The metal of the kevlar vest made a noisy clanking noise as it hit the building rooftop. The Hunter's hunting vest and new kevlar vest (the look on the cashier's face was priceless) were set aside neatly, as was the bloodied dress shirt. His bow, four quivers of arrows and bolts, and his wrist crossbow were in a neat pile. He inspected the wound (a rather difficult feat, seeing as how it's hard to see one's own side), and pulled a few kevlar shards out of it, wincing all the while. Ein wrapped some bandaging around it. It was a terrible patchwork job compared to the first aid he performed on Zzeill the other day. He found out that it was remarkably hard to doctor himself. The wound hadn't ceased bleeding, yet he still had never become light-headed, woozy, or even felt anywhere close to feeling any sort of faint. How very peculiar. He stood on the buildingtop, looking at other buildings and the brilliant lights of New York at night. Ein really wished he could make the wound stop bleeding; just standing here waiting for Zzeill made him a beacon to the other creatures of the night.

"I can't even remember how I did that..." Takiko said softly, smiling at Deo.

The Lycan girl bounded quickly across the roof tops, ever looking for Ein once more. Her top hat and long black coat once again place on her, as well as her violin being strapped across her back. She had left Finn in her room and left with bandageing materials for Ein, if she could find him. Seeing him on a nearby roof she bounded up to him and stood on the edge of his roof for a moment, catching her breath. Giving a bow to him she walked over to him. "Let me have a look see." She said as she walked over to him. As she neard him she sat on the roof to be eye level with his horrible patch job. "It would seem you have better experiacne on others. May I remove this?" She said. But she didnt wait for him to answer before she moved to take the bandages off him, pulling her own from the pocket of her pants. She could tell that it hadnt stopped bleeding yet, and pushed against the wound with her hand. The wound didnt seem to be that big, why hadnt it stopped bleeding yet. She looked up to him for a moment before returning to the wound. "We have to get this to stop a little before you put a wrap over it. It will be better for you, trust me." She said sweetly to him, as if she spoke for experiance. She brought her legs in to sit crosslegged on the roof. "You may sit if you want you know."

Ein sat cross-legged on the cold stone of the rooftop. Pain was virtually nonexistent, and he had yet to figure out why. And to make the situation worse, he had looked at the blood spilled on his shirt and noticed a good amount on the back, too. Seems hitting the tree broke up the back of the vest pretty well. Smacking into solid wood at about sixty miles an hour would do that. He also found that from the position of the blood, and taking a good guess where the center of the blood spread, that he had a few large gashes in his back from the metal...in fact, the tears in the shirt had been quite a dead giveaway. "Finn did more damage to me in that one kick than she's done altogether, that's the amazing thing." He reached behind him and pulled a jagged piece of metal out of his back. "And the next amazing thing is that it's not only my side that's injured. My back, from what I can guess, looks I lost a fight with a lawn mower, yet I feel no pain at all, I'm not light-headed from blood loss, and I don't feel faint at all. Do you find that strange?"

Takiko looked at the ground. Which death was he talking about.... When she was murdered by Shizakien to help Cyrus or when she was murdered by a lycan to help her race. Takiko had just realized, she died both times trying to save something or someone close to her.

As he sat she moved to make sure she didnt hinder him and that she could work without him in the way. Looking at his back she took hold of a peice of metal in his back where he could get too. Gently pulling it out she threw it away and went to work picking peices out of his back. "Look, I am sorry for this. And I am sorry about pulling these out of you back as well." She said as she pulled the last bit out of his back. Taking some gauze pads from her pockets she placed them on the major wounds, cleaning them the best she could without the majority of the things needed. "Hm, I dont have a ready explination for that, Ein. Maybe it is all in your mind, the key thing is, you still feel fine. If you do start to feel light headed, just tell me." She said as she worked on cleaning his back and side. After a time she pulled out freash gauze pads and placed them over the wounds again. Then she took an ace bandage and started to wrap him up. Making sure to cover and hold the pads all around. "That should do it, I think. Sorry I couldnt do better, but I have limited resources."

"Here kitty, kitty, kitty," whispered a girl as she walked slowly down a dark ally way. In her blue cargo pants and black tank top, she blened in well with the shadows. "Here, kitty, will someone help me find my kitty?"

Ein smiled. "No need to feel sorry, I'm just glad I have someone I can count on." He put the bloodied shirt back on, he'd have to live with wearing it until he either got it tailored, bought another, or actually went back to Haven to grab another. He had a feeling he wouldn't be visiting Haven any time soon. He probably could've gotten perfectly patched up in the Infirmary, but allowing Zzeill to doctor him sounded more favorable. Ein put his vest back on, buckling it closed. On went his two arrow quivers over his shoulders and two bolt quivers on both arms, along with reattaching the wrist bow and slinging his bow over his shoulder. He couldn't exactly say he felt good as new, seeing as how he hadn't felt anything, so there was nothing to compare the term 'new' to. "Thank you, Zzeill, for your help. You're company is most welcome, as well."

Zzeill bowed her head to him as he stood and then got up after him. Her hands were covered in his blood now, and she had no intention of blooding her clothes. Instead she licked the blood from her hands as he put his clothes and weapons back on. It had a weird taste, as well as its smell, it would seem it was a mix of all the things he was, but she shrugged it off. When he finished she would bow to him. "Dont mention it. You patched me up, I returned the favor. It was nothing." She said with a smile. Sticking her hands into her pockets she looked over the city, and after a moment she would speak up again. "I hope you being in my company will not damage your friendship with the other hunters. I know how they can be." She said before looking back to him again. "And your company is also welcome. Its actually quite enjoyable." She smiled at him and then laughed.

Ein grinned. Friendship with the other Hunters? That was rich. "What friendship? All joking aside, except for the occasional run-in, I know none of the Hunters of New York City. There's thousands of them, and I know not a one. Truth be told, you're the only friend I've got." Seeing her clean the blood off her hands the way she did didn't faze him at all. He laughed when she did, finding humor in her comment. "Never a dull moment, that's for sure." He shifted the conversation to a point of curiosity. Something that had been troubling him. "Any clue why Finn went ballistic on you? I can see why she would go nuts on me, but why you?"

Zzeill gave a shrug. "Well, I tried. To be honest in return, aside from Finn, you are my only other friend." She said with a sinceir tone. It was the truth, well, sort of. there was Jason too, but she forgot at the moment. The quick shift from the topic at hand caused her to pause for a moment, trying to keep up. "Well, she never was a fan of my music, as you are." She laughed afterward. So true was that statement. "But aside from that, I dont think she likes the idea of my being friends with a hunter. She so dispises them, though I know not why." She said shaking her head toward the end of her scentence. Moving closer to him she placed a hand on his shoulder. "But forget about me. We have to get you and Finn on good terms. Forget I exsist when it comes to patching a friendship between you two." She stated with a smile. Their friendship had been on rocky ground since she had returned from her trip out of state, and from the way things went it wasnt getting better. Her time would be better spent getting Finn more friends then trying to save their own.

Ein chuckled. "It's kind of hard to forgot someone like you exists." The next comment made him laugh even more on the inside. "Patching a friendship? I didn't know Finn and I had a friendship to begin with." He placed a hand on her shoulder, opposite the shoulder of his she had her hand on. "I can think of one good reason why she hates Hunters. Two were out for her head. Or, should I say, one is still out for her head, as far as I know. Astante. I guess she's based her outlook on Hunters through him and I." Ein knew very little about this Astante character, but what he did know was that Astante was a high-ranking Hunter, and apparently a close friend of the Hunter leader.

"Its kinda hard to realize I exist. I dont even think the Alpha realizes I live here." She said with a huff to her tone. She had met him all of once and said not but one word to him. Nothing but a shadow to the pack around here she was. "Yes, patch one. You two may not have a friendship, but you know each other. Thats basis enough in my book. So long as you know each other by name, there is a level of friendship, though it seems to be in the negitives. But I am determined." She said with a nod of her head, more convincing herself than him, it would seem. Taking her hand from his shoulder she placed it over his on hers. "Yes, I have heard stories of this hunter. I have never had the pleasure of meeting him personally though. From the sounds of it I dont." She laughed. Finn told her about him once, but she never though he would find her. So far she was right. "Dont worry about it though. I seem to be able to change peoples opinions of others. Lets just try and catch Finn in a better mood this time."
