Rin slowly made her way toward the arcade, listening quietly as groups of people talking amongst themselves about the chaos earlier in the day. She couldn't help but chuckle at some of their responses as they ranged from cautious to terrified. The thought of the Senshi quickly soured her mood as she remembered how easily that one mysteriously annoying senshi foiled her plan. To make things worse, Rin was far from finding out where the crystals and talismans were. She groaned in frustration as she kicked a small rock and continued walking. Rin had to think of more ways to search for those crystals and talismans.

Just as she entered the arcade, her phone went off to notify her she had received a text. She took out her phone as she sat down at one of the Sailor V games, reading the text she received from Usagi. "Hi Rin-chan! I'm just in the city at the moment taking care of something... Can I message you when I'm finished and we can catch up then?" She sighed as she started up the game, trying to distract herself. “Of course, she would be busy," Rin thought to herself, "especially after her friends practically dragged her off after finding her with me. No matter once we have what we need, Kuroyami and I won't be here any longer."

She spent her time focusing on the Sailor V arcade game, zoning out as she fought the monsters and took her frustration out on them through the game.

"Minna... thank you for everything you all have done today. Can we please all meet later at Rei's Shrine... there's something.... Mamoru... and I need to tell you all."

"A meeting? What...do you need to tell us?"
"See you later in the evening Chibiusa. Let me know if we want to get together afterward to catch up."
"Y-Yeah, I'll see you later, Hotaru-chan."

Sailor Uranus didn't say anything during the time Usagi, Mamoru, and Chibiusa were talking, having high respect for the three, in particular, she just listened to Chibiusa telling Mamoru and Usagi what happened, then the conversation began to get heavier and more personal.

"Mamo-chan... Usagi... we met another Senshi today. She helped distract the youma and defeat it... Luna told us she was from Planet Jupiter. I think she might know what happened to Mako-chan and maybe the others... thing is... she told us her name was Sailor Nova, but later Luna told us her real Senshi name… it's Sailor Sagittarius, she is a constellation Senshi. We don't know much about her... but I think she can help us! I wish she didn't run off so fast afterwards, I tried my best to call out to her but she was gone. I think a few of the others are going to go after her instead... Luna said we need to find her before the enemy does. There was also another... figure, a lady that showed up and told us she's going to find... the crystals and the talismans... then… she threatened us. Usagi... we really needed you today... you and Mamo-chan... ...What's going on?"

"We need to talk, Chibiusa." There was sadness in Mamoru's quiet voice as he finally mustered some strength to speak towards Chibiusa. "You, me and Usako need to have a heart to heart discussion with one another."
Mamoru looked past Chibiusa over at Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune, hoping that they would understand that what was about to be discussed was between them. Once that was settled, they would join back with the others to inform everyone what's going on.

Making eye contact with Mamoru, his hint was loud and clear. Turning towards Sailor Neptune, Uranus gave a nod and then turned back to Mamoru. "We understand. Don't hesitate to contact us if you need us, Prince. We'll both catch up with you later." pushing out a reassuring smile at the end of her sentence.
Sailor Uranus turned to Sailor Neptune and spoke to her "Let’s both head to the arcade, shall we?" giving her partner a smile before turning around and walking off. While they were still in the ruins, Sailor Uranus untransformed back to her usual self before anyone had noticed.

Entering inside the arcade, it wasn’t the usual atmosphere, her eyes shifted to Motoki who was usually behind the counter, giving him a quick wave as a greeting. Haruka's usual direction would normally be where the racing simulators were, but her eyes shifted to the Sailor V game, noticing a familiar pink-haired acquaintance. "It's that girl Usagi made friends with... what's she doing here?" she whispered to Michiru as she eyed the pink-haired acquaintance, then for a moment she looked over towards where all the racing car simulators were.
Haruka's eyes widened for a moment like she was seeing things, there stood Sailor Sagittarius for a split second which made Haruka blink when she saw the vision. "That girl is..." The girl had changed back once Haruka blinked and wore normal clothes, but one item she wore looked familiar, the apron.
"Michiru... keep an eye on that pink-haired girl, Rin, I think her name was. That other girl over by the racing cars... I can't help but get this feeling about her... like we just met her. I've got an idea..." she whispered, wondering if Michiru had seen the vision Haruka saw.
The two had their own body language, and only in a short sentence spoke more than that. Haruka was telling Michiru that she had sensed something from both the pink-haired acquaintance and the other girl who was spaced out by the racing simulators. Being a regular, Haruka could definitely tell there was something about the arcade today that was different from the rest of the days she visited.
Knowing Michiru may or may not approach the pink-haired acquaintance, they were able to cover at least both of the girls each and try to talk with them.
Walking up to the racing simulator, Haruka went around it to see the front of the girl who stood there. The strong aura that surrounded the girl Haruka was able to feel around Sailor Sagittarius from before and it was very vivid, however, Haruka was going to act the complete opposite towards the girl instead, giving a more friendlier approach.
Her eyes shifted to the machine, and as she got closer Haruka's index finger subtly pressed the disable button on the side, making the machine seem "faulty" as it disabled the function to use the pedals.

"Hm? Oh, I've not seen you before... you okay? you’re spaced out… so what’s your name?" Haruka said as she played dumb, leaning back on the racing machine for a moment and giving a wave in front of the girl's face to wake her up, getting a good look at the girl's face before sitting down on the racing simulator she had tampered with. ”It’s her. I knew it… there’s no doubt about it.” Haruka thought to herself as she narrowed her eyes a little, the only way to confirm it is to get her to talk and answer Haruka’s questions. Placing her foot on the pedal, it was jammed and didn’t move downwards.
"That's strange... this one isn't working. Do you mind having a look at it for me, please?" Pulling on an invisible rope with her words, Haruka made sure the girl wasn't just going to leave her alone and gave her a reason to stay with her. "I'm Haruka Tenou, I'm a regular here... I actually use this racing simulator a lot. Judging by that new apron you have on... you're new, right?" The girl had fold creases from the new apron being folded for so long, her maroon red apron was a lot brighter than Motoki's, which his looked worn. Haruka's eyes shifted to Michiru for a moment, then back up to the girl as she awaited her response.

As Kira stood by the racing machines, she couldn't help but think back to the Senshi. Lots of things bothered her about the battle and she couldn't just switch it off. Kira felt someone move past her as she heard the person's words but she didn't take much notice until the hand in front of her.

Quote:
"Hm? Oh, I've not seen you before... you okay? you’re spaced out… so what’s your name?"

Their words echoed until the hand that waved in front of her gave her another fright, as she returned back to reality.

"Ah! G-Gomen I--" turning to face the TALL HANDSOME MAN, Kira's heart skipped a beat. Yes, she was fluctuated by his gentle features as she made eye contact with them, it was almost as if she had seen them before.

"Wow... he's gorgeous!" she thought to herself as her eyes twinkled in awe. Seeing that they were waiting for her reply, Kira paused for a moment as she stumbled over her words. "Uh-I... I'm Kira. And yes, I-I'm okay, just was in my own world for a moment there hahaha..."

Quote:
"That's strange... this one isn't working. Do you mind having a look at it for me, please?"

Tilting her head in confusion for a moment, she wondered why they were asking her such a thing before she remember she worked at the arcade now. "Uh? OH Right! Yes! Uhhh..." Kira walked to the other side of the machine and looked at it, pressing a few buttons on the top panel to see if anything she did change anything on the screen. Kira could feel the handsome man watching her as if it was some sort of test, Kira already felt nervous enough around them as it is, and now this?
As she was playing around 'testing' the machine, she heard their voice speak up again.
Quote:
"I'm Haruka Tenou, I'm a regular here... I actually use this racing simulator a lot. Judging by that new apron you have on... you're new, right?"

Kira's eyes shifted to Haruka, as she repeated their name "Haruka Tenou?" standing up straight, Kira moved a lock of her wavy hair behind her ear and answered their question.
"Heh... is it that obvious? That's right, I just moved here so I'm still pretty new. So, Haruka... you're a regular? Do you come here alone? Is there uh... anyone I should keep an eye out for? Can you tell me anything I may need to know?" Kira couldn't help but blush as she thought "Why am I feeling really... flustered around them? like I have... butterflies in my stomach?" This was the first time Kira felt this way, now that she was able to put aside her Senshi duties for a moment, she was able to focus on her other feelings she never thought she had.

Kira didn't feel, sense, or recognize Haruka, as it was her first time being approached by a Sailor Senshi, not in their usual form. Kira didn't know what to look for when it came to that, even with the enemy nearby, Kira wasn't street smart at all, and would trust just about anyone. Haruka would easily be able to tell that from how Kira was acting, it was just the typical high-school crush body language Kira gave off and was as if Kira and Sailor Sagittarius/ Nova were really two different people.

Listening to the girl, Haruka watched the ray of emotions switch through Kira, one minute she came off as reserved, then her eyes twinkled at her for a few moments. Haruka was used to this by now and from what she saw when Sailor Sagittarius was around her made her a little surprised, considering Kira was easily submissive towards her in the sense she wasn't hiding her feelings.

Watching Kira come to the other side, Kira was pressing all the buttons on the top, whereas the button that Haruka pressed was hidden on the side of the machine which wasn't obvious.
Kira looked like she was already having trouble, but Haruka didn't want Kira to go and get Motoki just yet. Trying to hide the amused expression behind her usual serious visage, Kira answered Haruka's next question.

"Heh... is it that obvious? That's right, I just moved here so I'm still pretty new. So, Haruka... you're a regular? Do you come here alone? Is there uh... anyone I should keep an eye out for? Can you tell me anything I may need to know?"

"Since you've asked... I actually came here with Michiru." she said, gesturing towards Michiru for a moment in the distance who was by Rin. Then Haruka's attention went back to Kira. "A few of our friends come here often, you might see Motoki's fiancé from time to time... and quite possibly his best friend Mamoru."
Haruka paused for a moment, the thought of Mamoru's name might trigger something, purposely, Haruka continued to speak. "And the other regulars are Rei Hino... Minako Aino... Ami Mizuno... Makoto Kino and Usagi Tsukino. Usagi is a good friend of ours, she often visits daily, can't miss that Bunhead. You'll know what I mean when you see her." giving Kira a hint, and dropping her usual nickname for the Princess she knew. Haruka couldn't help smile a little with her comment about Usagi for a moment before she drew her attention back to Kira again.
"So, Kira, what was it you were daydreaming about? Not those Three Light's members?" Haruka joked lightly, then probed her a little more. "You seemed quite distracted back there, anything you want to talk about? Sometimes talking to someone you don't know helps as the opinion isn't biased." Wondering what it was Kira was thinking about.

"Since you've asked... I actually came here with Michiru."

Looking over at Michiru, Kira noticed that same familiar hair, but then again this was Earth, probably lots of people had her hair color, right??
"She's also really pretty... these Earth people are so attractive." Kira's eyes shifted towards the pink-haired female, she too also looked familiar but Kira's attention didn't last as she looked back at Haruka.

Quote:
"A few of our friends come here often, you might see Motoki's fiancé from time to time... and quite possibly his best friend Mamoru."

"Mamoru? That name..." Kira looked puzzled as to why that name sounded familiar, but the pieces didn't add up yet.

Quote:
"And the other regulars are Rei Hino... Minako Aino... Ami Mizuno... Makoto Kino and Usagi Tsukino. Usagi is a good friend of ours, she often visits daily, can't miss that Bunhead. You'll know what I mean when you see her."

The looked on Kira's face once again seemed a bit shocked. "It...can't be, it can't be the same people, can it?" A flashback came to her mind when she soared high in the sky above Usagi and Mamoru. Kira froze for a moment before hearing Haruka speak again, as she tried to ignore what happened back there.

Quote:
"So, Kira, what was it you were daydreaming about? Not those Three Light's members?"

Staring at Haruka, Kira looked away and blushed a little, puffing her cheeks up as answered "N-No! Of course not!" that definitely struck a nerve or two.

Quote:
"You seemed quite distracted back there, anything you want to talk about? Sometimes talking to someone you don't know helps as the opinion isn't biased."

The blush faded from Kira's cheeks, and her expression became saddened and yet bothered. Leaning on the racing machine's back seat, Kira sighed knowing Haruka had a point.
Thinking about how to word such events in a way it didn't seem like something else, Kira answered. "Y-Yeah... actually I was deep in thought... you see... before I came to the arcade, I met a big group of people--through a friend and we all have this one thing in common. It's a bit hard to explain but I just... feel like I shouldn't be around them? But the other part of me wants to see them all again, I just left too soon and then thought about the whole situation over and over in my head, and maybe I should listen to my heart a bit more because it was telling me to talk to them. Some of them were a bit easier to talk to... I just... think I really blew it, you know? These people I think would be hard to find---I mean the city is such a big place and all." Kira was unsure if her babbling made any sense to Haruka, but she continued with one last sentence. "One person I met... she was really nice. I guess I'm just scared because I don't want to lose any more friends. That heartache alone is really... really painful." Placing her hand over her chest, Kira remembered that feeling over again as she thought about Princess Jupiter and all her friends there. Placing her hand back down by her side, Kira spoke up again. "Gomen, that conversation was quite a heavy topic. Anyways I'm not really sure why the racing machine isn't working, but Motoki said I can call a number on the back and someone will come out it to look at it." Trying to change the subject and telling Haruka she was going to fix the problem of the racing machine, mustering up a smile at the handsome figure in front of her.

Kira's bashful expression gave away that she was a big fan, points to Haruka for playfully asking as it struck a nerve with Kira.
That was a bit cute, but Kira's expression didn't last as she continued to speak.

"Y-Yeah... actually I was deep in thought... you see... before I came to the arcade, I met a big group of people--through a friend and we all have this one thing in common. Haruka's expression changed a little bit as she had put her 'Senshi expression' on as if she were listening to Kira as Sailor Uranus, now focusing on what Kira was saying, as she knew exactly what and who she was referring to. It was a lot to take in, and Haruka could very much see Kira was troubled by this. Part of Haruka really wanted to openly talk to her, but now wasn't the right time considering Kira was at work.

"One person I met... she was really nice. I guess I'm just scared because I don't want to lose any more friends. That heartache alone is really... really painful."

To Haruka, it made her see Kira a little differently now, knowing when Kira said 'Some were easier to talk to' made Haruka think back, she wasn't one of them and deep down maybe Haruka was a bit too hard on Sailor Sagittarius at the time.
Kira cut her conversation short, and this was exactly what Haruka didn't want when Kira uttered "Gomen, that conversation was quite a heavy topic. Anyways I'm not really sure why the racing machine isn't working, but Motoki said I can call a number on the back and someone will come out it to look at it."

"Wait" Haruka said, grabbing the girls hand that was previously resting on her chest to stop her from going anywhere first, then realizing the reflex she did before releasing her hand. "Before you go anywhere..." Haruka started with, making eye contact with Kira, forgetting she wasn't in her Senshi form. "People can't help you if you're not willing to let them in." Even though Haruka wasn't the first person Kira would go to, not that she knew who Haruka was, she still tried to make an effort to talk to the girl. "You may think this city is big but..." Leaning in towards Kira, she continued "Everyone knows someone. And I think you'll find that those people you speak of are closer than you think." her words were cryptic enough to make Kira think. "Kira, sometimes you have to accept things that come to you, and instead of running from them... you should try embracing them. And you're right, listen to your heart. Heartache will happen no matter what, it's inevitable but you know what isn't? Friends... especially the ones you talk about, if they are hard to find then that's what makes them even more special, right?" Leaning back, Haruka smiled, then her gaze shifted to the machine as she pressed her foot on the accelerator, and with her right hand, she moved it to the side of the machine, pressing that same button that disabled the whole unit. Looking back at Kira, Haruka added "...One more thing you should know that Motoki didn't tell you... there's a button on the side that disables the whole simulator completely... Gomen Kira, I was just testing you, and you passed." Haruka said, giving her a wink and a smile to try and lighten the mood.

"Of course Your Highness. We will be in touch if you need us for anything and see you later on." She said with a wave to them all and a gentle smile as she turned and followed Sailor Uranus and de-transformed in a flutter of red rose petals and they headed to the arcade.
She entered the arcade by Haruka's side and looked in the direction of the Sailor V game she looked in the direction of both the girls. "Her presence does feel familiar. I will go over and talk with Rin while you talk with the brown haired girl. I will be over there shortly." She said with a smile at her partner.
Michiru moved over behind Rin and watched her play casually. "Hey your pretty good at this." She said to Rin. As she casually kept an eye on her partner. She saw her gesture her direction, waved at them and gave the girl a sweet smile. She turned back to watching Rin play the Sailor V game.

Hotaru had gone up to pay for the charms and headed to the rocks/minerals store about a block away. She entered in and was greeted by a male employee at the front. "Good afternoon is there anything I can help you find today miss?"
"I'm here to find some small pieces of some gems for a bracelet for two friends of mine. Last I was here you had some small pieces next to the larger ones. Are they still located next to the larger ones?" She asked.
"You are correct miss. If you find any that are empty please let one of us know and we might have some in the back." The male employee told her.
"Thank you! I will take a look and someone know if I need any further help." She smiled sweetly with her eyes closed.
She walked away and as she did she pulled out a list out of her computer bag. She looked at her list and saw she didn't have 4 of the gems she needed.

Gems I need for Usagi's bracelet:

* - don't have need to buy

Ami - Sapphire
Rei - Ruby*
Makoto - Emerald
Minako - Topaz*
Haruka - Amber
Michiru - Aquamarine*
Setsuna - Garnet*
Hotaru - Fluorite

Hotaru took 4 small vials and lids from a basket and took a few gem pieces from each of the containers she needed and dropped them in the 4 vials she had and placed the lid on each as well as a sticker that told the cashier what each of the gems were in the vials so they could be weighted. As she was heading up to the register. 'Oh I need something for Mamoru carry his gems in too.' She thought. She stopped and looked down an aisle that had some tiny glass bottles. She headed down it and picked up a three pack of small glass bottles. "This would be perfect." She said quietly.

User Image

She then headed towards the front to check out and placed the 4 vials and three pack of the tiny glass bottles.
"Did you find everything you needed today miss?" The same male employee that greeted her when she entered was at the register.
"I did. Thank you!" She told him.
He gave her total price.
She put her card into the machine and pulled it back out after it beeped at her.
He gave her a small bag with her items inside. "Have a nice day miss." He told her with a wave.
"Thank you! Have a great day as well." She smiled and placed her items in her backpack as she walked out the door. She checked her watch/communicator. "Looks like that took me about an hour and 15 minutes." She said quietly.
She wandered over to a crepe shop a few minutes away and ordered a brownie crepe with whip cream, almonds and chocolate drizzle. She paid for it and went to sit on a bench to check to see if she had any messages or missed calls while she ate her crepe.

Just as Kira was about to turn around, she felt a hand grab her hand followed by a "Wait" from Haruka, which made Kira abruptly stop and gasp, appearing a bit surprised. Haruka realized the reaction from Kira and let go, as it seemed to have stopped her from leaving.

Quote:
"Before you go anywhere..."

Kira couldn't really sense anything at that point but the whole background noise and people around her had blurred, it was as if Haruka and her were in a room together and only the two could hear each other.

Quote:
"People can't help you if you're not willing to let them in. You may think this city is big but..."

How did Haruka know this was what Kira was doing? It was a strange feeling between the two and the archer didn't really know how to react straight away.
Haruka leaned in towards Kira, and the words that were spoken next made Kira's eyes widen a little like she wanted to hear more of what Haruka meant exactly, the more Haruka spoke to her it was like Haruka knew exactly what was going through Kira's mind deep down, and the words were as if her gut feeling was talking to her.
Quote:

"Everyone knows someone. And I think you'll find that those people you speak of are closer than you think."

"Huh?" Kira thought to herself, it was like a puzzle, and all the pieces were still mixed up even though the answer was right there in front of her. It was like Haruka was trying to tell her something but in a way, it didn't give out the answer either.

Quote:
"Kira, sometimes you have to accept things that come to you, and instead of running from them... you should try embracing them. And you're right, listen to your heart. Heartache will happen no matter what, it's inevitable but you know what isn't? Friends... especially the ones you talk about, if they are hard to find then that's what makes them even more special, right?"

"..Friends?" Kira questioned, she felt like she hadn't gotten that far with them, but to Haruka, it was a different situation. "I'm... not sure they would see me as that. Maybe as far as an acquaintance..."

Quote:
"...One more thing you should know that Motoki didn't tell you... there's a button on the side that disables the whole simulator completely... Gomen Kira, I was just testing you, and you passed."

"Eh?! Wait a sec... you knew this whole time?!" Kira sighed, feeling a little silly as a light blush flushed across her face as she mumbled "Then again you did say you were a regular... Wait! How exactly did I pass? I just told you where the number was on the back of the machine! Was this actually a test? Did Motoki tell you to do this?" Overthinking it, Kira stood there trying to work out why Haruka pretended to not know how to fix the machine.

"Eh?! Wait a sec... you knew this whole time?!" Kira said. Haruka laughed a little, more so at Kira's reaction as Haruka stood up from the seat. "You're a bit cute, you know that?" not able to resist her usual flirt comment, since it was the just the two of them, it was a good way to lighten the mood even more.
"Wait! How exactly did I pass? I just told you where the number was on the back of the machine! Was this actually a test? Did Motoki tell you to do this?" Kira displayed confusion as what exactly it was she passed. Haruka stared at her for a moment then shook her head in a 'no' motion. "He didn't. I just wanted to see if you knew... but that wasn't exactly the test I was talking about..."

User Image

Giving her a smile, Haruka began to walk off brushing past Kira "You passed because you opened up to me." placing a hand on Kira's shoulder for a second like a 'it's okay to talk about it' then continued to walk towards Michiru as she thought "I know she wasn't going to open up to us before..." getting the information she needed for now, Haruka watched a small crowd around Michiru and Rin. This was perfect since Haruka could pull Michiru aside briefly and talk to her quietly. "Hey..." she said, then linked her arm with Michiru's, pulling her away from Rin as she tried to mix in with the crowd.
Without hinting at anything, just in case ears were listening, Haruka continued "That girl.... her name is Kira." Haruka shifted her gaze to Rin for a moment as she narrowed her eyes in a distrusting way, then looked back Kira and spoke again. "She's completely oblivious to everything. I don't think she knows anything or anyone here so I think we should keep an eye on her... in case..." her voice stopped as she gave Michiru a look. "Maybe that's something we can bring up later tonight... we can talk to Luna about getting her a communicator." Haruka looked over at Motoki and had an idea, taking Michiru with her, the pair walked over to the counter he was located at.

Talking in a voice only the three could hear "Hey uh...what time will Kira finish? We might come by later and see how the rest of her day went at the end of it." knowing it should be before the shrine visit.

Hearing the answer that it wasn't a test for the racing simulators made Kira even more confused.
Quote:

"You passed because you opened up to me."

That alone spoke a thousand words, it was quite clever how Haruka had played it out, as Haruka walked past, there was a slightly heavy feeling on her shoulder for a moment as it left Kira stuck for words and before she mustered up anything, Haruka was already with Michiru.
Kira turned around to face the pair watching Rin as she thought. "How did Haruka know?" Kira couldn't figure out who Haruka was because she was dressed more masculine than feminine, leaving her to still believe Haruka was a male. The thought of Haruka having any magical powers had not occurred to her at all and she wondered if Haruka was psychic of some sort. Looking back at the racing simulator, Kira stared at it, trying to figure out what that was all about.
"Earth people are really strange..." Kira thought.

Motoki was typing on a small computer when the couple came over to him. "Oh! Haruka! Michiru! I saw you talking to Kira, how is she doing?" he lightly laughed but then was asked a question by Haruka. "What time she finishes? Hmm... Five? She's due to have her lunch in about half an hour."

While Michiru and Haruka were talking to Motoki, Kira walked over to the crowd of people and slipped in, her eyes were fixated on the screen, then noticed a girl that was playing on it. She seemed somewhat annoyed but focused on the game.
Standing beside Rin, Kira spoke. "Is that the Sailor V game? That looks like fun!" Kira had never seen such a sparkly magical girl game before. But her smile faded a little when the little jumping pixel reminded her of when she is a Senshi herself. "...What is that game about?" Kira questioned Rin, trying to attempt some sort of conversation, however, Kira was unaware of the others and how they felt about Rin, and that Rin gave them a certain vibe they didn't like.

"Oh! Haruka! Michiru! I saw you talking to Kira, how is she doing?" Haruka smiled in response and answered "She's going pretty well so far." After Motoki telling her what time Kira finishes, Haruka looked at Michiru and answered "We can come back here later then." Haruka's gaze then shifted towards Rin, then noticed Kira had made her way over to the pink-haired girl. "Oh no..." Haruka thought, it was like throwing someone into the deep end too soon. Afraid Kira might not notice or sense anything, Haruka didn't tell her who to be careful around, and Rin was one of them.

"Sh*t." She hissed quietly in annoyance gritting her teeth, then took out her phone. "I should let Hotaru know where we are and what’s happened." she thought to herself.

"Hey, Hotaru-chan, Mich and I are at the Arcade... we think we've found Sailor Nova's civilian form called Kira.
Kira works at the arcade and started today. There's a girl called Rin by the Sailor V video game, and we have run into her at the cafe a few days ago... something feels... off about her. And also, I briefly got the chance to talk to Kira and the things Kira said lines up with what happened earlier... though she has no clue who we are. I'm thinking when Kira finishes work at Five, Mich and I will come and see her before she leaves and maybe drop her home... we can then know where she lives if we need Sailor Nova, or should I say Sailor Sagittarius. What do you think? Does that sound like a plan?"
Haruka showed Michiru the text before she sent it, as a way Haruka didn't need to speak out loud.

Turning to face Michiru, Haruka said quietly "What do you want to do now?" Then watched Kira and Rin from the distance. Part of Haruka wanted to tell Kira to be careful, however it was hard at this stage since Kira didn't know of their identities and would still consider them strangers to a point. Not wanting to control the situation either, Haruka was worried Kira might form a friendship with this girl.

A storm had been in the process of brewing in the late afternoon that day. Heat from the sun, turned the moisture off of the bay into a water vapor. As the vapor rises, and cools the air, tiny water droplets form causing a chain reaction of clouds to appear. The water droplets in the clouds join together causing a heaviness to form in the air. White clouds that had been hanging lowly in the sky begin to shift into darker tone, much more prominent of an approaching storm. For those who have cell phones would have heard a brief announcement alert of a quick moving storm in the area and to expect lightning strikes with brief periods of electrical outages. The broadcast was emitted from a local weather alert station in the area.
User Image

However in the local, popular C R O W N arcade, several minded individuals were highly tuned into one pink haired girl who had been playing for a substantial amount of time on a Sailor V game. With all of the video game sound effects blaring at a much higher volume than normal. It's quite possible that the patrons inside the arcade never heard the storm alert on their cell phones. Just as pink haired girl is about to approach a boss fight... a loud clap of thunder rumbles and rolls throughout the building followed by a white-washed lightning flash that fills the room before everything goes black. The white-washed lightning, caused a brief moment of blindness to those who may of glanced up the moment the flash occurred. In that fraction of time when the lightning flash washed out everything in the room, a lone figure could be seen opening the door to enter into the arcade. Rainfall would have started and the figure will appear to have been slightly drenched. Until the flash recedes the features of the person will be unseen.

The video game screen before the pink haired girl, would have scrambled slightly in reaction to the loud thunder clap and fizzled out as the colors went from brilliant to nothing as the power went out. A simultaneous flickering of lights along screens of other games shut down instantaneously in unison. No doubt followed by comments of 'Oh man! You have GOT to be kidding me?!' among other absurdities and vulgarities thrown about by other gamers. The electronical hum in the air that was mainly in the background when all of the electronical machines, lights, music and equipment that had been powered was silent, almost in a disturbing manner. The air in the arcade hung heavy in the room, with a hint of static discharge. The arcade wouldn't be completely in the dark inside since there were windows located on the front of the building.

There were several flashes of lightning outside as the sound of heavy rainfall pelted against the store front. Something metallic could be heard behind the store, making an odd grunting sound. As the lightning flashed, periodical grunting occurred before the sound of a machine jump starting itself could be heard from behind the wooden doors. The hanging lamps above their heads flickered momentarily before the power was quickly restored. What appeared to take a long amount of time, only took a few minutes for the CROWN's emergency generator in the back to kick in as the electricity is restored.
User Image

"Ah-ha! Finally!" Motoki exclaimed from behind the counter, excited that the power finally kicked back on. His excitement was followed by the rest of the patrons, as the video gaming systems finally seemed to hum to life. Blank, blacked out screens slowly turned back on with their start up screens, with mentioning of how much it cost to play said game, along with recent high scores. The video game screen before the pink haired girl, eventually flickered to life. With the screen appearing to be blank and at the start up mode.

The lone person who had been drenched by the storm, moved away from the front door. Allowing their eyes to adjust from being blinded by the light and thrown into the darkness. Now adjusting to the fluorescent lamp lights hanging from above. It only took a short amount of time for the emerald green eyes behind the transitional lenses, to adjust to the lay of the land. As the darkness of the lenses shifted to what appeared to have a kaleidoscope affect along the surface of the lenses. The patron's eye color appeared to shift as the light from above cast down upon them. Almost as if they were mood altering.
User Image

Realization that he was dripping quite a bit from the storm, the patron moved over to where the man with the apron behind the counter, had made an exclamation that the power was restored. He called out in a normal tone in greeting, "Good day, so I don't completely drench your floor with water, could you please direct me to the wash room?"

Motoki had been in the process making sure everything was working from the laptop before him as he heard someone greet him. A questionable expression was present at first as it took him a moment to understand what the patron was asking for. "Oh yes of course! Down the main aisle and turn left, there's a door that leads to the restroom. And thanks for being courteous!" Motoki said with a smile. The patron provided a smile in return as he followed the directions to the 'T'. As he began to walk down the main aisle, he passed by a large group of people who had been in the process of protesting about the timing of the storm and just how high this pink haired girl gamer had made before the outage! According to the pink haired girl's growing fan club that had a large gathering, they were outraged as to how the game did not save and restarted!

Listening to the grumbling from the crowd, the patron stopped in his footsteps noticing a particular girl who dawned a C R O W N arcade apron standing near the crowd. The lenses of his shades cast a reflection of light towards the general direction of where the girl with the apron stood. If she had taken notice, he would have provided a short smile in his passing. If not, he hoped upon his return he would find her once more. Passing through the door leading towards the restroom, the patron was not gone long. Only long enough to wring out excess water from the hood of his trench coat. Running his slender fingers through the long length of wet, white hair. He released the tie that once held his hair back, allowing it the air dry. Emerging from the door back into the gaming arcade facility, the patron cast a look-about-glance around the room, until his emerald green eyes settled upon the individual he had seen as he passed earlier. From behind the lenses of his glasses, his eye color appeared to shift from emerald green, to sea blue, finally to a golden hue. Standing there mesmerized for a brief fleeting amount of time before he moved to cross the floor to where the girl with the apron was located at.

"Pardon me, miss. Would you happen to know if the arcade carries a crane machine here?" His voice was soft, flowing sweet as honey as he politely asked the working girl before him a question or two. "More common to be known as a 'claw machine'?"

Days until concert: 5

While Kira was leaning in to watch the screen, she was in the large crowd of people who were gasping and commenting on Rin's game. While not noticing the announcement on the TV above them, it was a weather warning. It was a bit random, but despite the weather that happened today due to Sailor Nova's attack, it seemed odd yet another happened.
"Wow!! Look at you go!" she commented to Rin, placing a hand on her shoulder briefly as a 'Well done!'
Was this the right thing to do? Would the girl feel some sort of presence towards Kira?

About ten minutes passed, and Kira's eyes were glued to Rin's screen, even though it was just a game, Kira felt this sense of closeness with the game itself. Loud claps of thunder were heard, and as it got louder and louder, Kira heard them but didn't think much of it until the whole room went black.
"Huh?" Kira said, standing up straight. The gasps and chatter among people were heard. Knowing Haruka and Michiru were still around, Kira's eyes shifted to the front door as she saw a figure. It was like the figure's eyes were fixated on Kira as they stared at her while the lightning behind them made their figure appear as a black silhouette. Kira couldn't help but feel a strange sensation pass through her body like she had stared at this person once before, so why did it feel so familiar to her? The lights flickered on from the generator which made Kira quickly cover her eyes, trying to adjust to the new light. "Ugh the light!" uncovering her eyes, she squinted at first, for a few seconds then glanced over at everyone around her who were just as light stunned as her.
The figure passed by Kira, and as the person passed her she turned to Rin. "AH! Your game!" Gasping, the screen went back to the "Press to play"
Her game had reset. There were grumbles and a bit of swearing from others who had also lost their game, this was surely strange. Kira turned to look at Motoki, then Haruka and Michiru as she thought. "I wonder what happened..."
Kira wanted to make sure there wasn't anyone hurt around the arcade, so she began to walk around.

The figure wasn't the only one who entered inside, there was a mysterious black crescent moon cat who also entered, she weaved in and out of the machines, slinking around unnoticed by anyone but her sights were set on Kira. Unknown to the archer, she was the target of many currently in the store however Kira was completely oblivious to it all.

A figure whose very long silver hair flowed loosely behind him, and a familiar white suit with glasses on who seemed like they were clearly trying to hide something approached Kira as she made her way back to Rin. Turning to face the figure, the voice sounded almost recognizable to her.

------------------------------STAAAAARRRRRRRREEE ------------------------------

Kira stared at the man in front of her, he looked quite handsome yet a little bit feminine, taking a moment to register his question, Kira blinked and stuttered her words. "U-Uh, Crane Machine? Oh! Um... Y-yeah it's right this way... follow me." Leading the man, she could hear his footsteps behind her, the crane machine was in the corner of the room, and conveniently away from everyone else. Stopping, Kira turned to face the man and smiled as if she really had no idea who he was.
"Here it is!" gesturing towards the machine beside her, but her expression was as if she started to work out a math equation as she began a bit puzzled. "Um... gomen for staring but... this is going to sound a bit weird...I...I feel like I've seen you before... it's just... you look a bit... familiar. I can't remember where though..." Kira said, leaning on the side of the crane machine wth her arm folded, studying him as she appeared very serious and focused.

Luna was very much hidden from both, she didn't want Yaten to know she was nearby and wanted him to be able to talk freely to the girl as he wished. Unaware that Yaten had planned to pull her away from Rin, Haruka and Michiru most likely saw the whole thing play out too.

Kira still had no idea at this point who the man was, not even The Three Lights crossed to her mind, but maybe it just so happened that the man dressed in a way that made Kira question him, even though there was a poster of the Three Lights behind her and a few throughout the Arcade.
"Ah! Gomen! Uhh...I didn't mean for that to sound like a pickup line! Hahaha..--Let's try this again... I'm Kira... It's my first day here so you'll have to excuse my random question!" trying to break the awkwardness between the two, Kira slowly resumed her nervous visage back to her puzzled stare, making it still obvious she was still trying to figure out why this person seemed to look so familiar.
"Geez... I feel like I'm seeing things. Maybe I should get some sleep when I get home..." starting to believe maybe it was in her head or that she was going crazy, and she was overthinking things, maybe everyone around her was actually normal and she was the problem. Luckily for her, it was almost her lunchtime and she could mentally recover.

"U-Uh, Crane Machine? Oh! Um... Y-yeah it's right this way... follow me." The lone patron followed in tow behind his guide, maneuvering past the crowd with ease, not once falling behind. When his guide came to a stop, turning with smile and ta-dah body expression. The gesture of the guide's hand waving towards the crane machine, "Here it is!" was cute. Causing the man standing before the guide to smile more. He subconsciously reached upwards to remove his glasses settling them along the breast pocket of his coat, without so much of a second thought.
User Image

Upon their arrival to the crane machine, he had taken note of a railing mounted to the wall beside the machine. Turning around so smoothly to lean back against the railing, his long hair appeared to rise up and fall as he took a moment to admire his guide. Not wanting to appear as though he was staring he adjusted his line of sight towards the gaming machine and asked, "Do you know how it works?" Wanting to keep the friendly guide there, his gaze wandered back up towards her as he asked her another question. "Have you ever played it before?"

As he kept his eyes on his guide, the color of his eyes appeared to shift in several different colors. Perhaps it was the light in the arcade that caused that. Or maybe it was something that he was wearing. The sound effects from several gaming consoles could be heard in the background behind them. Where the man was aligned along the railing, gave him a broad spectrum viewing of the arcade. With the wall, literally against his back, he took mental note of all of the exits within the facility. He did this so in case he needed to protect the person he was with and had a plan as to what exit was closest to take in order to leave at a moments notice.

Her expression was vague, albeit puzzled as he felt the guide's eyes had given him a look over once they had arrived at the gaming machine he had asked about. "Um... gomen for staring but... this is going to sound a bit weird...I...I feel like I've seen you before... it's just... you look a bit... familiar. I can't remember where though..."

The man smiled, "Charmed, I'm sure." He replied in a genuine tone that was friendly as well as flirty. Not knowing how she would take how he responded. He made sure not to overstep any boundaries with her. Responding once again, this time in a more casual tone, "I've been told before that I tend to look like certain famous people. I swear, I just like different styles and make them my own. By molding my own shape in society." The fact that he talked about himself like clay, to be molded into the shape and form he sees that is expected by some, attracted by others. And for him, what he chooses to wear and how to look is a type of art.

"Ah! Gomen! Uhh...I didn't mean for that to sound like a pickup line! Hahaha..--Let's try this again... I'm Kira... It's my first day here so you'll have to excuse my random question!" So innocent. He thought to himself, just like how she acted before. Oblivious to her surroundings and who she interacts with. This arcade seems like a good start to meet people. He had noticed the other patrons that were familiar to him: Haruka and Michiru. Dressed in their casual attire outside of their senshi uniforms. The other girl in the background with the pink hair, seemed familiar but only provided a bad vibe aura. He would be keeping tabs on that one. Tilting his head ever so lightly in response to the guide finally providing her name. She was so trustworthy of who she was addressing. Knowing that in the past he would have been sassy, possibly rude, not providing her the time of day. However this wasn't the past, this was the present. Times had changed, he had changed, or so he liked to think so.

Extending out his hand towards Kira, to shake hands in greeting. "Not at all, it's alright, no harm done. And it's a pleasure to meet you Kira, I'm Yaten." Refraining from saying his last name, at least for now. Speaking only loud enough between them, not wanting others within the vicinity to know who he was. It was bad enough that he had removed his glasses that had helped his disguise, along with his hair being down verses tied up. Holding eye contact with Kira, for what appeared to be a long amount of time.

Watching the man take off his glasses, Kira blinked as her eyes widened a little. It was still hard to see what his eye color actually was but a little light blush appeared on her cheeks for a few moments until he asked her a question.

Quote:
"Do you know how it works? Have you ever played it before?"

Kira stared at the man, this was an unexpected question for her. "U-Uh...well... n-no... honestly speaking I've never seen an arcade before. The uh.. hometown I was in before I moved here didn't have anything like this. I have no idea how anything works."
The disguised archer thought about what she said, as her eyes shifted downwards as she mumbled "I actually haven't done a lot now that I think about it..." her eyes shifted back to the man.

Quote:
"Not at all, it's alright, no harm done. And it's a pleasure to meet you Kira, I'm Yaten."

"Yaten?" she repeated, again it was a matter of putting two and two together however it still hadn't clicked yet.
His voice was quiet, but enough for only Kira to hear him when he introduced himself. Not making any comment towards the fact Kira recognized him from somewhere, she didn't think much of it and saw he held his hand out for her to shake.
A flashback happened where a female figure stood before her on the rooftop, Kira remembered back to when she and Star Healer met as they introduced themselves, it was like that same moment happened again which caused a delayed response to the handshake.
"....Oh n-nice to meet you... Yaten...." taking her right hand as it met with his, Kira felt that de-ja-vu happen all over again. Her expression seemed even more puzzled, but she put it down to maybe it was her imagining things. Their hands didn't part straight away, and like before, Kira held onto his hand for a little longer, Yaten would most likely see on her expression she was trying to figure out who he was and why this moment felt so similar to another, but only Yaten would know and maybe that was his intention to make her think for herself, hoping she might click, however that didn't happen this time around.

Letting go slowly, Kira thought to herself "This... is really strange...and my heart is beating so fast. But why??"

The silence spoke words, and as her hand released from his completely she turned to the machine and stared at it. "Um--so uh... h-have you played this before?" Kira wondered what exactly the machine did, then her eyes shifted making eye contact with Yaten again.
