Glowering at the complete stranger that would dare to place his filthy hands upon her until he was out of sight around a twisting corner of the stairs, the woman sighed to herself and turned, gazing around the room once more. She decided that it was probably a good time to get moving again, and set off, her strength waning but not enough to hold her back any longer.
Up more stairs she climbed, twisting, turning, her steps as light as she could make them though it didn't seem to stop the rumbling as the walls shifted around her. It certainly did nothing to halt the rock and debris that continued to rain down around her, bruising and scraping against her flesh. Up and up she went, until something was thrust out towards her and she stopped, eyes wide, taking two steps back down the stairs and holding her own dagger up in defense.
Only to see it was Kiwi, a dear comrade of hers. "Good to see you, friend. And do not fret, this tower has set me on edge as well."She nodded to him, and continued her way on up, determined to get as much as she could safely collect.
Here and their small tokens were collected, shards of artifacts, items small enough to carry and add to what she had already found for her kingdom.
after a lot of climbing, and a lot of gathering, and a lot of falling objects taking its toll on her, she finally stopped for another rest.

Sammy had no issues with the ruined tower, she followed after Nuk still ready with her gun should anything aproach, though in all reality it seemed like nothing would attack them in this empty area. All that was left where dust and ruins, not even a member of the silver court with them to recall memories of this place.
"Could have been a nice place," she mused to Nuk as she slowly holstered her gun. She was sure nothing would attack in this place. "I kind of like the quiet. Not that I dislike our Kingdom, but it's not something I've ever really had a chance to enjoy..." Nuk knew about her sleeping issues, even he could pick up on that. Though the riddle before them? 'One is less then Five' That was something he might not.
"Hell if I know what that means yet, it sounds like its part of some number sequence pattern." Moving along she followed Nuk at a safe distance letting the shapeshifter take the lead. For a while they seemed to be doing fine till a stone from above cracked loose.
"Nuk ********!" She stumbled backwards on her steps, the rock was coming down between them! She didn't have time to clear the stone and going back was her only option that is it would have been until the stone smashed through the wood flooring and took the chunk Sammy was standing on with it.
The fall was not a simple one, the floor crashed a series of shelves, a scafolding, another floor and finally dropped Sammy easily two and a half floors away, thankfully the random objects between her and her landing had slowed the fall resulting in little damage other then a longer walk ahead of her.
"N-Nuk?" She quickly pulled out her phone calling up to the other Blue Kingdom pawn. "Nuk. I think I'm stuck down here, I'll look for more of those clues or a way to get back up but the floor above me is too far to just climb up, and it would take too long to get a pile of rubble safe enough to climb. I'll try to find some other stairs. If you find another clue text them to me. See you later Mutt."
Hanging up her phone she moved on, it seemed where she ended up was some kind of lab. Bottles and vials of every size lined the room. Most of them lay empty or shattered where they fell in the chaos that swept the kingdom in its last few days. No clues jumped out at her but two things did stand out. Sitting on a lone table, encased in glass where two objects, one a vial of glowing miasma, a faint fog like substance that seemed to change from silver to blue as she stepped closer.
"Son of a b***h.... this is it, this is what we needed..." She reached the case hands shaking slightly as she lifted the cover placing it aside before taking the vial. Just beside it on a small cushion was a rusted key as well. Maybe it opened a door to a way out?
Grabbing the key as well she tucked both into her jacket in a hidden padded pocket for safe keeping before moving onward. Sadly she didn't find a stairwell up, only empty halls and dark rooms, at least till she stopped at a glowing archway filled with Silver light. "The fu...." she stopped in her tracks, watching the strange fog closely. For a while it was just that; fog and silver before she faintly made out something on the other side, something that looked oddly like Rep with Tracey and Mass.
Wit a shrug she stepped into the light suddenly finding herself standing across from Rep snacking on a twinkie before stumbling to the side a bit. When she turned around, there was no portal, no lab, nothing. She looked back at Rep, Tracey, and Mass with a raised eyebrow.
"...Did you find some weird ******** portal that took you here too?"

Mjoll took up her courage as she walked towards the flight of stairs and looked up, craning her neck back as she glanced upwards. This was going to be a long walk. Good thing she brought her good boots.
When she started walking she paused glancing a few stairs up and noticed there was something there. When Mjoll got where she could pick it up she stared at the rusted key. She best keep that for later -- maybe she could clean it up and use it with one of her outfits! Things were looking okay as she moved, occasionally having to dodge falling debris but getting hit twice, once on the arm and another pinged off the top of her head. "ACK!"

Joachim followed the smaller girl, the others seemed to disappear heading in their own directions as they got closer to the silver tower. It was dismal, and rather depressing considering it lacked the odd color of violet that he had grown familiar to.
He merely nodded to Agsil, going up. He thought to himself, what had happened if he had once been afraid of heights, as if something in one of this locked away memories hid the idea that he was actually quite fond of staying on the ground.
Well it was a good thing he couldn't remember it.

Aezeloth let out a sigh of relief when Amarus came around the corner, and couldn't help but smile for a moment at the suggestion of rest. "Aye, I could use a break for a moment," he said, his eyes casting about the shadows as he rubbed his shoulder.
"If I ever see that git that attacked me again - I will end him," he growled as he sat lightly on the crumbling stair, testing it with his good arm before he sat to ensure he didn't fall to his death.
"How goes your hunt?" He said with a chuckle, flashing her the small artifact he'd found. "I've found this and a few small things so far."

Uru had follow Maple through to... somewhere. He was not prepared to meet the king at his current state and he had some slight concern for the shadow that aided him in his time of need. Luckily, this time, he landed on his feet in this new place. Glancing around with yellow and blue eyes, he realized that this new place was not new. The ground has changed. The sky has changed. The Kingdom had changed. Even now the large Silver Tower still stood upon the horizon. His former home was a chaotic nightmare of suffering and destruction. His heart sunk as he looked around as he walked through the marketplace.
"Market Day. We didn't trade for this." He spoke under his breath as he looked at tattered cloth, crushed stalls, products strewn across the ground. This was once a lively, colorful place and now the life was drained out of it. This was not what they traded for.

This time, Taima knew what to expect when she fell through the portal. That didn't make it hurt any less. If anything, the frustration of having repeated a mistake stung more than the scrapes and bruises she was sure to have when she left this tower and the entire damned kingdom behind her, which she had every intention of doing once she could stand up.

Erintis looked around the tower it seemed normal enough but then again nothing really did look right when it came to the other kingdoms. The sign of the silver crown was embossed over doorways, carved into walls and furniture, written on the covers and scattered pages of books. This wasn't anything unusual. The blue crown was everywhere in the casino. Jordan wondered sometimes how the symbol had come into being, precise and spiky, with its hidden crescents and even arch of points. Maybe the Voice had decreed the shape of the crowns.
Maybe that was significant.
"I found more writing," Ferros pointed out as they navigated a staircase, moving through wisps of Miasma that clung to their own blue and dodging bits of falling ceiling. "Here." He crouched to indicate a line of lettering glinting from the riser of a step. "Five is less than infinity."
Jordan paused. "One is less than five, and five is less than infinity," he repeated. "Maybe we'll find another one. It could be a pattern." A sharp piece of stone cracked from the ceiling and hit his shoulder, and he winced. "Ow. This place isn't structurally sound."
A door hung askew at the top of the stairs, and something swirled behind it. "Hey," Ferros nodded at it. "Is that a portal?"

Bastion walked right past the next riddle without even looking at it. In fact, he so strongly chose not to look at it, that he almost looked at it out of spite. But nothing changed. Every single floor he managed to climb up on left him with another bump on his head. A brick, a piece of rubble, or even a shard of something sharp would fall without fail, landing squarely on him until his steps were nothing short of stumbles. He was used to stumbling around drunkenly, however. The blood loss, the hazy feeling, these were old friends to him. He actually felt better, now that he couldn't think very hard.
Even as tiny monsters nipped at him, tearing his flesh as they passed, he seemed resigned to his fate. If the only way he was going to be released from this hell of a life was by slow torture, well..
It would be over, eventually.
He heard the scream several floors below, and turned heavy lidded eyes down to look at the cause of it. They snapped open when he saw that braid of hair, the color of sunshine lighting up the dark and dingy tower. Physical torture, he could take. But this? THIS?
He couldn't even take the time to seethe in anger over his bad luck. She was taking just as much damage as him, and suddenly, that was unacceptable. "OI." He cried out, down through the stairs. "COVER YOUR HEAD, IDIOT!" Cover that beautiful, perfect head, because he couldn't get down to her fast enough to cover it for her.

Sun had taken the opportunity of a small landing to rest and listen to the groan of the tortured architecture. She was distracted by a particularly noisy shower of stone that went clattering down the stairs, and didn't notice the groaning beneath her feet until the floor gave way.
For the second time that day, Sun found herself stair sledding. This time she was riding a shifting mass of broken wood. She managed to avoid falling, or even hurting herself, but the wild ride brought her all the way back to the entrance.
The Sun dusted herself off and looked around in a bemused sort of way. Seems she'd gotten her 'Again', after all. She turned around and started right back up the stairs.
The first five floors went much more smoothly this time, at least. She knew where to look for trouble, and side stepped most of it. A few stray pieces of rubble still managed to give her a few more bruises.
