Okay, seriously, scrapping characters every time you hit a roadblock does not help anyone. You're wasting your own time, as well as anyone who took the time to help you or RP with you. Your skill as a role player is judged by how you overcome roadblocks, the different ways you can come up with to improve yourself. You have to create your own RP style, not rely on special techniques. Scrapping your characters because you realized your techniques weren't as OP as you thought just makes you worse. If that was common practice, I probably would have scrapped David the second I realized that the sand techniques were open to anyone with the sand element. But no, I carried on with him, because I want to grow the character, and develop his style and personality. I'm not going to dump him for something minor like the fact he can't create sand from midair or something.

Scrapping character's constantly because they aren't as powerful as you want them to be really isn't fair not only to us the crew (because we have to keep re-approving you for RPC's), but for people who are RP'ing with you. For instance, for Mage, it is now as if the past few weeks of talking with your character didn't even happen, time he could've spent training or even developing a relationship with a character that wasn't just going to up and disappear.

Characters NEED flaws. That's the thing, all characters can't be perfect. If we all had RPC's that had every ability we ever wanted them to have, and were able to attain them way too easily, 1. No one would ever die, 2. The storyline would NEVER progress, and 3. Roleplaying would be all to boring and all to easy. To be honest, I wouldn't see teh point in RP'ing unless my character had obstacles to overcome. We all need goals in character. Whether it be learning the styles and jutsu you want, finding and defeating an arch nemesis, or even learning how to use your character in a way to help cover for his weaknesses.

A weakness doesn't always mean certain death. In fact, if you are a good enough RP'er (and I think you are), then your character over time can learn to overcome them through trial and error. Look at Naruto for example: His personal goals were to get stronger, become a hokage, and have the respect of everyone in his village. And being someone who was so widely hated, it wasn't and still isn't an easy task (since he hasn't attained the Hokage position yet). Would you honestly watch the series if it was basically 25 episodes because he flew through the ranks, learned everything he wanted, and was basically created to be the best shinobi since day one? Heck, even the Kyuubi is a personal weakness because of the lack of control he has over it! But still, the character progresses. He strides forward with the abilities he has in the hopes of gaining new ones, and learning how to control his weakness and even use them to his advantage.

In this manner, you should be able to do the same. Things won't always be perfect, I won't lie to you. If they were, I'd have the Ranmaru bloodline AND the Ushio clan and I'd be basically unbeatable. But I even encouraged making a rule against having a bloodline and clan for one RPC because things NEED to be challenging. Where's the fun in everything coming along easily?

I hope you understand what I'm trying to say and take it to heart. You are a fine roleplayer, and I hate to see you run through RPC's because one thing about them is off. Besides, Gregar really doesn't like doing any extra work he doesn't have to xd

So hopefully, this new RPC is here to stay. I'd hate to meet him and then have to pretend I never met him if he disappears again.
