that is somewhat of a complicated thing to do, and requires photoshop in some incarnation (not elements, i don't know how to do it in that)
you basically isolate the lines and then copy them to a new layer, then delete the original scan, so all you have are the lines by themselves. then you copy/paste the lines into new layers until they look darker.

I'm not too expensive. Think about it - $2.50 US translates into about 5000 gold (the approximate value of a sealed letter). In a non-Gaia situation, my art would go for more than $10... that's 20,000 gold. And that'd be for a relatively quick one, not one that I poured hours and hours into. Come on... think about it. How much would you pay in REAL money for something like this: I am not, I repeat, am NOT overpriced. I'd probably pay at least $30 for a picture like that. That's... oh, 60K in Gaia gold. You're getting a deal. But on the subject of the picture itself, those are my two KotOR 2 characters... you've seen Maraz already, but Sorani is new. Yes, he's supposed to be leering, and yes, his eyes are supposed to lack highlights. (Larger image here.)

You're getting a deal. I'd pay nothign for that picture. It would cost me more than four months of time. Its too friggen expensive, plain and simple. I buy my donation letters from others. I dont' have REAL cash. If we all were wealthy like that, then I'd be more sympathetic. But you simply base your prices on the idea that everyone actually has 20k lying around for a simple headshot. I don't have 20000 gold to pay for a picture that shows little action to it. A head shot, not even leondardo da vinci's paintings are worth that much to me. You are expensive. Besides your premades (which is about all I can afford), I find that everything else is easily 10 times that price, if not more... as in economics terms, 10,000 dollars to bill gates is pocketcash, but to me, its more than a month's salary. So yes, you are expensive. How is anyoen supposed to come up with 20k a month by posting, pollwhoring, fishing, and gambling combined? I can't. I've tried. It don't work.

Lucca your work is incredibly awesome. And, though in reality, and to most people, its not very expensive, those of us who don't donate to Gaia or can't donate to Gaia, don't really come into that much gold

Hey, are you guys still looking for an artist? A (Gaia) friend of mine, Rhina Gatewaye, is looking for work. She seems to be a pretty good artist. Her prices are also pretty good; for example, a full-body shot of an Avatar costs about a thousand gold. Her website is http://www.freewebs.com/rgwaz4ever/index.htm

I need a reliable artist, other than nospai, that can come up with art such as backgrounds and avatar edits.
And one who doesn't break GAT's bank account.

Cale Darksun does GAT need credits? I can donate some. At 247 some creds, I don't think he's really that rich. But donations aren't necessary. If only we could have access to guild funds... in a way other than buying a subforum...

No need. I was hoping the lottery would raise more funds, but 44 gold a week really will suck...
