Hi! i just got accepted! Yay!!! heart
I'm a flutey! Well I was for three years in middle school, but my parents decided that it was time to focus all my time on my studies then be in the "stupid band". They are the ones that are stupid! But enough about them!
When I was in band I had so much fun. Although I must admit that I sucked, and I sucked bad. I was never allowed to practice, so I never improved, but at least I got to make some great friends. My friends are still in band as of today, and I try my hardest to see them perform whether it's on the football field doing marching season or on the stage during concert season, I'm always in some form or another cheering them on. It reminds me of the good old days when I was in the band myself and I too was performing along side them, but those days are over. *sigh*

Keltzy Either I am blind and didn't read the board right, or there are no flute topics. I saw other instrument topics so I thought I'd make one too. Um flute players, any of out there? Today was our first day of school and my first day playing with a different band. I was different, probably 'cause most the class forgot their instruments. sweatdrop We played pep band music, and I felt weird, 'cause the other two flutes were organizing stuff . . . But enough of my ranting, please, come talk!! i saw what u ment...i play flute too...

WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! OH we got new music today and it has a better flute part than when we did our christmas music! All we played was FAR from melody...matter of fact all we did was play the same thing over and over and over...

Today it was the last day of school before break. My band and the jazz band did a concert for 5 classes. It was really awesome, but the first chair flute screwed up so many times including trilling on the last note that was held out. Stupid male flute.

There are 14 flutes in my band. I am first flute. I really don't like other fluters.. cause they are snobby. And we argue over what seat order we should be in. This week we had a concert, called One City, One Sound. We had band practice all day. It was fun. There was a guy flute. He was cool.. until he kinda turned kinda gaylike. But he is freakin awesome!! My boyfriend is a band nerd too, but hes in denial, saying hes too 'manly' to be a band nerd. Oh well.. OH! We played a song named Dr. ROCKenstein, it was cool.. really. You should look it up.

I'm 11th chair flute in the Pinellas County All County Band...but its my 1st year okay lol ive been playing flute since 4th grade...but in 4th grade we met once a week in 5th grade i moved to FL and my damn school didnt have a band program and then in 6th grade i started back up again with Mrs. Dunsizer XP i luvv her she roxx lol and now im in 8th grade so technically this is my 3rd year playing strait ^.^ i love my baby Sylver Spring idk what id do without her
