Valin sat at the table, a small cube lay on it, projecting a hologram of a Jedi Master. It was the guardian of the Holocron - recorded by the Jedi to teach wisdom and information to students who used it.
He shut it off. Valin was tired of listening to it. Too much history and philosophy for now.
The Knight yawned and strecthed back. This was place was quite empty right now.

Red entered in her usual manner, parking her bike and spotting the Jedi at the bar. He seemed to be very much alone and very bored as well. All the better perhaps. As she aproached him she spotted a smalll cube sitting on the counter before him. It was an interesting little device that she didn't recognize.
"So what's that thing? A weapon of some sort? A bomb I mean." Her curiosity preceded her manners as she passed completely over the salutations and moved straight in to talk.

Valin smiled and greeted her, "Greetings to you, too. No, it's no bomb. It's basically a computer with lots of ancient history in it."
At least now he wouldn't be so bored. Someone to talk with was good. Though he hoped he'd have better luck getting along with her this time than their previous talks with each other.

"You Jedi talk a lot...and it seems you study alot. Is your philosophy of life that passive? You have been trained in battle haven't you? Why not exercise your body as well as your mind?"

Valin shrugged, "I enjoy studying the Jedi holocrons. The history is massive and there's so much we don't know."
As she shifted conversation he gave a some what arkward response, "Well... yes, we are trained to be warriors. As in any peacekeeping organization, you have to learn to be a diplomat and a warrior."
"I train by myself mostly. I'm trying older lightsaber styles developed before a point in history of the Jedi known as the Great Jedi Purge."
