Grave smiled and stood reaching a long slender arm out across the table. He took the pale blue hand, clasping it more like a gentleman would greet a lady than a gent, and repeated it with the gold hand offered. "A pleasure." He said with an easy smile. "My name is Grave." Grave said, and glanced over his shoulder to the fine-framed Arwen. "And this is Arwen, a regular here." Grave smiled to her reassuringy. He didn't want her to leave, and these two seemed friendly enough.

Blinking with a bit of surprise, Argentum smiled as Grave shook his hand but immediately frowned as Arwen moved off, looking concerned. "Ah.... no need to leave...." He tilted his head to the side a little, looking a little hurt. No one had walked away like that before - most would at least hello.

Aureus, glanced from Argentum to Arwen and back then sighed, offering her a bright smile, "No working for the time being. Unless of course you have work to do...?" He spoke kindly, also wanting her to stay but not wanting her to feel obligated either. Argentum fluttered his wings and nodded, also smiling.

The youth managed to stop her motion gracefully, all but spinning on her heel to face Grave and the twins again with wide eyes. She hadn't been aware she was part of the conversation, and she suddenly felt...small, being surrounded by Ones. "My apologies," she addressed the cornflower blue and soft gold males, "I thought you were speaking to dear Grave here." Arwen smiled apologetically to her friend as well, stepping behind him and putting one hand on the back of his chair, the other extending shyly to offer to shake hands with the twins. She felt positively dainty in comparison to the three males. "It's nice to meet both of you," she said cordially.

She still wasn't used to being receptive to her peers, but she was earnestly trying. "I have no work to do," she assured Aureus, "merely studies, but I do that in every waking spare moment. A break would be welcome." There, that wasn't so bad, she told herself, still smiling. Arwen was a little amazed that she wasn't balking or otherwise burying her nose in a book; she supposed, in her own way, she was growing a little as well.

Allure smiled coolly at Danna as he gathered his own notes, "I have to go too... It was a pleasure Danna. Your company was very..." He rolled his eyes skyward as he looked for the right word. "Educating. I'll see you around yes?"

Without waiting for a reply, Allure assumed an affirmative and abandoning his books to some hapless library aid darted, gracefully, if thats even possible towards the exit, his braid like a streamer behind him

(Yes I know it was abrupt, but considering I have no idea how often I can be on I thought it best to close the RP so Danna wouldn't be left in the library ^_^)

Grave felt a distinct wave of relief as they all remained in the room. He extended one hand to the chair next to his and pulled it out so that Arwen could sit down again. As he did so he cast a pleasant smile around the room. "Please, take a seat you two." Grave waited until Arwen took a seat before he'd slide into his own.

"Oh no no, to both of you." Argentum looked relieved and smiled broadly as Arwen didn't leave. "The pleasure is ours." He shook her hand, a gesture that was echoed by Aureus.

He nodded at her reply, "Excellent. A break is a good idea if you study that much, don't want to wear yourself out." He smiled, turning to Grave. "Thank-you." Argentum bobbed his head in a similar gesture of thanks as they found a pair of chairs and sat down side by side. Wings rustled as they shifted and got comfortable, resting their elbows lightly on the edge of the table.

"We haven't seen you before, are you new, Arwen?" Argentum added, smiling at both Grave and Arwen, coming up with a new theory as he thought over their interactions, "Or perhaps old friends meeting once more?"

Arwen took the offered seat with a gentle, "Thank you," folding her delicate hands together on the table after the pleasantries were through. "One in the same," she answered Argentum with a wistful smile, glancing over at Grave. "I delved much into the aforementioned studies, and have met few outside of my friend Grave." While she couldn't say why, it seemed important to speak of 'friend' and 'Grave' together in the same sentence. The day had been full of oddities and revelations; what's a few more?

Bright crimson eyes flickered over the twins and their wings, fascinated despite her mostly neutral expression. "I believe I awakened the same time as Grave did, however...I seem to have lost track of time." She blinked languidly, as though trying to pin a forgotten memory. "Seeing him now has given me pride for all he has done, and now I feel the need to aspire to match him."

The girl turned her gaze between Grave, Argentum and Aureus, lifting a dainty hand to brush deep garnet locks over her shoulder. "I count myself lucky to have met the Ones I have." She paused, before adding as earnestly as she dared, not wanting to show too much, "It is an inspiration to meet all of you."

Grave felt the slow grin blooming over his features before he could stop himself. Arwen's praise flattered him immensely, and yet he was glad for it. He appreciated her opinion, perhaps more than that of most. That she thought so highly of him really did mean the world.

"In truth, I haven't met too many Ones." Grave spoke, his voice relaxed and easy. "I spend the majority of my time here working, and mostly it's just the students who deem to pay me a visit. So, now that I have the opportunity..." Grave shifted forward in his seat a little, giving his tail a little room to curl up. "If I may ask a few questions, I must admit I'm curious as to the work of a Nurse. What sort of tasks are yours to attend?"

Argentum flushed and looked down at the praise, smiling happily, while Aureus grinned in response, tilting his head to the side. Althought with Grave's comment, he looked over and frowned a little, "None of the others visit you? That's a shame."

Argentum glanced up as well, frowning, "That's not particularly nice." Sitting up straighter, he flashed Grave a brilliant and charming smile, "Welcome to Stage One!"[/]color] Had they been standing, Argentum would have likely offered a hug in congratulations. Turning his gaze to Arwen he flashed his smile at her as well, "And to you as well, once you've completed your classes."

Aureus nodded, echoing Argentum's smile. "Perhaps we could arrange a luncheon of some sort. It would be easy enough, I think."
He would have continued had he not remembered Grave's question. "Ah. Nursing. We..." He trailed off and Argentum filled the gap, so that they almost seamlessly continued the train of thought.

"Assist Euphrasia and Tryna with treating injuries and illnesses, watching over patients, paper work, and the like. It's usually fairly quiet but we get the odd visitor..." He smiled and shook his head, laughing softly, "And the occasional regular. Torrid, I believe, is someone you know - he's in the infirmary quite a bit."

"It's nice and straightforward and the Aviary is close by so we take our breaks there. Mostly, however, it's keeping stocks of medicines up, mixing the occasional remedy, and comforting patients." He smiled, gaze playing across Grave and then settling on Arwen, "Though we'd honestly rather see people like this then in a bed, nursing a wound or illness."

"Thank you," she replied to Argentum at his far-early welcome, although the kindness was not lost on the girl. Arwen sat still, quiet as her crimson gaze shifted between speakers. She didn't understand everything that was being spoken of, but she wasn't bothered by it, expecting that it would make sense once she joined their ranks. If anything, the lack of comprehension made her desire to catch up with Grave even stronger.

Her eyes shifted to her friend as the three talked, taking in his handsome visage and his growth. What would being a One hold for her? She felt something strange in her chest, but she brushed it off; had she known better, she would have understood the feeling to be anticipation.

Arwen blinked as something brushed her leg, glancing down to see Grave's curled tail, the fur poking out from his chair. She was drawn by the overwhelming curiosity to see if it was as soft as it looked and, without thinking that it was as much a part of Grave as his arm or leg, dropped one hand to touch the stray fur with delicate fingers.

What could it mean?
A small fragment on parchment caught under the grill in the main common room's hearth. It cast such a pretty flickering shadow across the carpet with the flames above on the logs dancing so warmly. This fragment alone fluttered down under the grill to escape being burned.

There seems to be the remains of a letter on it... I wonder who wrote it?

User ImageIt had been awhile since the young Phlegm stepped into the Library. Her sea green eyes glancing around. Yalitza was use to it by now, the silence becoming almost a comfort to her. Her mind was set on one thing at this point. Grabbing some books then leaving.

Setting her bag down, she thinks about the classes she knew she would have to catch up on. Her eyes fell upon the Astronomy section, it would be a good place to start. Leaving her bag on the table she slips place the tables heading toward the section.

She was quiet, for her that was rather different as she was use to always laughing or smiling. But when you lock yourself away, you learn to adjust to what you have around yourself.

Her eyes skim the titles, looking for the perfect book.

In the time that Yalitza had sequestered herself away, the twins had grown. Now regal and sophisticated twos, the pair of them sat around a table, regarding a map of the stars and comparing it to a sheaf of notes that they had placed beside it.

Wings fluttering, Aureus and Argentum huddled together, one leaning against the other as they drew lines and measured angles, made notes and murmured about the best times for certain aspects of their work.

User ImageAfter a few minutes of debating she pulls out a book "Introduction to Astronomy, this sounds like a book I could use. Now what would be the next area to look around in." stepping away from the bookshelves, her eyes look over the different sections once more. It was only that moment she spotted familiar colors.

She stood in spot, staring at the twins in awe. She had been gone for so long, they grew on her. But she could still tell them apart, question was would they still welcome her. Chewing at she bottom lip, she moves to her own table setting the book down.

Quietly slipping through the maze of other tables, she makes her way to Aureus and Argentum's table. She stood there just watching them before she took in a deep breath "Studying like always, you two don't change."

They paused at the same time, exchanging glances for a moment before turning in unison to regard the owner of the familiar voice... "Yalitza!" They called out upon seeing her, their expressions lighting up. A moment later, the little Phlegm would find herself in a cheerful group hug. "How've you been?"

Pulling away they regarded her with warm looks. It had been a long time since they'd seen her and wanted to know everything that happened to their 'little sister'. "Nothing's been wrong, has it?" Genuine concern filled their expressions as they gazed at her as though trying to determine the answer without hearing her answer.
