his head as well. "Alright. On one condition. My people design the track and choose the locations."
Alec looked at Silas questioningly. That was a balsy request, and it put a lot of power in Silas' hands. But he was holding all the chips, so Alec decided it was a necessary concession. He held out his hand towards Silas and spoke definitively. "Deal."
Silas smirked as he grasped Alec's hand firmly. The two shook, and the deal was made.
Alec nodded at Silas once. Then he turned around and grabbed Seven by the hand gently before walking straight out the doors and closing them behind him.
Silas watched the two of them leave. As the doors shut, he sat down in his golden chair and began to play with his hair in thought. He smirked again. A simple thought running through his mind.
This will be interesting, to say the least.
As soon as Alec was outside the doors, and he was certain they had closed behind him, he immediately fell to his knees and let out a long breath of exhaustion. He rocked back onto his heels and sat himself down on the school's hard stone floor, holding his head in his hands. He had just made the biggest decision of his life, and it wasn't even on his behalf.
Alec felt sick to his stomach. If they didn't win, everything would be gone. The school, Ialo's business, his research, his life's work.... Seven....
It was all very overwhelming, and it just hit Alec like an express freight train from hell.

((Athena's eyes are actually bluuuuuue, but okay~))
Athena giggled from her seat up in the vents as Alec left. She didn't even think for a moment that they couldn't win; she was an optimist like that. Forgetting for a moment that she should probably stay low for some time yet, she drew a little alchemic array upon the vents and then activated it, immediately transporting her with a loud 'BANG!' to a completely unrelated place, her giggling echoing for a few moments.
She reappeared in another part of the school which she was better able to recognize by looking at the tile than the walls, before she noticed another presence. Smiling at the boy who had, seemingly, become lost, she said, "Hallo! Are you lost?"

{{I want to move one of my Lin's forward, so I'm going to move the clone.}}
Lin repaired Ambrose's cut, using her pendant and some lowly-muttered elven incantations. Her eyes had not glowed white as they had when she worked on Ialo because Ambrose's cut was not that severe.
"Well, that is all there is to that. You did a great job today, Ambrose. We can meet outside of the school this time tomorrow if you wish. And if you have any more questions for me, you are more than welcome to come and ask me. I am most likely going to be in the infirmary for most of my free time. Professor Akakios has asked me to help him there. I will talk with later, Ambrose."
She smiled softly at him, squeezed one of his hands, and then left the science lab. She walked down the flights of stairs to the first floor and then over to the infirmary wing. She walked and looked around. Then, she went over to Professor Akakios' desk, sat down, and began looking at the most recent notes he had made so that she was caught up on anything that had happened while she was gone.
{{Just so I know, would Ophi have written any kind of note for Lin for when she got back?}}

“W-wha..?” Seven could only blink in astonishment as Alec dragged her out of the office. A race? Really?
But… she wasn’t designed for racing. She was a satellite, meant to observe and track magic patterns across the surface of the Earth. She had the ability to access almost every other computer on the planet and take control of them. She was a highly advanced machine, and one of sixteen experimental designs in pushing the boundaries of what was considered magic and machine, art and science. She was fast so that she could run from fighter jets and anti-aircraft weaponry, she was stealthy to avoid detection from radars or eyes, she was powerful so that she could process massive amounts of abstract data and materialize it into a tangible, concrete result, she was adept should she ever have to survive in an unfavorable environment.
Seven, as a rule, did not race, at least for the sake of winning. But she looked down at Alec on the floor, saw anxiety and terror in his expression, and knelt down next to him, gyroscopes keeping her perfectly balanced.
Seven, as a rule, did her duty to her Master and to his people, just like she said in front of Silas. Her duty was to serve Master Ialo. He being in prison would not stop her. His people being headed by someone other than himself would not stop her.
She would race then, and she would win. There was a man who was very important to her, who needed her to win.
So she would.
“Do you think I should ask my brothers and sisters for assistance?”

Alec did his level best to slow his breathing. His anxiety over the situation was understandable, but he still had someone holding on to him that he cared about as well, and she wanted an answer. So Alec slowly let his hands fall to his knees and exhaled calmly. He forced a small smile and nodded his head. "Yeah, the more help we have the better. There's no telling what Silas will try and do to make sure he wins. The more people we have on our sides the more chances we have of winning."

Jack Magnússon BOOOOOMMM!!!! Oooh well hello there Inu-chan Jack spun round with surprise at the sudden appearance of someone other than his own shadow. He could have sworn he was alone all this time, so where the hell did this girl come from? She had extra ears too... Well, whatever, it wasn't too unusual these days. " Emm, hi? I would ask where you came from but I'm too lost to even know where that could be, even if you did tell me." He said laughing a little nervously at his own situation. Looking the girl up and down for a minute, things caught his attention, her eyes, and her teeth. The were really different, but quite nice, in a way. He looked at his own feet for a few seconds, then, raising his head and brushing his long Blondie hair out of his scarred face looked straight into her blue eyes, they were almost as bright as his own. " So... I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you yet. I would certainly remember meeting someone as 'interesting' as you. Jack said smiling, his words were almost dripping with charm. Jack wasn't even a womaniser, but again it wasn't just this girl, Jack was just cocky.. all the time... About everything...

She sat next to Alec and patted him on the back. "It'll be alright. We'll win. After all, you heard Mister Lyme carrying on. Master Ialo always wins. We both work for him, so how can we possibly lose?" Seven smiled, and rested her chin in her hand.
"I'm glad you said all those nice things about me in there. That made me feel special... And if you like me that much, I can only image how fantastic you'll think my siblings are!"

Alec honestly was curious about Seven's siblings. He knew there was more than he probably knew about, and he wondered if any of them had as interesting personalities as Seven did. ...Of course, having come from Ialo's mind, Alec wasn't really sure he wanted to know the answer to that question. "Yeah, I would actually like to meet your siblings. Are they as... uh... colorful, as you are?"

Seven laughed, and clasped her hands together. "Oh, even more so!" she replied delightedly. She stood up, and offered a hand to Alec. "I'm one of the middle children, sometimes I feel almost invisible next to them. There's really nothing about me that stands out."

...That wasn't exactly what Alec wanted to hear. Alec took Seven's hand and stood himself up with her help. When he was sturdy, he cocked an eyebrow at Seven and asked almost cautiously, "...uh, just much do you not stand out compared to them?"

Athena grinned, her tail wagging behind her as she took that as a compliment. "Thank you~" she said, happily. "I'm Athena Astra, hanyou extraordinaire!" She struck a pose, then took little baby steps closer to him. "I like your hair." She stared at it in fascination for a moment before reaching out and briefly... well, petting it. "What's your name?"
