LightsideDarksider Wantcookie Medeus Owwin I still liked to go for the people though. I loved watching people sing together. Even if religion can be a lousy thing, it also brings a lot of people who would never meet. There was beauty in that, but I can't appreciate it anymore. I think something inside me is broken. Maybe I have a chemical imbalance. Exercise and positive thinking just aren't working to pull me out of ruts anymore. lol you're right, Religion sucks. razz Religion is Man's pathetic way of getting in contact with God on Man's terms. Frankly, My God isn't interested in religion. If you tried going back to 'religion' after however many years away from it, it's because Religion is pretty much a waste of time. [/is a christian] lol for the sake of not getting too many people on my bad side yet, I won't go any further unless you're curious. Haha, my mother and I have both given up on our religion because of our own beliefs. (Catholicism is silly and would throw me out for believing in reincarnation) I like listening to what other religions believe in, too, though. One of my friends is Baha'i, a religion I had never heard of. I like a lot of the base beliefs, like that every religion is simply what the people of the originating time period needed. Out of all the "afterlife" beliefs that religions have, reincarnation is one I like the most. There's too much in this world to learn. Didn't learn some things in one life, learn it in another. .....but if you don't remember anything from one life to the next...... PROBLEM!?!?!?

It could be possible that it's all still there and we're just... out of touch with it.

I went to the park with a friend yesterday.
I haven't been on a swing or a spinny carousel thingy in ages.
When I grow up, I want to have my own spinny carousel thingy and swingset next to my indoor pool and virtual reality system.

Though I guess if you really liked that movie, you could watch it over and over and over, and change the things you didn't like about it every re-watch until it was perfect...

Plus, if our subconscious remembers stuff from the past, why hasn't the world gotten better? We can't even learn from however many thousands of years worth of Life-experience to improve ourselves and the world around us? Humanity sucks.
