Abel Chou

Abel glanced to Professor Ani quickly as he asked if she was okay. She blushed a red as he leaned over to her, staring at her face. She squirmed. "I g-guess my stomach hurts...", she whispered to him... But as he mentioned them accompanying to eat with him, her eyes lit up. She quickly took his arm and laughed. "Y-yes! I would love too!", she said happily and looked to Emily quickly. "And how about you? Care to join?", she asked and tilted her head lightly. She held onto Ani a little tighter, squirming with eagerness. She wanted to go eat, wanting to know the food. She also wanted to see the cafeteria. She looked up to the art teacher and smiled shyly, blushing. She slowly let go of his arm, embarrassed and stepped back, realizing her silliness.

She nodded curtly as Jason left. She liked him well enough, but she didn't like her friends feeling the need to be submissive. Especially Kata, who, she could tell, was dominant as all get out if she wanted to be. She looked around at the dying sunlight, realizing she should go to bed. She didn't know how her new... affliction worked. She didn't want something to happen and she not be ready. She shook her head, turning to Kate and Vince. "Well... I'll be going, now. Tomorrow?"

She turned, not waiting for a response. As she got to the door of the dormitor, she pulled it open, sprinting up the stairs and around the corners, having remembered the way well. She reached her room, and she looked up and down the hall, not knowing what to expect. She sighed, pushing it open and walking in. She turned, and began to lock the door, but changed her mind, as her current roommate wasn't in yet. Fray looked around, and went to her bed, setting her sketch book down beside her bed. She sighed, laying down atop the sheets, not taking at least her boots off. Soon, she dozed to sleep, her hands folded under her head.

_________________________________

As she awoke, she sat up, rubbing her eyes. Her orangeish red hair was a frizzy mess, and she had sleep-marks on her hands where her pillow case had creased and left imprints. She looked around, noting the missing girl from the bed across the room. It was made, however, which Fray appreciated. Messiness was displeasing to her. She also noted the windows. The curtains were half way pulled, but there was light coming from it. Oh, Gods, it's still morning! She groaned, prepared to slam the pillow on her face and go back to sleep, when she realized she wasn't tired. That must mean it's... noon? She got up, picking her book up as she went, and walking swiftly to her door, running her fingers through her hair.

She opened the door, pulling it shut behind her as she made her way throughout the maze of halls again. Fraya made it to the ground floor, and frowned, noting the few students milling about. She ducked her head, hugging the book to her and walked to the entrance, leaving the building. The girl straifed to the right side of the double doors, leaning back against the wall. She held her book between her calves she she moved to braid her hair again, the two locks of hair being somewhat a trademark. When she finished, she stood there, hugging her sketch book close, and waited for someone she knew. Prefferably Katarina or Vincent. Both would be nice.

Kata kept her eyes on the ground. She didn't know why she couldn't meet the gaze of the boy Jason. Had she been annoyed by him? Is that all it was? Kata was still in shock that Fray, who seemed so timid, had stood up to him. She looked so small next to him, but she seemed so fierce as she stood her ground and he backed down. Maybe she was quicker to defend others than herself. And maybe everything would be okay--he did apologize, even if it didn't sound too sincere. As Jason whispered to her, she tensed up. If everything is okay, then why does it feel wrong? Why do I feel so...violated?

Kata wrapped her arms around herself as Jason passed by her. Why? Why? Her thoughts were racing. He had been gone for what seemed longer than just a few seconds when she felt something on her arm. She jumped at the feel of fingers brushing her, breaking her from another one of her trances. But it was only Vincent. She was able to meet his gaze, his worried eyes and tried to force a smile for him. "It's ok," she whispered. She put her hands over his fingers. Then, she turned to Fray and smiled at her, a little more strongly. She was wanting to leave, and so soon. "Ok. So long, Fray!" she called out to Fray as she walked away. She probably didn't hear me... Kata dropped her hand, still holding onto Vincent's, and began to slowly swing her arm. She didn't realize how natural it felt.

Kata looked up at the clock tower as it chimed the time away. It was getting late. "So... it's almost time for supper, I think." She looked back at Vincent. Kata wanted to forget about this incident. She wanted to not have to think about things that made her feel uncomfortable, like the way Jason looked at her. It just doesn't feel right. He didn't look at her the way he had eyed Fray. He looked at her with wide eyes and dilated pupils, like she was a meal. She shuddered at the thought of a werewolf eating a human, cause weren't werewolves human as well? At least in part?

Roranna Nautil

Mind slipping your wallet over this way?

She sighed, getting off of the comfortable floor again. She always regretted waking up. No matter when. But, she was made happier when she got to work some poor pups to death. Speaking of which! She looked around, nodding to herself. It was dark out. She always slept the day away in those weeks before classes started. Roran pivotted to the bag of her clothes, stripping of her linen shorts and shirt again to trade them in for her jean cuttoffs, and torn up t-shirt. She ran a hand over her head, mussing up her already messy hair. When she tied some of it back with a random strip of cloth, the woman shoved her feet into her boots, leaving the room with her usual rutine, and heading down to the area the Headmaster would be giving his address.

"OH! A student of mine? Well, then I am more than pleased to meet you, Miss Abel." Emily was excited at the prospect of meeting a future student of hers. She was afraid no one was going to sign up for her class. The younger generations no longer seemed interested in looking at the stars. Though, she noticed how this child didn't seem to be excited either. Her eyebrows pulled together as the child looked back down at the floor. Emily looked to Aningan in question, but Aningan was examining the girl as well. I must be missing something...

But Aningan seemed to know exactly what was wrong: the poor pup wanted information. On being a werewolf, no doubt. The child instantly perked up and clinged to Aningan once he had invited her to dine with him. Emily raised an eyebrow at the sight of a student holding on to a professor like that. But she immediately dismissed the thought of a scandal when she figured the pup was probably scared to tears. She smiled warmly as Abel asked her to join them. The girl let go of Aningan as soon as she asked the question--relief flowed through Emily's body. If anyone had seen that... "If you two would not mind another joining, I will gladly dine with you. You see, Professor Sedna has just returned from her vacation. I am sure she has wonderful stories to tell."

Emily began to look off in the direction of where she believed Sedna should be. "I believe she is in her office, at the moment." She noted the confusion on Abel's face. "She is one of the music professors here. Lovely singing voice--truly a talented girl. Pray tell, is she one of your professors as well?" Emily began to babble away, like always. Even in the company of a student, she could not resist the urge to speak her mind. She winked at Aningan as the pup seemed to have perked up a bit.

Abel swallowed hard as Professor Emily agreed with having dinner. She blushed lightly again and tensed up a bit as she went on about another professor and how she was the music teacher... She nodded lightly. "... I-I do... And yes... I play String instruments...", she whispered to her... She realized her instruments hadn't come in the mail yet... She swallowed hard again and licked her lips. They were very important to her... She bit her bottom lip seeing as though the female winked to Ani... She began to walk with the two, feeling the lump in her heart. What if she truly liked Professor Ani?...

Abel rubbed the back of her neck and kept very quiet. She wondered what they were thinking, walking between them. She felt a little odd... This feeling... Her eyes glanced to each of them.

Tika was very pleased to hear that his young pupil would be joining him to dinner as well as Emily. He was slightly confused as how to react to Abel taking hold of his arm but when she let go he smiled at her. He then looked up to Emily when she spoke, “Miss Sedna? Well I can hardly argue. I am going to have dinner with THREE lovely ladies! What a great Saturday this has become!” His heart fluttered when he saw the wink from Emily and his smile widened. They were now on their way to Miss Sedna’s office, and Tika could not be happier. He always thought her voice was one of the best he had heard, and was happy there was someone here from the same region as he. He missed Alaska sometimes, the land of snow, the seemingly endless herds of caribou, the adventure. He had yet to ask her of anything but where she had originated, but he was definitely interested. Perhaps a topic for conversation during dinner? As they approached the door to the office, he let Emily take the lead, as Emily was the one who had invited Sedna. He hummed to himself happily as he waited, rocking back and forth on his feet.

Cristian breathed a sigh of relief as he rounded the other side of the building. He walked along one of the paths, and could see the group he had nearly walked into some distance off. He quickly made it to the dining hall, and sat down with a heaping plate of roast beef, which was even better than the food from lunch. He sat alone, enjoying his food, then made his way to his room. It was now dark out, with only the full moon and the occasional torch illuminating the grass and distant wall, but it didn't bother him. He could smell the forest, the wind, the trees. He steeped into his room and, grabbing a book from his bag, lay down on his bed to read. Laying there, he realized that he was really happy to be here.

Kent was very entertained by these two girls. Their actions were individualistic and he liked people who were different. His eyes moved from Loki to the setting sun as a warm reminiscent smile crept across his lips. The sun set here reminded him of home and sitting on the fence with his guitar. It was like being home for a moment, but he snapped to when Evelyn asked him about horses.

"Oh, they're some of the best creatures. With enough time around a single person a horse is said to be more loyal to that person than the other horses it has grown up around. Great creatures."

Kent would continue to admire the scene that the sun cast upon them all. A curtain of gold had been drawn across them in the time they had been talking. It was just like the sunsets back home on the farm. A smile crept across his face as he turned from one girl to the other and listened to Evelyn lightly. She asked about his animals and Kent's attention was caught fully. They had so many! He decided to name only the ones he knew for the longest.

"Well there's old Charlotte our cattle dog, we also have five horses. Quite a few cows, pigs, chickens...ma got some cats. Other than that...we have some sheep and a llama..that's pa's friend who gave us a llama as a joke. We call her lady because she is the only animal we have that is always acting like you should treat her like a queen."

Kent would say as he crossed his arms and chuckled lightly as he thought about the animals from back home. The interaction with other people was nice. It was something Kent thrived during. Kent would stretch lightly and as his did so his shirt would pull up lightly showing his lower abs. A moment later he pulled his shirt back down and recrossed his arms and looked from Evelyn to Loki waiting for them to continue with their conversation.

Whats my problem?...

Loki listened to Kent as he told of his animals. Growing up in an apartment, she had no pets. When Kent chuckled, Loki smiled, what a nice laugh he has. she thought. She watched him as he stretched, his fine body glistening in the setting sunlight. He was truly a beautiful person. Such a fine man could never see anything in someone like me she thought, forcing herself to look away before she made the moment awkward. She looked at the sun, not as bright as before and watched it sink below the wall, letting the last bit of it's warmth rest on her tan face. Her hazel eyes, green on the sun, were light brown now in the shade. Loki turned to Evie and Kent. "Thank you both for becoming my friends, this school would be hell if i hadn't met you. I'm kind of sleepy, so think I'll turn in early. Where will you be tomorrow?" She truly was a bit tired, but she did not plan to go to sleep right away. She had a book in her room that was calling her name and she wanted to find out what surprise Dustfinger had for Meggie.

...its a long story.

Evelyn listened eagerly at Kent’s explanation and laughed along with him. A farm sounded so much fun! “Well, a woman no matter animal, human or werewolf needs to be treated as a queen!” She winked and teased Kent before laughing again. Evelyn knew she did not believe in that statement, the most she asked from people was some form of respect. Chuckling softly to herself she fell into watching both Kent and Loki. Loki seemed intrigued by the sunset and Evelyn noticed the glances at Kent, Evelyn felt a brow rise slightly. Was Loki already crushing?

Peering towards the sunset herself, Evelyn thought on some idle things. Wondering how tomorrow was going to be, how the next few years here would be. Shaking her head, she erased her thoughts and watched as the sun finally lost its space in the sky. Looking towards Loki who was saying her goodbyes, Evelyn replied,
“Good night Loki! Sleep well.” She then watched as Loki walked off. Evelyn stood there for a moment before peering at Kent.

“I think I’m going to follow suit, still a bit tired from the travel. It was nice to meet you! See you tomorrow?” She asked as she started to walk, she waved when she got her answer and smiled her last goodbye, “Night, sleep well!” Then turned around and walked back towards her dorm building.

[ Time Skip : Sunday morning ]
He had awoken only thirty minutes ago. At first, he had laid in his bed, thinking about yesterday and what would happen today. Then he stood and decided to shower. He took longer than he usually does, seeing as traveling here made him rather grimy. As he cleaned himself he started to worry slightly, did he smell when he was grouped up with Fraya and Katarina yesterday? After the shower, he dried himself off and slid on clean clothes. He stood at the sink and took one of the razors that the guest room offered – which he thought handy, he lost his own – and shaved his scruff clean. Once pleased with himself, he slipped the used razor in his bag, just in case his roommate wanted to shave as well and would not pick his up on accident.

Making sure not to wake the still snoozing male across the room, Vincent left the dorm quietly and exited the building. It was morning and the young man sighed, he always woke up early, no matter what. Shoving his hands in his pockets he walked about the campus, enjoying the quiet and calming air before the rest of the school awoke. He wore a dark green turtle-neck sweater with simple dark blue jeans and the same traveling boots from yesterday. He made around the campus once before he found himself getting chilled by the morning air. He was deciding to go hang out in his room or cafeteria while he waited to see either Katarina or Fraya. As he entered the dorm building again, he saw Fraya leaning against the wall by the door he entered. The man perked up instantly and threw on a small smile.

“M-morning Fraya,” he greeted as he stood next to her, making sure to stay out of walking students. He looked about the hallway before back at the orange-haired girl he called a friend, “Sleep well?”

You ask me why I'm reckless....

[[WELL thanks to all of you, BT Acad is still amazing T-T I'm so sorry I have been absent! School needs to be flipped the bird. And so, here is my post! Once all characters are back at their rooms after about 11 AM on Sunday morning (meaning, you don't have to go back then) letters will be found. Im still formulating the letter, so go bout your business. Anyhoo, I'll send a character of mine back so you can get a look at both letters (there's one for older students, and one for new students). Anyways, I <3 you guys, and let's get this RP back into high gear! : D ]]

Asp had wandered back to her dorm, having spent the rest of the day skirting the huge area that Blackthorn occupied. She had found several small paths, and tonight she'd find out just where they went. She watched from her window as the sun turned a ruddy red-brown. Her roommate wasn't back, and she slipped off her shoes. Still wearing her tawny dress, she quietly walked out of the side door at the end of the hall. The Western wall was close, and she crept across the cool grass and out of a gate. The trees whispered quietly as she padded across some lichen covered rocks. The forest seemed endless in front of her, and a silent voice told her to avoid going too far. She decided to once again skirt the campus, but this time from the outside.

The dark-haired girl settled into an easy loping gait, reminiscent of her lycan movement. She quickly made it to the Southernmost border, making sure to move furthest from here to keep from being sighted from the Gate. The Sun Dorm's spires rose into the swiftly darkening sky, glinting with golden and copper hues in the sky's dying light. She paused to admire it before continuing toward the Eastern wall. She found another group of large stones, green and gray lichens adorning them. She climbed atop a large one, savoring her last few minutes outside the walls.

.....And I'll respond with, "Why aren't you?"

[[Time Skip-Current Time-11:30 AM Sunday]]

Mark woke up to nothing but darkness. He'd remembered to close his large curtains for once, and was twisted in his blankets. Several books lay scattered at the edge of his bed, their pages still in the dark. He groaned and rolled over scratching his stubbled chin. He sat up in bed and gingerly moved the curtain a fraction of an inch. Bright light streamed into his room, throwing golden reflections on his skin.

He allowed his eyes to adjust and looked across his room. There, just inside his door, was an envelope. It was unmarked. He stood and swept it off the ground, tearing the black wax seal off in one movement. The letter was written in a familiar flowing script, and had been, as usual, delivered without his knowledge. He sat back on his bed, the sunlight from the window making the parchment glow.

"To whom it may concern..."

[[Letter will be posted next!]]

She smiled brightly, nodding. She was really warming up to this boy. And Kata. But who couldn't warm up to them? Kata was just commanding of attention and love, for some reason. She didn't know why. She seemed to be very dominant, anyway. It disturbed her to think of what she must be like when--- She refused to think the word. Instead, she regained her train of thought. Vincent was just the right person she could talk to, or not talk, which seemed to be something they shared. They allegedly were very alike in their tastes and dislikes. Like the fact that they both were one to go out last night. Which reminded her. The gates are open, now! We can go! She smiled wider at the prospect of a run, and quirked a brow to Vince, smirking a bit. This will be fun. I wonder if he could keep up with me...

"Are you up for a run, then? We can leave campus, now. Let's go!" She nodded towards the nearest gate, that being the front one. She was very ready to run. A good hike would be marvelous fresh air. She was already dressed for such an occasion, as well, as she hadn't changed last night, or this morning. The hygiene issue nagged the back of her mind, but she ignored it for the time being. She wanted to swim today, anyway.
