I just joined this guild. I'm a flute player. Have been playing since 6th grade and am now a freshmen in highschool. My new flute that I got in September (I accidently dropped my piece of crap flute at the end of 8th grade year. I STILL can't believe I did that!) is a Gemeinhardt and I am completly in love with.
I hope to challenge in band soon. I got 5th chair out of 6 flutes in my band and I did way better than at least the person who got 4th chair (she can't even plaay a one octave chromatic scale and the director wants us to know how to play a two octave chromatic scale) I think the director did this because she didn't want all freshmen in the first row. And she knew that current 4th would be very angry if she got any less than 4th chair. Wish me luck on the challenge.

Just joined the guild. I've played the play the flute for four years. This past marching season, I was the only freshman flute player -_-;;. The other dropped out, that's why the rest of the flute section love me more. I've also been officially dubbed the Korean in band being the only Korean in marching band, much less close to the only one in the school. Yay! Go flutes/piccolo!

I play flute but I want to play sax or trumpet to join jazz band. flute is the best instrument I've been playing it for 3 years. heart

Hi hi! I just joined this guild, and obviously(since I'm in this forum) I play flute. I've only played it for two years, by I guess I'm pretty good. Afterall, I do play first chair in varsity/concert band and my high school. It's a very small band(there's only ten student in the whole class). But anyway, I love playing.

I play flute! I haven't been playing for that long, but I've played so many instruments before, so it didn't take too long to pick up.
Flute's are soooo shiny!

Yo!!! I played the flute for 4 years and im lovin it!!! (so copy) anyway im having fun but though im last chair!!!! in middle i was top but now im last (freshmen) but ill live to see first again!!!!XD

Hi! Im new to this guild! Iv played flute for 8 years and piccolc for 4years..i currently sit first chair out of 9 flutes and my schools band consists of 87 people ^.^ (Getting first is REALLY hard!) Umm i do Pep,concert,solo and ensamble travling competion, and marching band(My favorite!)m I just hard or Christmas concert 2 days ago. I had a solo and a piccolo part!
