Prompt Answer: Talking to people was not Zillah's strong suit. She always seemed to come off as...something people didn't like. No one wanted to talk to her, and she didn't have any friends...let alone friends who would let her interview them.

Prompt Answer: Oh, wait! She could interview her brother! Was that cheating? Hopefully not, since he was the only one who was going to talk to her. She asked Iah a bunch of news related questions, some she just made up on the fly since she wasn't quite current with the news at the moment.

Entry: Taffy twirled her pencil in her claws as she watched the video. It wasn’t like it was a bad video, but she much preferred when Ms. Lyra taught them. It was a change of pace though; at least it was better than all of those exams. She shuddered at the thought, but turned her attention back to the movie. She really liked some of the characters and their animated expressions, but she felt like she knew most of what the video was teaching them. Her nose scrunched at some of the weird words they used. Abstract nouns? She would have to ask Ms. Lyra later…

Entry: Pyxi gently yawned as she watched the movie. With her head resting in her hand, her notes were lagging a bit behind the video, but that was normal. She would have to talk to her mama, she kept being really tired and dozing off… but she would make it through this movie, she was determined.
She felt like she could speak well, but she wasn’t really good at writing sometimes. Hopefully if she could stay awake and take good notes through the movie, it would be a good start to getting her grades up and writing better. It was good to have goals, but she would just need to get through this… At least it was a fun movie.

Entry: As the video played in the darkened classroom, Miela felt her eyelids drooping. It was a rather warm day and she'd just eaten, so the combination of comfort and a full belly and the dimmed lights was almost enough to lull her to sleep. Thankfully the videos was at least entertaining, and she knew it was important. Widening her eyes to keep them open, she watched as two of the characters interacted on the screen. She'd probably have to ask her caretaker or Lyra for clarification later, but at least she was awake! She felt that she knew how to speak fairly well after all, even without knowing the specific types of words. She knew, however, that verb tenses and proper versus normal nouns might get a bit confusing...

Entry: For once in the class, Nyx felt completely at ease. The darkness helped him focus on the glowing screen as the video played, and he was eager to learn. He took notes as best he could while keeping up with the scenes, but knew he would probably have to ask for more explanation later. It didn't seem too difficult. Proper nouns were names or substitutes for names. Verb tenses, however... He understood past, present, and future, but the actual forms had the potential to be a bit tricky. He was determined, however, to practice and learn.

Entry: Jeanette was excited to be watching a video. Even though she loved reading, writing was not quite her forte, and Language Arts always had her so confused with all the spelling and the grammar and the punctuation. She was happy to sit and stare at the screen, nibbling on a snack she had brought to class while watching a video with a bit of a story to it. She couldn't complain one bit!

Entry: Whenever they watched a video in a class that wasn't science class, Annie became impatient. He didn't care much for people playing out stories and even for videos that were supposed to be "educational." If anything, if they were going to be doing nothing for a class period, he wished he could at least bring Mavis to class to keep him company. While the video played, he doodled on his paper, trying to pay attention as best he could while not actually paying attention.

Username: Embi-lamb Nightmare: Wednesday Entry:  Wednesday was slumped against her desk, watching as the video drawled on and on about verbs and nouns. Wednesday almost preferred all the tests over this nonsense. She could feel the cells in her brain slowly dying from lack of stimulation, and the hybrid drooped sleepily in her chair. As much as she might detest the video, she wasn't one to like falling asleep in class. She had to stay on top, over the rest of her classmates. She needed to be a good student. But her eyes drooped and sagged, and it became increasingly hard to keep her attentions on the film. She kept pinching herself randomly and jerking her knee out from under her desk to try and rouse herself. The hybrid was more than thankful when the movie was finally over, and she managed to stay awake for the entire length of the film.

 Username: One Little Jay Nightmare: Amie Entry: Amie was so excited to watch a video there had been so many tests and all she had to do was sit there and watch something. Sure it wasn't fun to watch and it was still educational but it was a movie! It was something that she didn't have to actively participate in and that was her favorite thing of all. She didn't even have to take notes, and the video was pretty cute. They had little verb people explaining what it was that they were doing while it was silly Amie still enjoyed it a lot.

 Username: One Little Jay Nightmare: Cotty Entry:Cotty frowned when she heard they would be watching a movie. It wasn't so much that she hated movies but she knew that it would be boring. Sure enough like a lot of the class Cotty was soon dozing off, every once in a while she would flutter her wings to attempt to wake herself up more but it didn't really seem to be working. She thought it was pretty boring and stupid, they had attempted to make it kid friendly but to her the characters were just silly and she couldn't really pay attention to what was happening.

Entry: "Watching movies is always fun," Ona commented, mostly to herself, before them movie had actually begun. Even something as simple as an educational video was enjoyable to the young Naiad, for she could appreciate movie-making. It was an art, after all, just like painting or sculpting was a type of art. Onaona loved art of all different types. Even what the movie was about -- nouns and verbs -- was a subject that could be turned into an art form. Writing was art, too. People could become famous for writing, and it all started with nouns and verbs. Placing her head in the palm of her hand, Ona also rested her elbow on her desk. She then proceeded to engross herself in the movie. Perhaps she'd learn something she didn't already know?
