Haunted house? Puh-lease. Darian was all over this. She'd look around some, find the stupid keys and then get herself a prize at the end. Eeasy-peasy.
This hallway was a bit. . .foreboding but seriously, they couldn't stand to put a few more lights in the place. Rolling her eyes, Darian picked the eastern door to go through.

Niamh was clinging to Sathe's hand, and if she could have beamed at him, gratefully, she would have. Instead, she beamed where at where she thought he was, before giving it up as a bad job. "Thank you, Sathe. I know I'm always safe with you." She said, quietly, accepting that her dear friend would do her best to keep her safe, even if this odd Rutta fellow made her want to hide.
And then suddenly he was... WHOA he was shoving between them and she lost her grip on Sathe's hand and the strange Chimera had his arm around her shoulder. What was going ON?
She was so unnerved that her hand flailed out, and she... reached over, grabbing a doorknob. Wait. THIS WAS A DOORKNOB. "I... I don't kn...know about th...them being lazy b...but. I think... I found a door..."
She popped it open... and then pulled on the other two, heading for it.

Sathe made some disapproving noises as Rutta forced himself between the two of them, but tried his best to restrain himself from kidney-punching his rival right then and there. It was poor form, even if the chimera deserved it. Probably.
Luckily he didn't have to put up with it for too long, as Niamh seemed to find a door just at the right time. Using this as an excuse to remove Rutta's arm from his shoulder, he followed her through the door, blinking at the sudden change in light as he tried to figure out where they were.

Zeerah wrenched open the door, ready to receive his prize of - the dark hallway. Again. He let out a loud curse, causing the vespercat to jump. "Bloody ******** hell," He sighed, turning to bang his head against the door a few times. "Oh well, nothing to be done for it," He admitted, opening the door and entering the damned room once more.

Witch's Foul Lair
It takes some time for your eyes to adjust to the dim light of candles. A dewy fog carpets the floor, seemingly coming from a bubbling cauldron in the corner. Bones and stuffed dolls hang from the ceilings, the walls lined with jars of eyeballs, tongues, and other indistinguishable horrors. You have to be careful to avoid knocking over dusty book piles and torn parchments.
SEARCH [1d8]
1: You find a key! 2: You open an old chest to have a dark figure jump at you. On closer inspection, it is a soot-coated vespercat that seems to be happy to be out of confinement. (Claim one of the familiars below!)
3: You bump into a table, causing one of the tomes to fall open on the floor. Spirits fly up from the pages, letting out tormented howls. 4: You stop to look at one of the jars, only to have the dozen eyeballs floating in the mysterious liquid swivel and stare back at you. 5: With a hissing noise, the bubbles in the cauldron begin to grow in size and gain shape. The figure begins to ooze towards you. Run! 6: One of the dolls falls to the floor, twisting its left leg as it lands. Your own leg suddenly seizes up in agony, and then, just like that, the pain is gone again. 7: You can’t help but look at one of the parchments covered in markings. The runes seem to burn into your eyes. 8: You find a key!
North: The way is blocked. East: Continue. South: The way is blocked. West: An ominous door.

Unsettling Dollhouse
The cutesy, quaint decor of the life-sized dollhouse provides a welcome relief from the rest of the manor. However the longer you stay the less at ease you feel… The rooms and their furnishment seem a touch too big, too clean, too plastic, and the dolls on display nothing short of uncanny.
SEARCH [1d8]
1: Key 2: You find a table with an ordinary sized dollhouse. As you peer inside, you see a smaller version of yourself next to a table. 3: A doll hunches over the kitchen table, posed as though she were knitting. She turns to face you, revealing buttons for eyes. 4: A shadow passes over you, and you look up to see an enormous, outstretched hand reaching towards you. 5: You hear a series of thumps. A doll head bounces down the stairs and lands at your feet. The body comes crawling after it. 6: Walking past a television set, you hear the screen suddenly ring with static. A face flashes across it and then disappears. 7: The room begins to grow around you… that or you begin to shrink! An ant marches across the carpet towards you, roughly the size of a horse and just as menacing. 8: Key
North: The way is blocked. East: An ominous door. South: The way is blocked. West: Continue.

One of your reflections stands mid-stretch as you enter. It leans from side to side, before looking up and making direct eye contact with you. "Well? You know what you need to do."

Whatever they had been expecting when they'd entered the next room had not been this. Ayuu gasped faintly at the sight before them, hastily grabbing at zer boyfriends' hands before they wandered ahead.
Ze pointed toward the reflected door with zer chin. "I doubt that's as close as it seems. We should stick together."
They moved forward as a group, quietly discussing the flow of air through the maze of mirrors and whether or not they should always turn left, until eventually they found what they thought might be an exit.
"Do you think this is the right way?"
Bo shrugged. "Even if it isn't, I'm up for more intestine pie."
"That's only because you aren't the one still wearing it." Ellis shook his head as he moved on, his exasperation nullified by an amused smirk.

Darian sauntered through the hallway, taking a peek about. It was creepy to be sure. There definitely were some things wrong with this picture though. Rubbing a rough hand over her eyes, she knocked a small table over while backing up. Spiderwebs definitely were not her favorite thing to run into. Springing forward to escape the tormented howls from immediately behind her, Darian felt silly when she turned around and it was just a book. The occasional "spirit" would fly up from the pages, letting loose a frightening wail, but as soon as she shut the tome it quit.

Sathe blinked a bit as he adjusted to the light of this new room, looking around to see what the deal with this one might be. It seemed pretty tame, just a life-sized doll set.
He went to poke at one, when the room seemed to shift, and then get bigger. Well, weird illusions aside it was still not that bad. At least until he realized there was a horse-sized ant walking towards him.
Shifting into a combat stance, he raised his fists as the ant horse approached, moving to cover Niamh just in case. When he moved though, the room seemed to shift in an odd way, one that didn't make sense. Deciding to push his luck, he punched the giant ant square in the face.

Niamh looked around, uncomfortably, at the decor, once her eyes adjusted. "Well at least... we can see..." She mumbled, about to try to get close to Sathe again, because she felt safest next to him... But instead, she saw the way the room rippled, she saw the Ant coming towards him, and screamed in shock. She started to turn towards the stairs...
And a doll's head came thumping down them, right towards her... It horrified her, and then she saw the doll crawling after it. She screamed again, and headed west, in a panicked state.
