@Cheesecake - Whoot!I used to play contra bass in middle school, but the high school doesn't have one...=(
Let's see what our band is composed of....(no pun intended ><) Concert Band: 5 clarinets 1.5 bass clarinets (I'm section leader, the other one is only there half the time due to skipping, and half of the times she is there she's texting...) 1 oboe 6 flutes 2 french horns 3 trombones 3 baritones 7 trumpets 5 alto saxs 3 tenor saxs 1 bari sax who can just go jump off a cliff(2 years playing it,and she still can't control the volume...screws everybody up) I want to say around 10percussionists.This is all not including weird band. They only do marching.
Marching Band: 5 clarinets 1.5 bass clarinets 1 oboe 9 flutes 3 trombones 3 baritones 6 trumpets 5 alto saxs 3 tenor saxs 1 on the bells 4 on snare/cowbell 3 on bass drum 1 on tritom 1 on quads 2 on crash symbol
Add to the mix a slightly insane BD and the insanity of Nakie Time(aka whenever we have to change into our uniforms on the bus, usually at the Big-E or 6 Flags),and you've got our band. 3nodding

Wow! My band fells so small XD lol oh well were a small school. We have 7 flutes and 1 piccolo during concert band and during marching band we have 7 flutes (one of them becomes a flaget (gard memeber -.- we call them flagets though...) Oh well, size doesn't really matter right? My band won the Christmas parade against a huge band and they were good! ^^

Horntastic There is one horn in our horn section. That might be two soon, though xD Same here. I was the only one until I needed a trumpet to cover it so I could switch for marching season. BUT she's staying on horn for concert and after marching I'm going back so... 1 + 1 = 2 horn players blaugh

as far as the band completely (for marching) and I know this for a fact because of copying music for 4 hours D:
Flutes - 4 (1 of them is pic) Clarinets - 6 Horn - 1 Sax - 4 Tenor - 2 Bari - 1 Trumpets - 6 (possibly 7) Trombones - 3 Baritone - 1 Sousa - 1 Percussion - 5 I think and guard I'm not sure
plus 2 field commanders (both sax players)
but 1 percussionist is a clarinet player normally
In guard we have an oboe player, 3 flutes (I think), 1 sax, and then like 3 or 4 girls that haven't chosen instruments yet.

Concert band: Eleven or twelve flutes Six clarinets Three french horns Four trumpets Four alto saxes One tenor sax One bari sax Two oboes Four euphoniums Three tubas Too many percussionists xd
Marching band: (I don't know this year's numbers, so I'll go with last year) Eight alto saxes Nine trumpets Five mellophones Six baritones Three tubas Nine clarinets Eight flutes Eleven in drumline Eight in pit Fourteen in color guard (About half of them were seniors...D= )
I have no idea about this year's marching band numbers, mainly because we have a shitload of new percussionists and guard members. xd All I know is that we have around eight clarinets and five saxes (possibly six).
