Bane rolled his eyes. "I figured. You've got p***y boy over there tied around your cute little claw. Of course you'd get shot gun."
V reached around and punched him in the knee. "Shut up." He turned away from everyone hiding a blush, revving the engine. "Let's get out of this hell hole."
(( I'm assuming Kaitlynn got in. ))

Laura snuck quietly into the house she lived in and moved as quietly as she could. But to no avail, a light flipped on and sitting on the couch facing the door was one of the boys from earlier that day. "You know mom would be furious if she knew you were getting home so late," he spoke as if he held some authority over Laura. Unfortunately she couldn't talk back much. his family was letting her live with them and so she remained as nice as she could. "Of course, Terrance. I'll be sure to come home earlier." she said looking up the stairs.
Terrance got up and placed his arms around her, "You don't have to be so quiet around me. Laura just because our family is a of witches we see you as an equal family member." Laura didn't look at him, he was lying and saw her beneath the family. "You just keep your work on my brother and I'll make sure you stay in my families good graces." Angered she pushed away from him and clasped his throat with one hand choking him. "The modern hierarchy may put you above me, but I will not be your puppet!" With that she let him go and went up stairs to bed.

"Umm... Bane said you guys could give me a ride, I didn't know....." she said trailing off at the end of the sentence and playing with her necklace agian.

Shaylene stood up and stuck her head around the seat to look at Kaitlynn. Call him that again and I dare ya. Her ears twitched and she rubbed the back of her head against the seat. Gah! Scratch my head, quick! Shaylene pleaded, the feline urge driving her almost insane.

V looked at her and grinned. "Get in. Tell me where to let you off at." Then in his normal driving style skidded out of the parking lot and slammed down on the gas speeding off like crazy. He then scratched behind Shaylene's ear almost without urging.
Bane gave out a lagh and leaned back enjoying the wind.

Kaitlynn reached forward carfully, she noticed that Red was trying to itch her head, and failing. She slowly reached for her head and started itching it.

Kaitlynn noticed that they were getting close to her home so she spoke up.
"Around the next corner, number 13," She yelled above the wind.

He laughed and let Kaitlynn go ahead and take over with Shaylene so he could take the wheel with both hands. "Okay!"

((Ugh... tired. Night people!))
Laura walked into a bedroom as plain as any other teens. She flopped onto her bed and pulled a picture out from within her pillow case. On the front was a picture of her and the boy that lay on her table in the lab. His arm was around her shoulder, she smiled. On the back it read: Laura our day will come when we can leave this family, until then you are the best fake sister a guy could have. Try not to experiment on people it may seem fun but it's just wrong. ^_~ Love, Mark. She tucked it back into her pillow case. Sorry Mark, experimenting is keeping you alive. She thought to the group of Night World beings she ran into that night and grinned. I found a new group to experiment on.

Shaylene found herself crawling over the seat and onto Kaitlynn's lap, arching her back to press her ear into the girls hand like any cat would do. Her eyes flashed open and she blinked. She felt a twitch go through her and she looked at Kaitlynn before jumping back onto her seat. Sorry. Shaylene mumbled.

"It's okay," Kaitlynn said, as Red climbed back to the front seat, she would have commented on how cute it was, but thought better of it. After all she really did like having the ability to see.
