Laughing she nodded.
"Indeed bending the rules of reality to ones will many times ends with a backlash from the heavens. Though in my earlier days I would lying to say I have been one to feel the pain of mana burn. But I suppose I've reached a level of skill that evades such dangers."
Crossing her arms over her chest she smiled.
"So what brings you to the Orion. Just as I have said there are few who utilize mana here, so I doubt that is your aim."

He looked as if to be in thought, going so far as to stroke a nonexistant beard upon his chin with a hand that displayed five diamonds lodged in the flesh and bone of his fingers past the first knuckle, "One would assume that with so few magic users an Archmagi and Soul Forge Brother as myself would hold a distinct advantage, wouldn't you think? I may have settled down into married life, but I still thirst for battle. There is no greater reason for which to fight than for one's loved ones, I fight to keep sharp for her, should The Overlord return to steal her from me again. Whether it be through the arcane or my death."

Nodding she smiled at his answer.
"I suppose that is a similar reason for why I come here myself. Though I have no one in particular to protect like you do, I like to keep up my skills both mentally and physically. My guild hires me out for to help those in need thus keeping up my combat skill as well as my casting abilities is important in my line of work."
Grinning she smirked at meeting a Archmagi in all places as the Orion.
"I must say its strange to meet one of you level. I personally cannot claim to be an Archmagi, but I do have the skills to deemed a high. Though I'm working to rectify that."

Tor gestures wide as his wings flashed out behind him for a brief moment, making a half bow, "I am what I am, and so much more. Being an Archmagi wasn't enough, so I pressed further. Perhaps I could show you some of my tricks of the trade, as it were, sometime. Else I could simply show off my abilities that do not stem from Arcana. Aah!" His head twictched as an orb of red light poped out his ear, or so it seemed. It was little more than a point of light, but it was bothersome all the same. Tor reached out and swiped the pinpoint of crimson light as it darted to pass through Epi, his hand straying a bit too close than he would have liked. He pulled his hand back quickly, and when it opened the light was gone, "Speaking of which..."

Shaking her head she smiled.
"No need. As I said I'm a high mage thus I am only a step behind a Arch. Though I actually have a specilization in time/space magic. I assume your a general mage, but I could be mistaken."
Seeing the Orb of light hover about she blinked wondering what its use was. As it passed through her she furrowed her brow.
"Peculiar to say the least...."

Tor glanced around as he spoke, as if searching for the light, distracted, "Time and Space, a tricky bit to deal with. I too once dabbled in temporal magics, but I had those powers locked away by my father. He wasn't fond of cleaning up after me all the time. It is his purpose, after all." Had the man just hinted at divine heritage? Nah, couldn't be.
He glanced back to her, "As for my specialization, I have mastered Illusion and Transmutation. The figments I create are so powerful that only a rare few can distinguish between fake and fact, even then it gets rather perilous. Where the hell is he..."

Nodding she smiled finding him a little pompous at times. Catching the clue about the god like abilities of his father she nodded running her hand through her hair.
"I never was very skilled with illusions, but I do a bit of transmutation in my spell casting.
Smiling she tilted her head wondering who his father was.
"Who might you be waiting for here?"

He didn't seem to hear the first bit, distracted in his search for Shar, but at her querie his gaze fell back to her, "Hmm? Oh! I'm not waiting for anyone, I'm looking for someone. I know you saw him. He poped, and the flew and..." He was gesturing towards her chest, where Shar had darted through.
Shar was, in fact, sitting right behind her, using her aura as a hiding place from his 'brother's' methods of finding him. The small pinpoint of light was pulsating slightly, making him seem to be laughing.
Tor glared around, scanning the ceiling, "I know he's here somewhere..."

Nodding she realized that the Red orb was what he was searching for. Blinking dumbly she looked toward the floating red orb.
"Uhhh...what is that? It has a wavelength as if its alive though...."
Not sure what to think of the moment she shrugged trying to think of something to say.
"Uhhh would you like to me to cast a stasis spell on it?"

Slowly chain links seemed to form within the mass, "You might want to keep out of the way. Shar usually doesn't appreciate being captured."
