"Uh oh," Brayden laughed, casting a glance back west to where the docks were, "Didn't know that fact, hope we didn't irritate them too much," he chuckled, following Kaya past the Pokecenter.
"So from here, its back to Jubilife, then, er, east to Oreburgh?" Brayden asked, "I'm not too familiar with Sinnoh unfortunately," he admitted, "I've only been here a handful of times, and most of those were for short trips where I pretty much wandered aimlessly," he laughed.

"According to this, we can go from here, past Jubilife, to Oreburgh and Mt. Coronet is just past there." he said as he traced the path on the map. "Or, the easier path, we could go to JUbilife, then head north to Floaroma, so you can get your item for evolving that Feebas you're after, then we head north from there to Eterna, and the base of the mountain is just to the east of there." he said as he traced that path, tapping the spot where Floaroma was to emphasize that it was an important stop if they took that route.
And cue his short attention span. "Hey! There's the jewelry store I got your ring and necklace from!"

Brayden nodded, understanding, "Yeah, it would have been hard to find another ship, even more so trying to find a ship who'd easily be willing to help us," he admitted with a shake of his head, before looking over Kaya's shoulder at the map, taking Mac back as the prince unrolled the paper. The young Phione finally woke, yawning before looking around. He hadn't been on land often, so he was definitely interested in what was going on in the town. First thing he spotted was a small heart-shaped scale on the ground. Instantly interested, Mac's ribbon glowed softly as he lifted it up from the ground with a couple of bubbles. Reaching out to touch the scale, he was surprised to find it vanish in a small flash of light. Confused as to what had happened, and also as to why he suddenly felt like he could jump high up into the air, Mac settled back into Brayden's arms, watching him and his lover.
"Mm, right," Brayden nodded, following Kaya's point to Floraroma on the map, "I'd forgotten Mt. Coronet connects to multiple cities," he admitted, "It definitely would be easier that way," he agreed with a nod, brushing the top of Mac's head, who cooed happily as he spoke.
At the mention of the store, Brayden smiled, but it faltered after a moment, "I still need to get you one," he murmured.

Kaya nodded in agreement to Brayden's remark. "I really didn't have much choice. I dun think Cye coudl have carried us all the way, and I really don't know if my portable exchange machine would have worked that far out again for me to have gotten Kiss back out." he admitted.
"Yeah, if I rememeber my geography correctly, Mt. Coronet divides Sinoh right down the middle, and following the Mountain's natural course is the only way to reach Snowpoint city without flying." he said as he showed Brayden the pathway on the map.
After a moment's pause, he let his shoulders drop and bit and sighed playfully. "It's ok Brayden. You really don't have to. I don't mind as long as you like your ring." he told the younger male with a loving smile.

Brayden nodded easily, "Quite true," he said with a small smile. He didn't really think Cye would have had any problem trying to carry the two over, but he really didn't want to rely on his friend constantly for transport.
Brayden leaned over the map as Kaya explained, nodding once more, "Makes sense why most of Sinnoh's mythology mentions the mountain," he reasoned, "It must play an important part for both the people and Pokemon in this region for a long, long time."
"And I love my ring," Brayden smiled tenderly. He really did hope he could save up enough money for a ring soon.

Brayden had already caught a Shellos ((NOT SLUGMA YAY)), so when the Gastrodon reared in front of him, he merely summoned Ariadne before him.
"Think you can introduce it to your Energy Ball?" he asked, knowing that the Gardevoir was probably still a little upset about the Shellos incident. Letting her blow off a bit of steam would probably be a good thing.
'My pleasure,' she grinned, holding her hands out before her, channeling her energy for a brief moment before a crackling orb of green light shot at the Gastrodon. One hit and the slug was down, Ariadne returning smugly to her Pokeball, feeling a bit better than before.
"Remind me never to get on your bad side," Brayden murmured, as Ariadne laughed in his head.
'Oh, believe me boss, you'll know if that happens,' she assured him. Which really didn't make him feel any relief.

Kaya nodded to Brayden's assumption. "That's right. If I remember correctly, right in here," he said as he pointed to a spot atop the moutain,"should be the Spear Pillar. It's like a giant alter, or a temple of sorts, where rituals were once held in honor of the Sinnoh region's Deities of Time and Space." he explained. "IT's the only place in the human world that that freely connect with the Hall of Origin, where Arceus lives." he added.
"So then, what say you to hitting Jubilife and heading to Floaroma?" he asked after a brief pause to give his lover a kiss, glad he liked the ring so much.

Brayden smiled, "Yeah, I've heard a little bit about that place, but it definitely sounds like an interesting area to explore," he admitted with a nod, "I don't know too much about the rituals, but I did learn a little about Spear Pillar. Dunno why, but I really like to explore places like that," he admitted with a slight smile, "I'm certainly no Ruin Maniac, but it is interesting to see the places that humanity has built and left behind over the centuries."
Brayden returned the kiss with a nod to his suggestion, "I'm definitely game," he smiled, calling Cye out of his Pokeball.
"You're welcome to join us," he offered to Kaya as he hopped on the Feraligatr's back in the shallows of the water route that led to Jubilife, "Although with your flight, you might stick to an airborne way of travel," he laughed.

Chloe spotted Canalave as the Wailord's Pride sped through the waves. Thankfully the trip had gone without a hitch. She decided to call Lantis back to his Pokeball, doing the same with Lilie after a moment, before calling out Saku.
"I'm gonna head on to Snowpoint," she explained to Vhan and the others, climbing up on the Salamence's back as Saku eased a few wingbeats from the side of the ship to clear the railing.
"I'm gonna see if I can beat Candace," she grinned, offering a salute, "After that, I might go train a bit, there are still some team members I need to raise a bit more," she elaborated.
"So I'll meet up with you once you make it there, good luck!" she grinned, before motioning to Saku. Thankfully the Salamence was a bit more steady on her new wings than before, as she took off, following Chloe's direction northward.
