The shoreline was getting that much closer. Just one more good rown would get him there. No doubt Masaraku was finally happy that they were almost there. Tenshi felt kind of bad that it was his fault that they weren't there already. She had her flukes in the beginning, but she pulled her own. Tenshi on the other hand was a miserable failure half the time. He had hoped to earn some sort of recognition in her eye now. After all they were together in this and he didn't want to seem like dead weight who couldn't row a boat. He hoped to someday be able to kill a boar with a single blow like she did.

The canoe was hitting some tough terrain of swamp mud. The closer they got the harder it was to get through. Which made sense because the water was getting shallower. He gave it all he could and soon he felt the thud as the canoe went on shore. He dropped his oar in the canoe and jumped out immediately. "Ha! Take that swamp murk! You had me going there for a minute but guess who pulled through? This guy!" He had enough of the swamp. He wanted to see this stadium now that he went through all that trouble to get here. He was scared, sure, but he didn't come all this way just to want to go back home. He looked up at Masaraku and cleared his throat, "Sorry for that outburst and for taking so long to get here."

(OOC: So originally I had two more trainings before the fight, but seeing as everyone wants the fight, LETS GO!)

Masa just stared at Tenshi for a moment before saying, "Yay for you ..." They had arrived there just after Batsu and the student girl. And some thime after that Keon and Shinzu had caught up. She motioned for them to follow and lead them through the marsh. They arrived at the stadium some 10 minutes later and the doors, which were normally sealed tight and boarded up, were wide open. A dense red fog lined the bottom of the arena, and as the group entered the temperature seemed to drop more and more as they drew closer to the center.

Thats when the sounds started. The chattering of puppets, the yells of distant spirits, and the sound of chains being dragged on stone began to resonate through the arena, then SLAM! The doors shut and lightning fired from the sky, an image of two figures appeared, but vanished just as soon. The maniacal laughter returned. As well as a little girls voice.

"The Itsy Bitsy Genin, Fell down the water spout.
In came the blood and brought the spirits out.
Up came the sun, and scared the spooks away,
And the itsy bitsy genin never woke again."


A girl of about ten skipped through the arena as the song finished, pulling a wagon. She phased right through them and into a wall. The light rain that had been coming down all night became harder. Those who watched could see it routing to a drain near where the girl had skipped into, the grate could easily be moved and a person could climb inside.

The rim of the grate was covered in the brown stains of old blood. Above it, words began to etch into the stone "Welcome" The word filled with blood that was washed by the rain into the words, "To Hell." Another flash of lightning as the brothers appeared beside the grate and vanished again as the lightning faded. Then came the screams of the little girl.

Masa looked at the others, even she was a little shaken. Did they all still want to do this?

As witnessing the little girl and then the writing on the wall, Shinzu seriously question the brilliance of staying here. He got a bad feeling that at this point they wouldn't be able to leave if they tried. "I get the feeling we won't be able to leave, not yet at least..." Shinzu said, letting his thoughts be known. He still looked to the others maybe they knew some kind of way out. Shinzu was scared, not that he would, or even felt he could, admit it.

She could have at least showed a little more enthusiasm for his accomplishment, but whatever, at least he was proud of it. The walk was long, but they got to the stadium and he wasn't expecting what he saw. The red mist was enough to freak him out and yet he followed them in. The little girl singing the little rhyme was enough to put anyone on edge and the fact she disappeared through a wall! The writing on the wall above the grate washed away to reveal the second part of the greeting. Masaraku gave a look as if they really wanted to be there. Tenshi's clothes were already a mess and he was scared out of his wits, why would he turn back now? The ghosts had appeared before them several times and he was going to learn more about this place first hand. How many people could say that? Not to mention the reward that would be there for him after dealing with the ghosties. He nodded his head to her saying that he was as ready as he was going to be going into this.

He had been hoping to see something scary all night and as the events unfolded before him he couldn't help but feel like he was somehow getting in a bit over his head. However nothing would stop him from fighting, besides death, Which was almost certain at this point.

It was about damn time everyone showed up to the other side of the swamp.He waited ever so impatiently as they all climbed up onto solid ground and he immediately jumped to the back of the pack. After all, this was all Masaraku's little quest, so she should be in the forefront. As he did, though, he pulled his bow out once again and also made sure he had his bag with him. More likely than not, he was gonna need both.

As the small squad of Shinobi stood there staring at the grate, something began to happen. It was subtle enough at first,[1] but as time went by it became apparent that the ground was lifting behind them and beginning to slope.[2] Higher and higher it went [3] until finally it was completely undeniable[4] and the angle of the slope began to curve inward and funnel [5] until all of the shinobi fell into the grate. [6]

The grate was like a large chute, and at the bottom was a dark room that smelled of sewage and mold. [7] The air here was thick with the dust of the ages, and the soundwaves carried the hisses of sea snakes and rats, who's home had been disturbed.[8][9] The darkness lifted slowly as the two brothers appeared from the middle of the room. The larger of the two had a missing eye, that was replaced by a burning blue flame, the smaller one was crouched on the ground, unrolling a scroll, as he looked up, his open ribcage was revealed, a burning flame lay where his heart once had been. Both brothers had blood stained clothing and faces, brown hair, and patchy facial hair growth. They were different in height, one of them was roughly 6'2, the other only 5'8, but they wore flak jackets and torn pants, without shoes. Their fingers and toes resembled claws, their teeth were fang-like, and the larger one appeared to be foaming at the mouth.[10]

All in all these guys were horrifying. And as the room lit up a bit more via mysterious blue flames in the corners, it became obvious to the group that there was no escape. Metal doors blocked the exits. It would take both Masa and Shinzu to even hope of opening them, and that also meant leaving somebody behind to hold the door.

The smaller brother began pulling out weapons from his scroll and stacking them before him. A bow, arrows, kunai, senbon, shuriken, fuma shuriken, Kusarigama, surely he couldn't use them all at once?

Masa looked at the others and said, "Somebody has to go first." The subtle lift in the ground did not really set in at this point, but she looked at the others for a moment and said, "Fine." By this time the arena was at a decent incline and she fell due to imbalance In no time she was sliding into the grate and sliding down a tube. When it finally dumped her out she rolled out of the way for the others to not land on top of her and got up.

It was unbelievably dark here, that is, it was dark until the ghost brothers appeared. She was terrified now, but not to terrified to fight, but the two brothers were scary, and they were in her head ... horrifying zombie-like men. It didn't mean that she wouldn't attack them, she was intimidated by them, but not afraid of them. She attacked the one that was summoning weapons. He seemed the easiest to take down due to his weakened frame. She landed two hits on him, but the man didn't even notice.

The incline began to rise. At first it was no problem trying to avoid it and then he faultered as it increased more until it was no use. He slipped and slid through the grate following Masaraku. The smell of vulgar and nauseating, he couldn't hold back the bile that was building up. He heaved and last night's dinner found it's way into the muck below him. The way it had all been unfolding was putting him into cardiac arrest. He could feel his heart pounding through his chest and then... the ghosts came.

Shaking in fear their appearance was intimidating, though the larger one didn't seem to through Tenshi off it was the smaller. The way he was standing with his heart ripped out, the eyes glaring at them, and the fact that he had so many weapons at his disposal and Tenshi knew he was skilled in every single one. He could feel his feet tremble at the sight of him. Tenshi decided it was best to stay away from the smaller and perhaps attack the larger one, though he feared the worst outcome... death... and he could find no words.

Batsu casually waited up until heard a lot of rumbling going on.The boy then saw the ground opening up from under him. His reflexes kicked up into high gear and he started hopping from side to side trying to avoid everything. He was doing really well, but eventually, he succumbed to the huge and growing gaps in the earth. He fell for what seemed like forever, screaming the whole way down. Once he hit the bottom he was met by a damn near unbearable smell. The boy damn near vomited, but he held it down... barely. The boy then looked around to survey the area. Much to his dismay, he saw two apparitions floating around. The boy knees ended up locking up and he couldn't do anything but stare.

"Whoa!" Shinzu said as the ground began to move all around them and sloped, forcing them towards a grate. For a little bit Shinzu was able to keep himself from sliding very far, but he accidently stepped on a piece of moss and sliding down he went. The first thing he noticed was the aweful putrid smell, but he was able to keep his lunch from reappearing, though barely. The suddeness of it all started to get to Shinzu and he could feel himself hesitate slightly as he prepared to fight. Fight he did however, he grabbed his Aian Nakku and launched himself at the one unloading his weapon. "Dynamic Entry!" Shinzu yelled as he wondered, what fool would waste his time like that? Mere moments after launching Dynamic Entry, Shinzu spun in the air, aiming a kick right at Rango's head. Shinzu's attacks didn't come from proper planning, he was just too intimidated by Dango.
