[5/5] She arrived at the tree's base and smiled at it, "Don't worry, I'll find it this time for sure!" Or so she hoped, no! She couldn't let that tree down again, she would find these glasses! She searched the entire base on her hands and knees and was about to call it quits when a glint of something shinny from under it's large root caught her eye. OH MY JACK! She Found them.
She gladly handed them back to the tree where it promptly gave her a hug, it didn't hurt but she didn't want another one so she took the gift and ran for it.

He stood up when he found a tree with a lot of signs on it. Signs that didn't make any sense, since every word was on a different piece of wood. So helpful. Not. Rolling his eyes, he picked a random direction to look for his third tree.

It all started with a dream, but isn't that how most good stories start? Whether or not this was a good story was still undetermined to the new arrival. It had started out strangely, the brightly colored forest which had almost been a sensory overload for the overly attentive girl, then the rabbit hole. Why did she go down that darn rabbit hole!? Oh, because it was a dream of course, and you could do things you normally wouldn't without any repercussions. Then down the rabbit hole she went, only to land with a thud and find a strange little bottle that said "drink me." Again, she had to wonder why in the world she drank it but only reminded herself once again of the answer she had previously provided herself. That drink caused another change in scenery, causing the girl to think it was more of a nightmare than a dream. Her senses were on overload as she tried to absorb things as fast as she could in this strange place, but, there was too much and it led her to be rather jumpy.
The brief meeting with the Alice A.I cleared some things up, so it was more like a game than a dream or nightmare, though she still thought it a nightmare. She went through the process quickly, choosing her username as Cupcake, because, who really didn't like cupcakes?? Then she was told she needed to pick a class for the battle system which sounded like wayyy too much work, but she wasn't given a choice in the matter. As she browsed through the classes, they all seemed like so much work, Cupcake complained to herself, and chose one in the middle rather than specializing in anything, certainly that would mean less work....right? Only time would tell, and unfortunately, it was time for her to go again.
Cupcake landed with a thud in a big forest. She noticed others wandering around and noted names floating above her head, just like in a game. It made her wonder if her own username was displayed in a like manner, which after looking up and seeing it, confirmed her thoughts. As she took in the scenery as much as she could, she noticed a sign that demanded her attention with a bright yellow exclamation point. Cake supposed that was the first place she needed to go then. As she approached it started talking to her. It was talking! Cupcake was getting the feeling that she wasn't going to like this very much. It introduced itself and the awful area was Tulgey Woods, ugh, and it seemed it would already send her on a quest. "If that's what needs to be done..." Cupcake said in a very bored tone. She would find five trees, not like this forest was in any shortage of them. At least it was only 5 trees...

A skinny girl of average height, Cupcake's eyes are the most attractive thing about her. Mismatched blue and green eyes are rather large on her face and take in everything. A splatter of light freckles cover her cheeks and nose. Light blonde hair full of braids can be seen under the green Mad Hatter's hat.
OuO really hoped not all the trees had as bad an attitude as the first tree she had encountered. Her cheek still hurt a little, which was interesting... since she was an undead and didn't usually feel such things (maybe it was apart of the game?) She kept an open and positive piece of mind though about the next one.
Though, it proved to stump the small caterpillar. Leaving her just sort of staring at the tall slender tree with a very perplexed look. A riddle? "You're all very tall to me anyway..." She told it in all honesty. She was very short after all.
The tree in turn just seemed to gloat in reply, laughing her statement off and sending her on her way. Well... yes, she would hope that tree was better at being a tree than her...

4/5 Leaving the friendly sapling with the desire to hide thing it it's unfriendly looking mouth, Boi was back on track for exploring. Some of the trees, just as the waypoint had mentioned, were shy and fled from him as soon as he approached and others seemed content to let him pass without a word. One though caught his attention. It felt weird to say this, but the tree stuck out like a sore thumb, and not for having all the signs around it. Though that was also a factor.
What was really drawing Boi to the tree was the fact it felt dormant. Like a normal tree. Stepping closer, he placed a hand against the bark and shuddered. Yeah, it was dead all right. the signs read, "This way to Nowhere and Everywhere". Each was nailed into the trunk with big thick nails that hadn't rusted, yet appeared old. Did they kill the tree? Was this some sort of warning? Disturbed, Boi walked quickly away.

Not seeing anyone around her, Spiderluck decided to saunter over, and explore the forest, eyeing a tree with stripes.
What was strange was that the stripes didn't even make any sense, nor did they seem proper stripes. They all looked mishmashed together and the sheer idea of it made her laugh.

Tulgey Woods, hmmm?? ... It seemed far too bright and noisy. The sudden tremor that raced along the ground nearly toppled him, and he grappled at one of the nearby branches, unaware of eyes that blinked and disappeared as he righted himself.
Now then. Here, he was the catinthehat, a Cheshire Cat, precisely. He had never met a cheshire cat, but he supposed they were an okay enough lot, and judging from the other characters pouring in around him, there were far more humiliatingchoices than that of a cat.
Cat stared a moment at the stats written seemingly in thin air above his head. Level one, no that would never do. He had best figure out a way to earn some experience, and fast. He glanced about, before his eyes fell on the blinking exclamation point several yards away.
A quest ... to stare at trees?? ... What did this signpost take him for, a doorknob?? Cat frowned, and reluctantly began off through the woods, careful not to trip and fall a second time.

This tree was a wide tree and didn't look too happy to see her. It crosses its arms. "I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!"

5/5 After the body of the dead Tree, Boi was ready to leave the exploring behind, and this forest. Any place was, literally, better than here. That was when he saw it. A tree with stripes. Are you kidding me? First a dead tree which isn't really dead, just normal, and now a tree with stripes?! That's so silly!
There was a slight vibration from and through the branches as a tremolous voice called out, "I beg your pardon. I am not silly at all! In here everything is possible and anything is impossible and therefore a tree with stripes is completely within everything and anything." as if on cue, the trees stripes began to molt into a different color. From a firebird red to an eggshell blue. Stunned and perhaps a little preplexed at the trees colors, Boi continued to listen. The tree with stripes continued "Now, give me a good, good shake. I want to get some more colour out. Shake me really well, if you do I'll reward you"
Boi didn't want anything to do with this. Not. at. all. As a matter of fact the thought of touching the weirdly striped and talkative tree was off putting. Yet the last time he had given into a trees request it had given him something. That fragment still hummed in his pocket. Maybe.... Just maybe...
Walking up, Boi wrapped his willowy arms around the elephantine trunk of the tree and tried to shake it. It moved a little, and then some more, until it was rocking back and forth vicariously. The tree bellowed a deep laugh as leaves rained from up above. After a few moments, Boi stopped, and the pleased tree spit out a fragment.
Happy, he gripped it in his hand and put it in his pocket with the other fragment. Quest over!

Which ended up being the first tree stump. Kay. So the wood would turn him around in circles...maybe he should start paying more attention to where he was going, and where he'd been. Then he wondered if it made a difference. Probably not. With a shrugs, he wandered off to the next tree.

killsteal strolled along until a shrimp of a tree caught his eye. There we go! If he didn't get his way, he could simply bully this one into giving up information about these fragments he needed.
The tree had other ideas. Namely starting off with a toothy grin of an entrance and then a very childish question to guess what it hid in its mouth.
Broken teeth, killsteal thought grumpily before asking what it was it was hiding in that oh so great maw. Wouldn't you know, though, it was a damn fragment! He snatched it up without a word, leaving the tree alone as he wiped off saliva and admired the gem's shine with a grin.

[I already rolled for this tree xD]
Before the girl could even talk, Wiz began walking to her next tree, wanting to see what other exciting things could happen! She could still hear the girl and she smiled big. Some one that wanted to be around her?! Sure! The more the merrier in this case!
"Sure! Why not! Ummmn...Im collecting everything and nothing so yes, that leaf would do!"
She vaguely heard a sound and turned her head to look back at the tree only to find some strange teeth smiling back at her.
"Guess what I'm hiding!"
Wiz tilted her head to the side before giving the tree a grin of her own. A guessing game too!? Wow!
"YOURE HIDING SOMETHING MAGICAL!"
The tree laughs and grins again before saying "I'm hiding something in my mouth!" It sticks out its mouth and lo and behind it is the same type of item she got from the last tree! Nice!
She quickly took the item, placing it in her pocket with the other one, giving the tree one final grin before looking to the girl in the pink once more, holding up the item the tree just gave her.
"Im collecting these as well!"

Tall, blue-skinned and purple eyed, ManaicalIceWiz sports the caterpillar garb with a brown cape and pink top armor with silver. She also has black pants and silver armor boots with spikes on them. One thing to note is her hair which is a shinny white, as if it was made of melting ice.
Of course he was catch sight of someone with a temperament equal to a cactus come to life.
What was he looking at? Well what did she think he was looking at? Yeah, he may have given a glance, or two, or quite a few before she noticed, but with all her screaming and tantrum like flailing and shouting did she think she wasn't going to draw attention to herself?
With a scuff, WD continued to stare with his gaze set in a glare.
"What, am I not allowed to stare at a maniac screaming at the trees?" he stated while walking backwards. "Am I not allowed to watch as if you are some kind of sideshow act, or a child denied her candies?"
Luck was clearly not on his side at the moment. With the boom of a voice and his foot frozen in a half step, WD slowly turned around and watched the tree directly behind him.
"I don't think so, the last people who were here were terribly mean about it. Terribly, terribly mean and it just won't do anymore. If you come any closer I will have to resort to violence I mean it! Don't come any closer!"
"Oh. Well...," the Caterpillar mutt let out a nervous chuckle and quickly darted back in the strange girl's direction. "Don't mean to cause any trouble! Please forgive me. No trouble! No trouble at all! ...Dumb tree, but not as idiotic as you, girl."

He is a tad on the pale side with a face full of freckles and platinum blond dog ears and tail. The most striking features about him are his head of wavy red hair and bright green eyes that rest against pitch black sclera. Upon closer investigation one may notice the snake bite piecing along his bottom lip. An expression of annoyance always seem to be painted on his face.

It didn't take long for things to get even weirder. Cupcake had been on her way to investigate all kinds of trees, which would help her know her environment...but it was just so much work! The tree in front of her wasn't very happy at all, it crossed its arms and started shouting at her about the previous people that were there. Geesh, crazy much? It was obvious that this tree wanted to be left alone. "Have it your way..." Cake said as she backed away and skirted wide around it in search for another tree.

What Cat found first, was less a tree, and more a wild beast. He could barely make out any sign of eyes through the branches before the limbs came to life of their own, deflecting him wildly about as he tried to approach.
He toppled backwards and landed on the ground with an oof! One tree down, so much for that. He picked up his hat, dusting it off with a malevolent glare.
