Wrath grabbed her and pulled her up against him, startling her and causing her to drop her torch in her effort not to accidentally hit him with it. What was he--?! Wide eyes stared up at him, she swallowed and pulled her wrist free. "Thank you," she said quietly, rubbing her own wrist.
And then he had to go and ruin it. Na'ima frowned. "Wrath, I--" before Na'ima could finish she was cut off by the chaos breaking out and quickly found herself being forced in the direction of the great hall by a panicking knight, being pushed along with a shout of surprise like a small toy stuck to the front of a bulldozer.
"Wrath!" She called out, reaching for him in the crowd before disappearing from sight among the retreating Knights.

NOEMI is exiting
Because of her embarassing grope of Jack.
Noemi was no where to be found. She must've ran away while she could...

My character's name: Noemi Hurley Character's journal link:[ HERE ] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Noemi is Naive and quiet girl. Red curly hair with winged cuffs and fullbody armor. Rank of character Knight Apprentice
Cain bristled at the mockery, was it because he was young? The apprentice's cheeks flushed furiously, thankfully hidden by the dark. A hand moved out to grab something to help, then all hell broke loose and left him dazed for a moment. A glance around as people yelled and rushed about and Cain stumbled, unsure of what exactly to do.
Really. Really? He laughed outright as the man whom had mocked him previously crumpled to the ground. If it wasn't fear he couldn't tell what it was other than pathetic for one with such big talk. Pathetic, his eyes shined the word down to the older before he glanced towards all the rushing bodies. Damn. This had gone from funny to all to real in a moment, his heart raced, pounding into ears and chest before being harshly swallowed back down. A flex of fingers and the hilt of his sword was smoothed over. It was then and on a glance back down to the frozen man that Cain softened, understanding a little of what he could possibly be feeling unless the other was of course suddenly stricken with dysentery and he had been totally wrong.
Remembering Nellie with the animals on their quest and his pledge Cain bit the bullet. He was an apprentice of Lancelot, pledging kindness and sincerity, opening their hearts to all, showing understanding to those who need it. Even if he wanted more to yell at the man, he took in a deep breath and offered only once, "get on your feet unless you wish to be trampled, if you can't act physically act with your mind, but never stop helping others!..." Idiot. The freckled teen turned to look at the larger man with the smaller then nodded, he would take care of him, likely, Cain had been about as sincere and understanding as he cared to be for the moment.
"Fare Well!" There was no time to waste, they had to move, others needed them. Him. So he raced away to help.

Belated Wrath Exit!
He did not need to remember her to know that look. But he did not even have it in him to look sheepish, his grin only widening further.
And then she was just...gone. He had managed to keep her from being run into once, but this second time, he hadn't even seen it coming, the knight knocking into his shoulder before running into her.
He jolted, eyes widening as she called his name, arm stretching towards hers.
Too late. She was swallowed up into the crowd, and with all of the panicked jostling around him, even though he tried to follow, it was slow going.
But he was determined he would find her again.

[Oliver - Exiting!]
Oliver jumped like a startled deer as not just one, but two other knights passed, and he granted the one a light. Passing on the warm, glowing favour. But even that was relative peace as all hell broke out.
He turned to address the young lady next to him, and his mouth opened and closed just as suddenly. There wasn’t time to get her name.
“C-come on, we have to go!” He said with urgency, and waved his torch in the direction of the castle.

"Right." He'd given Cain a long look, but beyond that initial acknowledgement he made no comment about the young man sticking close to them. It didn't make much of a difference to Ezekiel, so long as the kid didn't make himself a burden.
Not that he'd get much of a chance. He'd only just made a grad for a chair to add to the pile when all hell seemed to break loose on them. Initially Ezekiel had made a run for it. That was the logical thing to do, the automatic response to danger, even as the terror rose and panic threatened to take over. Self preservation drove him. Who knew what he had been like before he'd pledged, but now, with no past to fall back on, this was what he was now. Selfish, out for himself.
Except.
Except maybe not as much as he thought.
A glance back showed Neither blonde was with him. A longer look showed both were where he'd left him, and Ezekiel swore loudly, pausing for just a second before darting back, into the fray, into danger. It went against every instinct he had, but still, he did it. "Julian!"
When he reached him the younger man was gone. Common sense, or fear, or whatever else might have propelled him onward, he was gone. There was just Julian, and Ezekiel was reaching down to haul the other man up to his feet, none to gently, and pulling him along with the crowd. "Move!"

My character's name: Ezekiel Young Character's journal link:[o] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER Ezekiel is the strong quiet type. He is not terribly outgoing, though he is amicable enough in social settings, albeit it witty and ironic. He is practical and analytical, meaning he is unlikely to act recklessly or take risks that do not benefit him in some significant way. On those occasions he gets someone he does show loyalty and will even work to keep them safe up to a certain point, though he is a selfish individual. On the battle field he is calculating and cold. Physically he's tall and well muscled from various tasks and labors. He has dark, auburn hair and tanned skin. One eye is green, the other, a milky white, has a scar running through it that stretches from jaw to temple. Rank of character Apprentice -Knight
At least the order kicked him back into motion -- that and the hand on his arm, Ezekiel's grasp dragging Julian around in his wake whether he actually wanted to or not. It was probably frustrating, like hauling a doll around, until Julian gathered his wits enough to actually get his feet under himself properly and kick into a proper run. Then they could start moving for real, even if he was still tired, still not great at all the physical parts that his new job seemed to require.
"I'm not sure I've ever been in a fight before," he offered near Ezekiel's ear, in something of a daze. Judging from the way he spoke to people, this seemed unlikely -- it seemed impossible that no one had ever gotten so fed up with him that they lashed out in a physical way -- but at the same time....if he'd been in a fight, it was certain Julian hadn't won. Not with those skinny arms, and the fragile paleness of his skin.
"I'm not sure how much help I'm going to be." Not that it mattered now, of course. He just, maybe, needed a bit of reassurance, and since Ezekiel was the only person he really knew, this seemed the likeliest location. As they approached the gathering crowd, he finally tugged his hand free.

[ Ezekiel Exit ]
"I'm not sure I've ever been in a fight before."
Well wasn't that just the shock of the century. Ezekiel gave a snort, hand tightening on Julian's arm briefly as he steered him around a fallen body. "You don't say?" There was absolutely no surprise to his tone. "Guess you'll be getting a crash course then, eh?" Sarcasm was heavy in his tone, interlaced with irritation and fear, but he never let go of the other man's arm, not even if he stumbled.
"You saved, me, you can save others." Probably. At the very least, if he was in the great hall with those healing he was probably out of immediate danger. Maybe he should have let Julian make this choice himself, but there wasn't time for indecision or doubt. As that pale arm slipped out of his grasp he made the choice for him.
