Khairi grinned and shook wet tendrils of hair out of his eyes. He'd caught his breath easily enough, but it had been a while since he'd gone on a run like that. Much less a race.
"It was fun, I'll admit." The blue stallion waded deeper into the stream until it was just over his haunches. The water was refreshinly cool and despite their rough entrance, still fairly clear. "You're quick, Rahu."

Rahu gave a cocky smirk. " thanks, your pretty quick yourself. and mind i dont say complemints to anyone." having now caught his breath, he shook his mane again. he was thursty from the run and decided to grab a drink. it felt good to have had a good run and a nice drink now.

The sun was out, but the misty woods gave everything around them a dream-like quality. Khairi stretched in the water and took a long drink, savoring the taste of the cool liquid.
"I should probably get going. It's getting late and I'd like to at least make it partway to the mountains before dusk." He'd seen mountain lions in the foothills and was wary of coming in after nightfall. It wasn't that he was afraid for his life, but he didn't want to attract the predators to Ohanzee either. Those two-leggers could be so frail...
"And thanks for the compliment." Khairi grinned and stepped out of the stream. Water rolled off his sleek hide and left a damp trail on the earth. "I'll see you around."
The blue stallion bowed his head once and then turned on his heal and broke into an easy, ground-eating lope. It was a long way back to the teepee.

Rahu gave a nod to Khairi. " yes i should do the same. and i shall see you around." geting one last drink, he then went on his way to where he usualy slept most of the time.

Draculas Babe ooc: :knew you were going to make me start: gonk
Cynara's ebony coat glistened in the afternoon sun. Her orbs glancing around cautiously for anything she could pounce on maybe. The mare was so enthusiastic and bouncy these last few days and she didn't know or understand why. She gazed upon the lake she soon had arrived upon and her neck arched her muzzle dipped into its waters to soothe her parched throat. samus x (( xD hehehehhehe figures you would )) Rahu had been out running and decided to get a drink after all that running. Snorting he arrived at the lake and looking about he noticed a mare there. She seemed oddly familiar though, and he just shrugged that thought away. Paying no mind to the mare, he went to the edge of the water for a drink of water. Draculas Babe Cynara scented another coming she could feel that one's hooves clash with the ground from beneath her, such anger such fear? She finished her drink and looked up at the stallion it was that one. "You?" she question. She almost fell into the water stunned. samus x Rahu snorted and eyed the mare. ?What do you mean, you? I believe I never have seen you before.? Little did he know she was the one foal he had met a while back. Glaring, he wondered why the mare blurted that the minute she saw him. Flicking his tail, he went back to getting his drink that had been stopped by the mare. Draculas Babe "As in you, the one who thought he was hot stuff by picking on me as a filly." she glared right back to him and snorted as he did. Her tail flickered angerly he couldn't even remember the ones he picked on, she was now seeing that he was overly pathetic. samus x Rahu lifted his head and smirked. ?Ah yes the smart mouth. Did not recognize, you since well your older now. Plus why bother remembering a smart mouth I had no intention of running into again.? He could tell she was mad at him and tossed his mane. ?Now what do you want.? Draculas Babe "Nothing that has to do whom is dim and feeble as yourself." she retorted. She went back to drinking her emerald eyes glared again. "And my smart mouth is smarter than any of your brain can comprehend." She was slowly getting disgusted with him however it wasn't as bad as their first meet.
((I don't mind. <3 Buffy can join aswell if she likes?)) samus x ?Oh really now, and I do think what I meant by smart mouth as in a back talker. Though I have to say you?re not much of one right now.? He still had that smug smirk on his face, and found her amusing but annoying at the same time. Snorting he got another drink, before looking about. " i'd love to stay and chat with you but i must be going." turning and walking away, he did not notice anyone came through after he left. (( gonk i gotta go so i'll have Rahu leave))

Nel_Zelpher_2005 Rain in the forest. There was a strangely tranquil sound to it, even as the leaves rustled in the wind, occasionally torn free to flutter down to the ground. Helaku's hoofsteps were slow as he traversed through his home, and they lacked most of their usual lightness. His neck still had a proud arch, but it was through defiance rather than a sense of self-worth. After all, he had not even yet told his father that he had had a mate...and lost her to his own stupidity. What was a stallion like that worth? Mares liked him as a friend, yes...but he had rejected one that could have been better to pursue the one who had abandoned him. And now she was lost, mated to another. His own fault, that one. Not like the first he had thought to have feelings for. He shook his head, gold eyes clouded with doubtful thoughts. (Tossing this out there in case anyone wants to jump in...) samus x (( this post for Nel xD )) Rahu snorted as he was thinking of his last meeting with Aruna. It left him thinking of things he never would have if he had not met her. She was the only one able to soften him up and he had mixed feelings over it. In deep thought, he did not realize he was walking past Helaku, who he had not seen in quite a while. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki ((Nel, I'm agonna throw Aruna at you now. XD
Aruna still doesn't have a mate, but me and samus are having discussions, though the issue is really weird. XD))Aruna trotted through the rain wetted forest as she thought back to her last meeting with Rahu. It had actually gone well, for once. How... interesting. Well, he was a friend, and she felt slightly special that he was friendly only with her, but she would never say that, never aloud. As she trotted, she noticed a stallion who looked deep in thought, but the way he moved showed he was defying. Hmmmm... he kind of reminded her of someone she knew very well. Sort of. "Hello?" she called out to him softly. JadeEye Speak of the devil. It seemed that Ilianna was out and about today and in the best spirits ever, and she wasn't alone, which was odd. Normally the tiger mare was loathe to really socialize, but she had found courage, thanks to Eachann, and tried to spend some time every day wandering the meadows. Not many days ago, the mare had run into a mare that was as equally beautiful as herself who appeared lost. Together they had spent many hours chatting and it was soon learned that this mare was more than just a random stranger; this was her half-sister! It wasn't all that surprising, given the common black and white striping they both shared. She, however, hadn't known that her mother had found another stallion to love after the accidental death of her father. Ilianna was overjoyed, yet also saddened to be so out of the loop of her own family. They now spent a great deal of time together in the meadows and today was no exception. Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku snorted slightly and tensed as his head whipped around to face first Aruna, then Rahu. He'd heard rumors that the two seemed remarkably friendly with each other...well. He wouldn't have thought it about Rahu, who seemed to think most mares weak and pitiful creatures. Helaku disagreed...they were strong enough to break hearts. "Hello," he greeted, a slightly guarded note to his tone. "It's been a while, Rahu. And," he nodded to Aruna, "You are Hania's daughter Aruna, are you not?" Then his ears pricked in astonished surprise as he saw yet two more Soquili. One was unmistakibly Ilianna, while the other was a striking blue, black, and white mare. "Greetings to you as well," he called. ((Oh lord, Phantom of the Opera's playing right now. XD)) samus x Rahu stopped and turned blinking at Helaku. ?Oh its you Helaku, and it has been a while.? He then smirked. ?You seem on guard today.? His smirk went away as he said Aruna and truned to see her right there. ?What are you doing here Aruna? Must we always run into each other.? Shaking is head, just when he thought he had been able to get away. and then he saw Ilianna with some other mare and ignored them. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Aruna blinked. "Wha... How did you know? But yes, I am his daughter." But just as she asked, she then saw Rahu, when the stallion addressed her. Eeesh. They encountered on far too many occasions. Someone up there was loving it, she knew. "Well!" She said, blinking in surprise. "If we keep running into each like this, Rahu, Lady Fate must be indicating something. But we're just friends, right?" She shook her head, trying to get her mane dry. She had gotten a bit wet from walking through her forest home.((@Jade: <3 Cool! Aruna gets to meet up with another friend again. Sweet! XD

JadeEye "Seems to be quite the gathering place," the strange blue, black, and white mare commented cheerfully as the pair stepped through the tall grass at a leisurely trot, heading no where in particular. She had her head turned and spotted a small group just a ways away. "Whatever do you mean, Olathe?" Ilianna turned her neck to glance in the same direction as the budgie-marked female and noticed the grouping. She was also surprised to see that she recognized ALL of the assembled and was pleasantly surprised to see Helaku was there. She hadn't seen him in what felt like ages; ever since he'd taken up with that one mare, she'd never seen him out. Even Rahu couldn't ruin her good mood, even though she did see him there also. "Oh, lets go say hi. I do know them all." Olathe had turned away to trot towards the group before Ilianna had even expressed interest so Ilianna had to pick up the pace a bit to catch up. As they came upon the group, Ilianna took the front and called out. "Hello!" she said cheerily, even giving Rahu a polite nod. "Do you mind if we join you all?" Olathe gave all a smile, no sign of nervousness on her form at all. Draculas Babe Cynara's ears perked forward when she heard voices, a lot of them too. As she approached the group she recognized two of them, but one seemed oddly familar. "Hey Aruna!" she beamed. She completly ignored Rahu out of anger, she was still pissed at him and fiured she had a right to be.
ooc: *Tags back* Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku lifted his chin slightly, looking Rahu straight in the eye. Before he was able to reply though, Rahu had turned to Aruna. Shrugging off the surge of irritation that had come from Rahu's comment, he nodded politely to Aruna. "Word gets around." Then he turned to the boldly marked mare, dipping his head slightly. Her boldness of personality was charming, but he armored himself against such. He would not let his heart be broken again. While a corner of his mind gibbered to refuse before she found a way around his barriers, he could not do so without appearing a weak, cowardly oaf of the worst sort. "No, I don't mind," he managed. He nodded to Ilianna and the other young mare as well, hoping perhaps the gathering would keep any one of the females from getting too close. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Aruna blinked when she heard a familiar voice. "Illianna?" she questioned. It had been a long time since she had seen that mare. And she had brought a friend, too. She blinked again as another familiar voice called out. "Cynara!" she called back cheerfully, though her expression remained stoic. "How are you?" This was an amazing gathering of Soquili. She began to feel slightly nervous. She wasn't one to stick with crowds, but since there were a few of her friends there, she decided she would have to stay. After all, it was polite, and her father had always wanted her to be kind to her friends. She turned to the stallion Rahu had called Helaku. "You look troubled," she whispered, golden eyes watching him sternly. She could pick up quite a few things; hanging around Rahu had taught her to be quite sharp. samus x Rahu snorted. " seems smart mouth over there has found me yet again. and Illianna you do as you please." he hated being in a crowd, cause he was most anti-social. flicking his tail he did not know wether to leave or stay. the only reason now he stayed was he was bored and felt he need to bug someone rather than be nice. Draculas Babe Cynara nudge Aruna playfully, "I'm good, thanks for askin'." She was about to ask how she was doing when she realized she was staring at Helaku. "I'm sorry, you look familiar." she smiled warmly. "I'm Cynara, as you could briefly tell." She glared at Rahu and ignored him, her head held high so she would prove that he wasn't demeaning her anyway. She was stubborn hich could get her into trouble at some points. JadeEye Ilianna smiled. "Hello Aruna. It has been awhile, hasn't it? And Helaku, I haven't seen much of you either. You must be busy lately." The mare was still unware of the stallion's mare issues; she figured he was still happily mated. "And thank you, Rahu, I think I will take your advice and shall do as I please." The comment was delivered with surprising strength to her voice. Normally she'd never address the black stallion that way. Olathe cleared her throat and gave her half-sister an impatient bump with her muzzle. Ilianna chuckled a little and side-stepped to allow them a better view of the other mare. "This is my half sister Olathe. She is new and I was eager for her to meet some other soquili." The budgie female beamed to all and bowed her head a trifle. "A pleasure," she said calmly, though her eyes sparkled with energy. She was trying hard to remain nice and composed instead of flighty and hyper. Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku shook his head at Ilianna. "Not really...just...kinda out of it, I guess. Chu'mana left a while ago and I haven't really felt like socializing much since." Seeing the spark in Olathe's eyes, he trembled, fighting the screaming urge to run, bolt, flee before he got hurt. She reminded him so much of Chu'mana, only...no. Letting his thoughts wander that way would lead to only pain. He could not afford to do that, lest he be driven even deeper into a reclusive existence. "What might y-your name be?" he managed to greet her, stammering slightly. samus x Rahu eyed both Illianna. " seems your ahve changed a bit Illianna. and Helaku stop stammering and drooling over that mare." he nipped at Cynara. " and as for you, you should not ignore others. " giving a smirk, he could tell he was geting on Cynara's nerves from her glare at him. not even realizing it he ignored Aruna. Draculas Babe She snapped her muzzle inches from his face, "Take kindly to your own advice." Her chest heaved at him, he had a lot of guts she had to give him that but she could be just as a b***h as he could. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki ((BACK!))Aruna had remained quiet throughout the entire conversation, or mostly, all of them. She greeted Illianna, and then watched with amusement as Rahu and Cynara argued. She now spoke. "I knew you were popular Rahu, but I didn't realize how popular." She was teasing him slightly, but then shook her head, a bit exasperated. "What did he do to you, Cynara?" JadeEye The tiger mare smiled to Cyn and introduced herself with a simple "I'm Ilianna, a pleasure to meet you". It was always good to meet new people, wasn't it? However, her good mood didn't last. Helaku's explaination made Ilianna go wide-eyed and an expression of shock soon melded to one of friendly concern. From the way he talked, it wasn't the good sort of leaving. "Left...awhile ago?" she repeated as though trying to make sense of the comment. "Oh Helaku...I had no idea..." She searched his face for a sign of what she could do to make him feel better, but Rahu's comment surprised and irritated her, thus drawing her attention to the black stallion instead. She gave him a stern glare; no one messed with her friends without her taking offense. "I have changed, but I see you have not," she said icily. She was deeply troubled by how Helaku had lost the composure she had always admired. Oblivious to the tension between Ilianna, Cyn, and Rahu, Olathe gave Helaku an impish grin. "So -you- are Helaku," she said with a lifted eyebrow at Ilianna, her voice silky and sly. "I have heard so much about you in my brief time here at the meadow. All good things, I assure you." She grinned wider and bowed her head a bit. "I'm Olathe." Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku lifted his gaze to meet Ilianna's. "Don't pity me," he said. Quietly, simply. He wished pity from no one...especially not a friend. His head whipped around and he pinned his ears at Rahu, about to snap out a tart retort when Olathe replied. He turned back and nodded slowly. "That I am...and I would not expect Ilianna to speak ill of me, so I'm not worried on that account." While he'd managed to force some sort of composure on himself, there was still a hint of fear showing in his eyes. He had to know someone first. He was not going to fall so fast again. "Olathe...you're Ilianna's half sister?" He tilted his head. "Interesting." She seemed much bolder than her sister. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Aruna felt sad for Helaku. However, she had nothing to say to the stallion, but that was probably for the best. "Rahu," she said, walking over to him. "I know you hate crowds--I do too--but at least be polite! Or don't say anything," she muttered to him, and then gave a lilted smile at Illianna's friend. "Hi, Olathe. I'm Aruna." She turned to Helaku, feeling his slight depression. "Helaku... on other subjects," she decided distracting him would be better, "...how do you know my father? That's surprising to hear. I never knew my father knew another stallion. He doesn't know many." samus x Rahu smirked and stayed still as Cyana nipped at his nose. " oh i should take my own advice. and i yet i have yet to ignore anyone." he nipped at her again just to get her more aggrivated. " Aruna you know what i will say to that." looking at Illianna he still had the smirk. " why so kind of you to notice." seeing Helaku almost about to say something but then ignore him, he shruged at him and ignored him. JadeEye Ilianna pursed her lips but didn't say anything further on the matter because Helaku obviously didn't want to talk about it, nor did he want her sympany. She could understand, to some extent; however, just because he was a stallion didn't mean he was immune to heartbreak like a mare might be. She would talk to him later about it, if he wanted. Aruna's change in topic was probaby the best remedy for now. The blue femme nodded, still looking cheerful amidst the drama as though she could easily repel such a force. "I am," she responded. "We have the same dam, I've just learned...I am the younger of the both of us from what I was told." Olathe never knew that there was a sibling floating around somewhere; their mother had pretty much disowned the tiger mare in the same matter that Olathe was now also astranged from her family. Olathe had similarity in color to her sister and the bold black markings were similar in their own way, but she was a little bigger and stockier than Ilianna. She also had long legs in comparision to her body, much like the tiger mare. Draculas Babe "I'm so sorry if I seem rude. I do not intend to be this way, he just tends to get to my bad side, its a pleasure to meet you both." she looked to Aruna. "Why don't you ask him that." she snorted as her tone started to harden again. Nel_Zelpher_2005 Helaku shrugged. "I don't know him directly...but I haven't had much to do but listen lately. Mai brings me news of things, she likes exploring." He smiled at the thought of the little wolfling, so eager to please her protector and friend. He managed to smile slightly at Olathe as well. "Well, it is good that you found each other. Family should stick together, or at least meet occasionally, don't you think? Being different...'tis no excuse for turning out kin." The distraction was helping him relax unknowingly around this mare, and had he known it was happening, it certainly would have been unwillingly. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Aruna rolled her eyes at Rahu. "Oh yes, I know exactly what you'll say," she said, exasperated. Turning, surprised, she took a good look at both Illianna and Olathe. "Hm, you two do look a little similar." She half-smiled, tilting her head slightly. "Half-sisters, eh? It must have been quite nice to meet each other and discover that trait. Intriguing!" she quipped. She glanced at Cynara, laughing softly and good-naturedly. "I'm afraid I can't ask right now, but I will later." Cynara was a good friend of hers, like Tori. In a way, Cynara was family, being her "cousin" as Alona was considered to be Hania's "older sister". I have such a big family, she mused. "Ah, so you've heard rumors? What of?" She was surprised to find another Soquili know of her. Many knew Rahu, if she wasn't mistaken. She snickered softly, nudging Rahu to let him know what she was thinking. samus x Rahu grinned now. " how am i suppost to know why your mad with me." he turned to Aruna as she nudged and nipped at her. " now do you go starting up Aruna." he knew what she ment when she nudged him. giving a toss of his mane, he had enough of being around others for a day. crowds where just not his thing and rather liked to avode them. " well i had enough of this crowd so i'll be leave you all to your fun." and with that he went on his own way, with his thoughts.

Rein_Carnation As the clouds parted letting the sun drift back towards the lower horizon a stallion painted in plummage of reds, blues, and greens stood quiety. His ears swiveled front to back listening for something of interest. It had been since forever that he seen his sister, missing the silliness she lived for. Snorting he decided to eat the grass brushing his feet. Atleast it was something to do. samus x Rahu was out running to pass the time and help him think. After that one race with Khairi he had taken to running again, which was something he loved to do again. His hoofs pounded the soft earth as he ran through the open clearing and never noticed the other stallion. Snorting he was really going to where particular but was just running anyways. Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Was caught up in his grazing that bringing his head upwards sharply caused his blades of grass to lightly dance towards the ground. Another stallion dark as night had passed him in a whirl which seriously caught the red winged's attention. Thinking boredom no more he took off after Rahu looking for some entertainment flapping his wings in a whoosh to gain speed and reach the air that washed about him. samus x Rahu heard the stallion start right after him, as he ran. Looking back and flashing a smirk to the other stallion, he picked up his pace more. This shall be interesting he thought to him self. He had only raced someone once and was never one to back down to a challenge. Especially since this stallion came right after him as he was running. Nose flaring, he was going to keeping going for a bit longer. Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Blinked as the other had slowed up and stopped. What fun was that he frowned to himself. Lowering his speed he glided just short of the other stallion landing perfectly with a flick of his braided tail. Turning himself around he faced the other stallion, "Aww why did you stop? I was actually having fun there for a moment." he frowned as he swiveled his ears at the other. samus x Rahu snorted at the other stallion. ?I stopped because I was getting tired. I had already been running for a long while before I pasted by you.? Eyeing the other stallion for a moment, he found him to be a bit brightly colored. ?And besides I?m not one to be around for others amusement. So who are you anyways?? tossing his mane, this stallions color reminded him of a birds coloring rather than that of a stallion. Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Felt the intimidation set in by a darkened rival but he was one to take things in stride. "Zaribe.. that's what I'm called. My sister and I came from the higher mountains to find a new area to check out. I get prone to finding things to do so don't mind me. I just consider grazing boring." he smirked swishing his braided tail back and forth. "So... what is there to do around here that is intersting then?" he queried with a toss of his rainbow mane as it cascaded over his withers and mane. samus x Rahu smirked thoughtfully. ?Hmm interesting and I do agree with grazing boring.? He then raised a brow at Zaride in amusment, since he did not bother to ask his anme. ?As to what there is to do interesting around here, I have yet to find anything interesting. That is unless you find chating with others or exploring interesting. But I find those things dull really, unless the other infront of me is interesting to me.? Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Was relieved the dark one... what was his name anyway... was atleast talking to him. His kind was the flighty types always finding something to hold interest. Chatting wasn't a priority but seemed to be the option right now. "This area is different from the mountains.. well without that bothersome snow. Exploring can be a plus if there's shiny things to find." he chuckled to himself. Listening to the wind as it whistled a strange tune he queried without hesitation. "By the way I didn't get your name." samus x Rahu raised a brow at Zaribe as he mentioned shiny things as if he liked them. ?I never was one to go to the mountains. And shiny things well I never pay attentions to those things.? He flicked his tail as Zaribe asked his name. ?And my name is Rahu.? Thinking Zaribe was only mildly interesting, and Rahu was already losing interest in sticking around. Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Started thinking that Mr. Grump was getting to be as bland as chewing grass that was way over grown. He kept that thought to himself and listened like the good stallion he was. "Hey another two where I've been seeking shelter have mentioned you before. The ones called Glory and Kimimela. That Kimi is an interesting one I'll say. Have to turn your thoughts inside out figuring out what she has to say." he amused himself talking about the lemur mare. "But you probally know what I'm talking about. Oh well I'm not going to seem like some birdbrain to someone I just met. So I'll let you be on your way as I'm boring the life out of you." he noted flexing his wings preparing his flight. samus x Rahu chuckled. ?I only meet Glory once, and have meet Kimi twice. I find Kimi rather amusing with the way she talks if you ask me. And yes I suppose I know what you mean.? He then shrugged at Zaribe. ?You don?t seem like one but you?re only mildly interesting. But then...? giving a malicious smirk, he started to think of something amusing he might do. ?I know im only mildly amusing when I choose to be calm. And unless you feel the need to leave, I find no reason I feel like going.? Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Paused with a toss of his mane cascading over his shoulders. This "Rahu" was interesting to him though still a little bland. "Nah I really have nothing to do but graze which really isn't my routine unless I get hungry. I'm just bored as anything since we came here. The locals don't really say a word to me anyways. Maybe its better to avoid the mares." he chuckled to himself thinking there might not be a girl out there to remotely hold his attention. Not to mention none carried plummage as vibrant as his. "standing around isn't boring but it can make your feet ache after awhile. Its why i flex my wings often to get the energy moving." samus x Rahu snorted at Zaribe mentioning mares. ?I?m sure you can find quite a few locals who would talk if you wanted too. I found that there are plenty and I don?t even go searching for anyone to idly chat with.? He tossed his mane to get it out of his face. ?Mares are more trouble than there worth and are annoying. That?s why I tend to stay away from them but they keep finding me for some odd reason. As for standing around, it is quite boing to do for me atlest so shall we walk?? Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Nodded in agreement on the walking part. "Walking is perfect right now as my feet are aching. Never going to understand this ground under me. So much better to slice through the clouds with your hooves making strange shapes. Silly glory thinks she can do that like those crazy flutters." he noted initiating the walk. "As for mares Zikeria is the only one I've ever seen as brightly painted as I am. Guess that's because we're siblings." he stepped forward tossing his head once more. "So what makes those mares come after you? Heh lyrical question of course with no sarcasm." samus x Rahu shook his head with a chuckle. ? and I will never understand why you winged ones love the sky so much but then that?s cause I don?t have wings.? He then rasied a brow.? Really now, never would have thought that Glory would do that.? Walking beside Zaribe, he did like a conversation every once in a while but it was rare. ?And ofcourse that?s cause your siblings, but then there are plenty about with odd colorings. As to why mares run into me, I don?t know. I guess it because I wander about a lot.? Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Walked smoothly with the bob of his head accompianied by the swish of his tail. He listened with open ears as for once he wasn't just being a ball of curiousity and energy. "Yeah that unicorn still thinks she can fly. I think she's a bit looney thinking that. Heard she crashed when she was younger. Had to hurt I would think." he nodded flexing his wings again. He watched rahu with a silly smile and noted that the way he held himself is what drew the mares to him. "I think its the quietness that draws them to you like rain from the sky. Mares tend to want to learn that curiousity and how they can harness it." samus x Rahu could tell Zaribe was the curious type, but with how the conversation was he was not being that way. ?I would think crashing would hurt quite a bit too. But I don?t think she is looney, far from it. Though if I did not know her I would have agreed.? Eyeing Zaride for a moment as he said what he thought drew mares to him. ?Hmmm interesting, you got a point there.? He then stopped as he remembered something. ?Ah I just remembered something. Which means I better be off, but I have to say it was interesting talking.? Flicking his tail he went on his own way. Rein_Carnation Zaribe: Watched the other go with a chuckle as he whinied a goodbye. "Interesting stallion.. made me think twice on that. oh well I better head in before that storm hits." Out stretching his wings he felt the wind brudh against him. The electric filled the sky as the horizon announced the first storm of the month. "Hmm we feathers aren't that exciting" Leaping to the dark sky littered with strikes of light he headed back to the forest clearing to avoid the rain.

Syrynx The chill of evening was a welcomechange, and the steady thrum of hoofbeats on sand was in and of itself metronomic as K'jatu cantered along the beach, hooves kicking up spray and sand. It was a rare pleasurefor the mare, and she whickered almost triumphantly, splashing in the shallow lapping of the full tide. Eventually, she slowed,prancing, her heartbeat fluttering and she paused to catch her breath, looking around her keenly.She hadcome upon the beachentirely by accident,but in all her travelling, she had not found such an enjoyable expanse to runon. A stirring in themurky waters of her subconsciou sseemed to signal that she would stay here, for a while,for it pleased her to do so. samus x Rahu grumbled as he walked a bit at the beach. he was trying to take time to himself to think for a bit. looking about the beach he then saw a mare prancing about in the water of the ocean. "great just want i need."grumbling to himself, he started to walk past her and hoped to be unnoticed. but then that never worked out when ever that happened. Syrynx Watching quietly, K'jatu simply followed the Darkhorsewith hergaze. She offered no words, only a slight inclination of her head was an acknowledgement of his pressence. Pale eyes followed him a moment,and she was content to let him wander off. She was not, by nature a social butterfly, and in him,she seemed toa cknowledge a similar frame of mind,for he had not spoken and he had hardly noted her presence.not that she minded. Instead, She waited until her had a good lead before she started her run, to close the gap and dart ahead. It was sport that needed no words, only the agreement of challenge should he rise to it. Rein_Carnation From the clouds that hung above the ocean carried the hint of something exciting. Below the winged male were two Soquili one male and one female. He noted the male as Rahu that he previously met beforehand. Swooping downward he couldn't escape a chance at a little competition hoping to reach them both in an arc of show. Zabribe always was one for being a showoff and tonight was no exception. samus x Rahu was surpised as he passed by the mare and she said nothing but only nodded her head. snorting he wondered what the mare was think as he kept on his way. tossing his mane, he would just ignore unless she said or did something. going back to his own thoughts, he kept walking but slower as he noticed Zaribe above. Syrynx As K'jatu passed him, and he ignored her, she seemedtogive a mental shrug. Perhaps he didn't like to run. It was no loss. She kept her pace until a flashof bright color in the air startled her from her reverie and she skidded to a stop, siddling backwards, ears back in mild confusion. She shook her mane out and followed the shape in the sky, standing rather dumbstruck,impromptu racing forgotten for the moment. Rein_Carnation Zaribe swooped down closer noting Rahu being himself with a mare following after him. He chuckled landing near the dark stallion watching the mare. Flicking his braided tail he shook his long mane of primary plumage as he folded his feathery wings inward. "Greetings."
He was always alert and in the mood to meet others as his black eyes glistened with curiousity in the newcomer and seeing his friend... or atleast he hoped he still was. samus x Rahu blinked in surpise as the mare ran right past him then stoped. he figured it was because of Zaribe she had stopped. figuring Zaribe would come down to where both of them where we went over towards the mare with a snort. once Zaribe landed near him, he smirked. " seems you like to be a show off Zaribe." Rein_Carnation Zaribe tossed his mane with a flick of rainbow in his tail as well. He smiled genuinely at rahu knowing he'd say something like that. "Hey now... be nice Rahu." he chorlted with a wink turning to look at the mare that was patterned in unique tatoos that melted into her form. With a gesture he nodded his head in a bow and smiled. "Hello I'm Zaribe".
He stretched his colorful wings again inhaling the air. Strangely how the ocean made your senses clear. Syrynx K'jatu watched with intrest as the vividly plumed one lit down from the skies as though he were a bird. She seemed to look at his wings with definate curiousity and a slight twinge of what might have been construed somewhere in her innermost workings as envy. To Fly would be a grand ammount of freedom. She nodded once to the very red male, for she could not feign indifference, but she certainly wasn't going to act like some twittering dolt because she hadnt seen something before. She listened to the exchange of names and nodded, seeming almost stubbornly tight lipped. samus x Rahu still had a smirk as Zaribe told him to be nice. " only when i feel like it Zaribe." flicking his tail, he eyed the mare. " and as you most likey heard from Zaribe here im Rahu." snorting at salty smell at the beach, he never had been around here before. " and it seems she wants to be quiet." (( x-x my brain melting- )) Syrynx She nodded at the dark one and answered simply, "I heard." It was a rolling rich sound. She swished her tail and let silence hangin the air like an awkward moment that had been constructed for just a moment like this. Almost as an after thought She added simply "K'jatu," as though the single word werean entire explanation. Rein_Carnation Zaribe chuckled at the darker stallion being himself. But he did acknowledge the winged's presence. He turned to the mare watching her vividly through his shining dark eyes. "So I take it you're new here? I am sort of... well to the beach. May I ask you your name if I'm not being rude?" he queried wondering if she would answer him or not.((Dead muse.. oi... oh well I guess i should call it a night since I can't type worth a darn anymore. I'd like to RP again with you guys sometime ^^.. for now sleep is sounding nice))

Syrynx (( Sure sure ^^)) Clouds rose over a small horizon, one dappled inbrowns and creams and white. Dust settled quietly across a gently rolling hill and the valley beyond. And then the world turned upside down. K'jatu rolled in the dirt enthusiastically, legs in the air, back arched as she squirmed until she was satisfied androlled over on to her belly. She sighed with contentment, watching the beach oncemore. The waters beyond were the most expansive se had ever seen, and they captivated her attentions. samus x Dyami walk to the beach in deep thought. he decided he needed to get out and away from the herd for a bit though he loved being able to be with his mate, adn 2 of his kids. though Fenrir his one son who loved to be wild was rare that he saw him. looking about the beach he saw a mare laying there. rasing a brow he had never met her before adn gave a friendly nicker over to her to be polite. Syrynx Hearing the nicker, K'jatu's ears flicked forward and she scanned around breifly for the source. Once she spotted the stallion, she got to her feet lethargically and gave hima seemingly polite nod, shaking out her mane and flicking her tail absently. samus x Dyami smilied and gave a nod back. walking close enough for her to hear him, he said. " hi there, i dont mean to intured but i thought it nice to atlest say hi. i am dyami and it seems i never met you before. mind telling me your name?" flicking his tail, he was always polite unless someone got him mad. Syrynx K'jatu gave himabrief flicker of asmile,"Pleased to meet you." It seemed as though she was just beingidle, there was no intruding on his part in her opinion, "K'jatu." She dipped her head again. samus x Dyami chuckled. " a pleasure to meet you K'jatu." looking about he had never wandered to the beach before so it was new to him. " so do you come to this beach often? i have never been around here before and seemed i accendently wandered here." Syrynx She nodded slowly as if pondering, and looked back out to the water. She seemedto reaffirm her opinion through second observation, "Yes, I like it." The mare was rather short spoken it seemed, not entirely rude, just the sort to say what they meant adn not much else. Truthfully, she was trying to thinkof something, but small talk was not her forte. samus x Dyami could tell she was not one to make small talk and nether was he. normal when he met someone they talked more than he did really. " i see, it really is nice out here. i should bring my family here some time to see it." giving a smile he tryed to think of things he might beable to talk about. Syrynx K'jatu nodded slowly, "A family? That's nice." She seemed to study him carefully for a moment, and nodded again, "Family is a good thing." It was possible for her tospeak with multiple sentances apparently, A twinge of something akin to cynicism prodded her brain thoughtfully and she wondered with silent vague amusement if her ability to conjugate a phrase longer than three words suprised him as much as it suprised her. samus x Dyami chuckled as she seemed to like to talk in multiple sentances. " yes it is." he actualy found it alittle amusing she did. think for a moment he wondered what else to say. " i actualy have two sons and one daughter. though i should day im just talking about myself and my family and have not asked about you." Syrynx She smiled benignly adn shook her head,"I'm of no impotance." She said it with quiet finality, "They say that children are the greatest joy that someone could ask for." She didn'to ffer any of her own thoughts on the matter, simply waiting to see if he would expound on his children. samus x Dyami chuckled again. " i beg to differ but you seem interested in me talking about my three kids. and they truely are a joy." he then grinned. " but there all grown now and are off doing there own things. but let me tell you, they where a handful at times." giving a laugh, he remebered all the times he had to go looking for Tori when she was a foal. Syrynx She nodded appriciatively, "Children tend togrow up, no helping it." Her tone was subtly mirthful. She yawned and stretched quietly,revelling in the feeling of snug muscles becoming loose again. samus x Dyami gave a sigh. " true enough. though im glad they stick around though there old enough to go off on there own." he gave another chuckle as she yawned. " seems your a bit tired and it makes me realize how tired i am to. " keeping himself from yawning he realized he should go back to where his mate and kids where waiting for him. " i should problably get back to my mate and kids before they worrie. though i know my kids are most likey running about."(( @-@ next post im going to end the rp cause my brain went blank )) Syrynx She smiled and nodded,"Have a pleasant night then." she grinned and added, "Nice to have met you." She dipped her head ina parting gesture and waited quietly for him to go before she would wander offtofind somewhere comfortable to rest. samus x Dyami gave a nod and a smile. " yes it was nice metting you and i hope to eventualy meet you again." giving another nod, he went towards where he knew his famliy would be.

samus x Rahu was drinking some water at the stream to cool off from a long run. He was in no particular mood this day. Taking another drink of water, he was starting to get bored. It had been a while since he seen anyone and he actually preferred being by himself. But he was bored enough he wanted to do something. Flicking his tail, and tossing his mane he looked about wondering if someone might wander to the stream. Bloody_Buffy *Micah's eyes laid on the very familiar form of Rahu. He remembered the old devil. The one who made him inquisitive about others. He put on his best mock smile, and approached him*
Hello.*he said, his voice deep as he was much older and larger since he last met Rahu.* samus x Rahu turned at the voice that aid hello. Eyeing who said it, he saw it was only Micah who he had not seen for quiet sometime. “Seems you have grown the last I saw you Micah.” Flicking his tail again, he eyed Micah again for a moment and could tell Micah had defiantly grown but that was something Rahu cared little about. “So what brings you in this area?” Bloody_Buffy *Micah approached the stallion, eyes narrowed, and he was cautious. He wasnt afraid in the slightest. But he was cautious around all Stallions for some reason. He smiled*
Aye, I have. I was roaming. Looking for members to maybe make a herd for myself. And you? samus x Rahu snorted and rolled his eyes at hearing Micah looking for members to maybe make a herd. “Really now why on earth would you want a herd. All a herd is, is trouble and I find it not worth the trouble.” He eyed Micah again, and could tell he was being cautious. Tossing his mane again, he truly wondered why so many like being in herds or even be leaders of one. To him it was nothing but an annoyance and he rather stay alone than take care of some herd. Bloody_Buffy *Micah nodded towards a Palomino mare, leaning on a tree, her eyes closed, and back at Rahu* She lost her whole herd, and she isnt very sturdy by herself. It was a promise I made with her. samus x Rahu eyed the mare Micah had nodded towards. “If one can’t take care of themselves then they should not be around soquili like me. Protecting themselves behind a herd is nothing but showing they are weak.” Giving another snort he truly hated those who could not help themselves. “I hate those who are so weak they cant do things for themselves. Its only a weakness to have to relie on others.”

PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Hania yawned as he glanced up at the sun. He blinked. No, that couldn't be right. But it was! He had slept in! Oh no! Aruna was probably off again... darn, he'd been hoping to spend some time with her. Ah, well. He trotted out of his home and headed straight for Soquili fields, hoping he would at least get to see one familiar face. At any rate, he'd be getting to do something! He had been gone for a long while, after all. samus x Dyami walked along by hiself. normaly Tori would tag along but today she had gone off on her own. giving a light sigh as he came into the soquili fields. he knew Tori could take care of herself and also knew his sons could too but he still liked them to be around. shaking his head, he was geting bored of the same old routen of going on walks and seeing no one. giving a light snort he wondered if he might see an old friend about. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Hania blinked as he looked across the fields. That stallion... "Dyami?" he called, wondering if it was who he thought it was. His old buddy who he hadn't seen in ages. He really wanted to see Settia too. Wondering if she was around as well, he began to look around. samus x Dyami thought he heard his name called and loked about only to see his old fried Hania. giving a chuckle, he went over to Hania. "Its been a long time Hania. so how are you doing?" he smilied and was glad to see an old friend, who he had not seen in so long. PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Unable to spot Settia, Hania settled to chat with his old friend. "Dyami! Long time no see," he greeted, chuckling. "It's funny how I keep hiding, and then when I do manage to pop out, I see all these other younger Soquili.
"I've been good, really. You? Any troubles? My kids seem to be having emotional problems that is worrying me out." Hania laughed. "I'll be old before I'm even ready." His body shook with his mirth. "Just kidding." samus x Dyami chuckled. " seems you and someone i know have that same problem with seeing younger soquili all the time." he tosses his braid mane. "None really, that i know of and i been good." he then raised a brow at Hania saying his kids having emotional problems. " really now, i would what would cause that. and you old, naw if your old then im old." PhoenixGuardianMikazuki "Hah! So you're saying you're older than me?" Hania asked, teasing. Well, Dyami was older, but not by much. "Ah well. Same here! Anything you do for fun, anymore? How's Settia?" Hania didn't really know what to say. Dyami was lucky his kids didn't have problems...((Samus, forgive my slowness. XD I'm kind of working on several things at once.)) samus x (( lol its fine and if i manage to disapear it would be cause the movie my mom watching got me xD)) Dyami grinned. " maybe, maybe not." he then gave another chuckle." well i have to say, i have been really bored since all my kids go off on there own. though jazz and Tori have to stick around since there in the same herd as Settia and i. she's doing fine and im sure she will be sad to know she missed meeting up with you today since she did not take my offer of walk. though i have to say my son Fenrir is a wild one just like i use to be and i rarely see him."PhoenixGuardianMikazuki ((XD Lol. If I manage to disappear myself know that it's because I got stuck having to do laundry. @x@))Hania smiled. "My entired family is wild," he said, rolling his eyes. "We're all our own free selves... But I guess we're sort of domestic because we all live in teepees with our humans, too." Hania wouldn't ever leave Miakoda, even if he was forced to. He would just come back, just like before. "Fenrir, is it? That yellow colt of yours? I hadn't seen the fellow in ages. Aruna wants to meet him, I hear. Says that Tori and Jazz speak about him, but she's never seen hiim." samus x Dyami shook his head with a smile. " cant disagree there Hania. though i bet settia misses her bonded, we choose to live with a herd so that our kids could grow up around other foals and adults." he then nodded. " yes Fenrir is the yellow green one. he is quiet the wild one and likes being the wild stallion he is. im sure Aruna will meet him eventualy. all i hear he has been up to is roaming about like i use to at his age."(( lol thats fine )) PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Hania grinned. "Well, like your son, I must be off and roaming. I'm afraid I have to cut short our meeting, but I hear my own bonded calling..." Hania whinnied cheerfully. "I agree! They'll meet someday. I hope they do, actually, or Aruna will drive me mad with her talk of the winged Soquili. She's so obsessed with them." Hania rolled his eyes. "I hear she has so many friends of those kinds... What was his name, Rahu? That stallion seems to be the closest to her, amazingly enough." samus x Dyami raised a brow at his metion of Rahu. " really now, i never thought anyone would ever get close to Rahu. and my own Daughter likes the winged soquili to if only to nibble on there wings." he then gave a nod. " and if you must be off roaming to your bonded then i wont stop you. but it was nice seeing you again." PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Hania turned to get ready to leave. "You know Rahu?" Hania said. The stallion really was infamous, just as Aruna had said. "Aruna finds them more interesting than Tori would, I must say. But it's interesting to hear that you know of Rahu. I worry every time Aruna meets him; I swear something bad will happen, but there's nothing I can do!" samus x Dyami frowned. " seems so and yes i know of him." he had no idea why Rahu would even think of geting close to anyone. " you may be right about that one. but i think i shall talk with him when i see him next. though i have to say Rahu is not one to listen or do anything to anyone unless he is in a bad mood." PhoenixGuardianMikazuki Hania chuckled dryly. "You should talk to him when Aruna is there. There's no telling what'll happen. But I'll see you around sometime, okay, Dyami?" Hania whickered a good bye, and then turned to walk back the way he came. He was needing to have a talk with Aruna. Badly. samus x Dyami nodded to Hania and gave a good bye nicker. " sure, i'll see you around." going on his own way now, he now wondered if he should talk to Rahu. shaking his head, he better do that soon or something between Aruna and Rahu might happen.
