Cabron LaSwan Medeus FFFFFFFFFUUUU-- I just realized that all those people I deleted from my Yahoo friendslist can see me, cuz I'm not invisible to them anymore.... -.- First thing idiot-that-i-dont-wanna-talk-to says: "Hey. What Sup?" ......really? Hey Med. What sup?
That sounds like a Dark Ages term.
"What sup, wench?" "Venison and mead, milord."
<******** THAT, GO MAKETH ME A SANDWICH" xd Ima start saying it like that now.... Also, I think she's enjoying that.

I've recently read a poll that says 38% of Americans believe that the disaster in Japan is a sign from God. The FOX News ReportIt also says "29% believe God punishes nations for the sins of it's citizens" and "56% say that God is in complete control of what happens in the world." I've brainstormed what all of this data means and I've come up with a very profound conclusion to this tomfoolery: If these figures are correct and accurate and represent input of all of America (unlikely, but I'm not ruling out the possibility), then that means at least 38% of Americans are out of their damn minds...and FOX News STILL blows a**.Especially that fat-faced ******** Glenn Beck. I want to break my TV every time I see his ugly mug.

And besides that, even as stupid as each of those percentages of people seem, they are free to believe whatever they like.

I'm not even 100% sure those are accurate, considering they're Fox News numbers. Even so, the numbers are scary. I realize people have the right to believe whatever they want, but really...where do you draw the line between belief and bullshit? Why would you worship a God that kills people for doing something he doesn't agree with? Why would you say that God gives you free will and then say he's in control of everything?

Besides, I'm not even 100% sure those are accurate, considering they're Fox News numbers. The sample group that they surveyed also could skew those numbers to one direction or another. If they surveyed people in one area, then that could change things, or if they were surveying only religious people, that could change things as well. Obviously, the only way to get an accurate answer would be to survey every single person in the United States.

Considering the stigma that lingers on against atheists and agnostics, that might be the case right there, especially for those neo-con dipshits on Fox. I'm not sure what the results would be if we surveyed every American, but considering that America continues to be one of the most religious first-world countries, I'm scared of the possible results. I've heard people in Europe convert churches into poor houses, apartment complexes, etc. I haven't seen any of that in America; there should be more of that in this country.

There's probably a pretty good reason for that, too. The United States IS very religious, but it is also a country of immigrants. Part of the reason that religion is so much more widespread around here might have to do with maintaining a cultural identity. I don't know if that actually has anything to do with it, but it's interesting to think about. So many other countries that have moved away from being so religious generally seem to have fewer immigrants.

J of The Wind Hobo Scruffy J of The Wind Hobo Scruffy Curious
um has anyone else been having suicidal thoughts lately? :c Unfortunately, yes, but boundless optimism is a good counter... What's on your mind, Scruffy? I'm often overwhelmed and lonely, but in general I feel really good about myself. For whatever reason, those thoughts just jump in there anyway.
u sad, J?Yeah, I just feel like I'm barely scraping by in life... It's getting tougher the closer I get to finishing college and I can't seem to get anything right... In short, life is kicking my a**... *hugs* You're doing great, J. By making others happy, you're making the world a better place.~
