He began to walk around town looking for a different way there. When walking past one of the buildings he saw a poster that had "Iron Island" written on it. He walked up to it and read that it said there was a ferry taking people there. "There's my way there!" he yelled out, sprinting off towards the dock.

Brayden continued to watch the waves as the fishing boat made its way under the bridge in Canalave. He spotted the area where he had first found Sai. So it looked like the Vaporeon had followed him through the river as he crossed the bridge. Made sense, he realized, considering it was a shorter route.

Bray nodded, heeding Kaya's words, "Its true," he admitted, "We don't really take as much care for our world as we should," he frowned slightly, "There are few places left that are untouched by human hands."
"Although in all likelihood, they probably would have been by now if it weren't for nature's own protection," he smiled, "Places like the Whirl Islands are cut off from human contact for the most part, simply because we find it inconvenient to travel there."
Brayden looked down to the hull of the ship, spotting a Shellos clinging to the side. The sticky water slug Pokemon was a water type he hadn't caught yet, so Brayden looked to Kaya, smiling, "Would you hold Mac for a sec?" he requested, motioning quietly to the still-snoozing Phione.

"Thanks," Brayden smiled, handing Mac over. The Phione didn't seem to be put out by the change in position at all. He merely snuggled into Kaya's arms, smiling contentedly, causing Brayden to chuckle.
"I have to agree, you make a good pillow," he grinned, before turning his attention back to the slug slowly creeping up the side of the ship.
"I have to admit, these aren't my favorite Pokemon, but its a water type," Brayden laughed, before reaching for his belt. He summoned Ariadne before him, the Gardevoir looking to the Shellos, before turning to Brayden.
'You're kidding, right?' she sighed to Brayden's shrug.
"I'm hoping to catch this one, so don't toast it, kay?" he requested.
'Mm, whatever, boss. Don't know why you'd want that slimeball...'
Seemed her mental voice carried to more than just Brayden, as the Shellos huffed, spewing out a Mud Bomb. Ariadne suddenly found herself coated in mud. The Gardvoir sputtered, clearly not enjoying the botanical treatment as she flung her arm out.
'That's it, you DIE!' she shouted mentally, blasting an Energy Ball at the Shellos. Thankfully, it wasn't enough to kill the slimy stowaway, but the Shellos definitely looked a little woozy.
"Cali, I said don't toast it!" Brayden laughed, earning a glare from the muddy psychic. Ariadne rolled her eyes, but stood down, as the Shellos sort of took the hint, shaking its head to clear it from the psychic assault.
Hoping to redeem itself, the Shellos fired off a Water Pulse, which really did wash off some of the mud. But now it had a soggy, dirty Gardevoir to worry about.
Brayden took the opportunity to throw a Pokeball before she decided to finish off her annoyance.

Brayden, and Ariadne, watched the ball as it rolled onto the deck of the ship, although both had different agendas for doing so. Brayden was relieved, and Aria was a bit grumpy, as the ball finally stilled, pinging softly.
'You're lucky...' Ariadne shot at the ball indignantly, before hovering over the side of the ship to wash off a bit. Brayden bit back the chuckle until he was out of earshot of the Gardevoir, which probably didn't do much, considering she was attuned to his feelings. He lifted the Shellos's Pokeball from the deck, transporting it to his PC for the time being.
"Hm... looks like it was a female," he commented, looking up the Shellos's stats on his Pokedex for a minute.

He could tell these waters were cool, but not really cold, and he could feel that they were cleaner than most. "How would you know that?" he asked Brayden playfully, wondering when the younger boy had used him for a pillow that he didn't know about. Event! Ariadne returned a bit later, cleaner, but still a bit grumpy. She returned to her Pokeball, proceeding to give Brayden a mental tirade on why in the world he'd want such a gross Pokemon. Brayden could only smile, shaking his head slightly.
"I have the feeling those two aren't going to get along too well," he chuckled.
"Hm?" Brayden looked to Kaya as the prince asked his question, "Oh, well," he murmured, flushing, "I was semi-referring to Lilycove when you saved me," he admitted with a small smile, "After Saron fished me from the water," he explained.
"I have to say nothing made me feel better than when you held me," he managed to get out, "I think that's what made me have the strength to get up then. About then all I really wanted to do was roll over and die," he laughed, "Kay, nothing that melodramatic, but I was definitely willing to take a nap right then and there to recover a bit. I never looked at type disadvantages the same way again after that," he murmured.
"Haha, didn't mean to turn all depressing again, though," he chuckled, shaking his head.
"But believe me, I'm fair witness to your pillow powers," he grinned.

"Oh yeah...so much has happened since then, I almost forgot about that." he admitted quietly. "I can honestly say the same thing from my experience as a Leafeon hybrid." he added. Though his was more towards the resistance end of the spectrum. "Oh goodie, now I'm the Stay Puft marshmallow man..." he said playfully, watching as the ship docked and disembarking as quickly as possible. "We'd better disappear before they call the cops on me..." he said after a moment, grabbing Brayden's hand and leading him towards the Pokecenter as quickly as possible. {Appearance: (7/7}

"Why would they call the cops?" Brayden asked, curious.
