Dopple-Demi: 37 - 5= 32
Damien: 48- 4= 44
Turn: [1] [2] [3] [4]
Dice: 2d10-6
FEARs: as usual
Autodamage: 4HP per turn

The battle was their own private tête-à-tête, the dopple went for a liver blow, the hound was dirtier, using elbows and knees to render a limb useless, bit by bit. Tactics that he could never use in public, but this was in an area with noone else around. Melas was free to do what he wished. The more violent part of him wanted that arm locked and disabled.

Damien was seeing stars with the padded cross to his temple. the light disorientating as the rolled backwards and shot up a rising knee at the ugly sweater wearers chin., propelling himself off the other foot. both were reeling and finding their senses and began to clash again. The dopple was a silent wall, compared to Damien's grunts and hisses and low mumbled curses.

The move took a lot in such a small amount of time, the dopple was already on the green boil, hammering away at his cheek and sides, volley after volley. It was without hesitation, going for the kill. Too low of get uppercutted, the dog pushed the copy away, feinting a knee to keep the distance as he planned a counter attack.

Kick meets punch. explosions happen. dolphins jump into the sky and rainbows shine. It was like one of Damien's Saturday morning shows.

He wasn't sure whether to be impressed that his clone was doing well against him or annoyed. Was it good or bad? Well, for sure it would be interesting, as it seemed to have all the same moves as him, and with the matching speed...

Tail slapping commenced, the noise making his heart ache for home unexpectedly. He half expected interlopers to interrupt them and make it turn into an all out brawl instead of just a duel.

"I am Wrex!" he bellowed at the creature as they bashed skull helms, making him dizzy but no less determined.

"No, I am Wrex!" his opponent argued.

"NUH!"

"YUH!"

How dare it. Snarling, the boil tried to sink his teeth into it just to get it to shut up, which worked about as well as he had hoped--that is, not very well at all, given that it was now chewing on his neck.

It was slowly becoming apparent, however, that the fake Wrex seemed to have a better grasp of fighting than he did. Or at the very least, it was more accurate. When he tried to lunge at it, it hopped to the side and then barreled him over, trying to force them into a wrestling match while he was stuck on his back.

Was Brute able to see? Was anyone? This was embarrassing, and it was worse seeing the leering smirk on his own dang face above him.

The next jab to his face was met with a strike on his forehead, the tough part stopping the strike and leaving the dopple with wide green eyes. They were as wide as the opening in his defense. The kick was sudden, low and another on the other side, giving the leg a matching welt. Damien was going to make him not move. it was a strange thing to say that about yourself.

Now the clone was starting to make things a little too even for his tastes. Wrex was starting to feel a little like this was too close to home: the only thing missing now were the cheers and jeers. Always scraping to prove himself, always a step behind Brute.

The competition wasn't fun anymore. Now it was just as it always was: another test to prove he mattered.

The damage was starting to show on both sides. Legs that didnt move as far as before, swelling and soreness that was easy to see in the harsh, unforgiving light. The battle was going on for too long for his own tastes. Too much sustained damage and he was sure to fall to a well timed punch. That would not do. The next wayward jab was met with the elbow being brought down on the dopples wrist. Finally it made a sound of disapproval, loud and bitter as he shuffled backwards.

The distance was just right. It was time to end this.

Weak, weak, weak. Wrex glared daggers at both himself and the clone, which was a little surreal to be honest. A few choice curses left him as they continued to fight.

Should he use his Fear? It could save him some strength if he was precise, but it wasn't time he had, he figured. The clone was sensing he was moving more on the defensive, a mistake that was costing him. His clan would be shaking their heads at him for showing weakness like this, but what could he do? He wasn't Brute, he didn't have a strong Fear.

He was starting to wonder if he really had a strong anything.

Damn it, he wasn't going to down without a fight! When the imposter got too close, Wrex viciously kicked a foot out and raked his claws down until it had the sense to back off.

"I am Wrex," the boil snarled, fingers curling into fists. "I am Daggerback Wrex."

But his brief rebellion was put down in the next bout. He was starting to tire, which only fueled his rage more. Why couldn't he win this? Why did this too have to upset him after a series of already unfortunate events?

- except no, there was need of more dramatic tension.

"YOU CANT DEFEAT ME, DOPPLE PUP!" Damien shouted, gathering all the bravery into his foot.
