"Well..." she looked down then back again. "I just can't go against master. It's.....just something that can't be done. But I really do love him, and he loves me. I am a maid though so, I have to be very polite and quiet as I was....made to be." she said the last part with a hint of ashamement.
He turned around to Kayla. "Relax." he said simply. He stood there for a few seconds then looked at her. "You know, you really ought to start asserting yourself more. You're obviously powerful, you should use your gift. Some one who is weaker than you shouldn't boss you around and act arrogant."

"Alright then ladies.. let's be on our way then." he started walking in the direction of the inn everyone was at, but it was going to take a while walking there.

Myia was right when she said she was tired. Once she got onto one of the beds she fell right to sleep.
Kalya looked up as she bit her lower lip. "No, it isn't a gift." She said lightly. "Its a curse." She said it with full truth. She pulled out a necklace she had hidden and grasped it with her hands. "I am to sweet to do such things."

He gave a sigh and turned around. "Well if you are as nice as you seem, then you should at least keep using using your powers to protect the innocent from....people like me." he said the last part with his fist clentched. "I don't want to be like father...." he confessed. "But I feel as prince, it's my duty to become strong like him."

Kalya looked away. "Yes." She turned to him and smiled lightly. "We are in the same boat." She sighed and brushed off her dress. Then she changed the subject. "How about I go get some food and cook up a big meal? I'm sure everyone is hungry."

Belial placed a hand on Yuure's shoulder. it was weird, but he knew how she felt.
"Yuure, when i was a child, i was born at midnight of the summer solstice under the red star, so im supposedly the avatar of fire. I was raised in the temple, living the life of an aesetic, and i hated it, but i knew it was my duty to commune with the fire goddess. I eventually chose to run away and join the army, now Im a bloody general. The moral to the story is i had just as much a destiny, and i turned my back on it completely. So you can at least choose to speak up on occasion, and defend yourself."

"Mercenary..? You mean like a handyman..?" Shina wasn't exactly sure what a mercenary was, but she had been told they do things for money-- so she thought of them as handymen. "That's a really great job! I bet a lot of people adore you for it." She said with an honest smile.

Shina frowned a bit. "I believe there is no good reason for fighting..but.. " She then smiled up at him, cheerfully, "I won't judge you based on my beliefs." She then turned to Annemarie, "I don't believe I haven't heard your introduction yet..."

Kuroi turned and smiled slightly. "If you need money I have plenty of it." he said, retrieving a silk sack of gold. "I've got plenty of it, and I don't know how your supply is going."
Yuure looked at him. "Well....perhaps if I explain." she said, sort of unwillingly. "We summon creatures are created for our masters. Normally it's general instinct to listen and obey. But as an added precaution we are summoned with a....special seal so to say." she made a quick point to her forehead. "It's invisible until it's activated, when a summon creature disobeys it's master. When that seal is activated it causes unbearable pain to it's host until they stop and get back in line. It may be even possible to kill us but....I'm sorry I shouldn't have told a hu-....shouldn't have told you about that."
