Yuki recovered from his fall in front of the crowd, attempting to mesh back stopped as everyone stood still, the lone person in front of them all beginning to speak. His purple tinted eyes blinked slowly, absorbing the words of the man before him despite not having a clue about what was going on. What was he talking about with lying, cheating, and stealing? He thought that was natural, at least that's what the tutors said. And Okaasan wasn't here any longer? He hadn't been told this, but it would explain how he was able to roam about freely. The boy continued his silence until the speech seemingly ended, waiting for most of the people to clear out of the room before approaching the authoritative figure.
"What happened to Tousan, and Okasan?" Yuki questioned, looking at David with a confused look. He wasn't comfortable with knowing that his parents had possibly abandoned him.
(( Just a note, it's not public knowledge that Yuki is the offspring of Aeden, and Jade. I would have introduced him earlier, but was too lazy. ))

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi | Special JouninTeacher { Sand } TacticalKazekage~ While David stood waiting for the various ninja to clear out of the office, he himself only staying for now for appearances, a young boy suddenly popped up in front of him. The same boy who had tripped earlier actually. Looking down at the boy (Now that was a different feeling, though it was made less sweet by the obvious youth implied by his features.) as he asked about where his parents had gone, David stared at him in obvious confusion. What? Had some village orphan managed to sneak into the meeting and was expecting him to know what happened to his parents? Was this something they normally trained you to deal with before making you a kage? He didn't know, but now, he sort of wished they had, because this probably was not going to end well. "... What?" he finally blurted out. Pausing only a moment before he realized that with that, the boy would likely just repeat the question. Maybe... "Who are your parents?" Maybe, he knew this kid's parents? Or could send the ANBU to find them even. He'd have to get used to that particular privilege. If he didn't know something, they probably did. ~ [Chakra: 90/90] [Kunai: 4/4] [Shuriken 15/15] [Makibishi 25/25] [Sand: 240lb] [Chakra Pills: 5/5][Charged: 0/5]

David GreysonSunagakure | Ichibi | Special JouninTeacher { Sand } TacticalKazekage~ David continued to stare oddly at the child for several seconds longer as his mind made an attempt to process what had been said. Okasan's desk? Had Jade had a child in secret? But, he hadn't called himself an Uchiha either, he didn't even look like an Uchiha for that matter. Rather, he'd taken the name, Nagamo? Aeden's son perhaps? Then, was the reference to Jade being his mother simply a sign of affection? The two S ranks had been close... Or... Was he truly the child of both? If the two had been that much closer than he'd thought then it would make sense that their child would be a secret. They would obviously have enemies, who would no doubt love to have done the child harm in the absence of his parents. But, with no way to confirm it (David was NOT going to be the one to put a random child through a DNA test to see if he was the child of the previous kage on his first day.), and likely no records of him as their child, it could just as well be a random kid seeing a chance to grab up some extra notoriety... Shaking his head and letting off a sigh, David just said the only thing he really could at that point. "Sorry kid, never heard of you." After another second's pause, he decided to answer the original question, since he'd already said it anyways. "And I don't know where they are. They wanted to travel in secret I suppose." he shrugged, still looking at the boy intently, studying him to find a trace of his supposed father. Not that that would be easy either, seeing as the man had changed his appearance completely several times in the short few months David had known him. ~ [Chakra: 90/90] [Kunai: 4/4] [Shuriken 15/15] [Makibishi 25/25] [Sand: 240lb] [Chakra Pills: 5/5][Charged: 0/5]{ Eh, no problem. Yuki puffed up his cheeks, crossing his arms and giving David a stern look. It looked like he was sizing him up, and he was, but the look quickly faded back to the childhood innocence that was there moments before. "Well.." He began, stopping and sticking his tongue out at man. "If they wanted to travel in secret, then why'd they leave me here alone? My tutor left too, which is how I got here." Yuki stopped and looked about the office once more, taking in the place and re-familiarizing himself with it. It'd been a few months since his mother had allowed him to visit her place of work. With a small giggle he moved past David and hopped up onto the desk of the Kazekage, sitting down on its edge and turning to look back. "So, what were you talking about?" Even though he had been there for the 'speech' Yuki had already forgotten most of it, his mind preoccupied with frivolous things.

David rose an eyebrow slightly, watching as the boy, (Yuki?) did his little act of trying to stare him down, but apparently growing bored of it and moving on. The question he asked raised the new kage's eyebrow even further. He had apparently been there for the whole speech, or at least the important parts, to have asked his earlier questions at all, but now he wanted a refresher? David shook his head, holding back a sigh as he turned back to look at the rest of the people in the room. Some, very few actually, had left, but a good number of them were still just hanging around doing pretty much nothing. Sighing, the boy raised his right hand, making a gesture in the air. It was one he'd learned from a scroll the ANBU had given him the minute he'd accepted the position, a scroll full of ANBU command signals. This particular one was a signal to clear a room. So what if he used the one that suggested hostile intent rather than peaceful? He was new, right? And it wasn't like anyone but the ANBU themselves would know the difference. The ANBU, for their part, took it in stride, a few melding out of the shadows here and there as they were prone to do, and ushering people out the door.
Turning away from the cattle herding, David walked back around the desk, returning to the seat. before sitting down, he looked up at the desktop, where Yuki was still seated, and sighed. The boy was hyper. David didn't do hyper. "You should go get going on some training too." he "suggested", before dropping into the seat. He still had some more paperwork to study before he could get going on his own. But he would get started soon. He had a lot of catching up to do.

Yay new posting format! It only took me all day to design. =p My way of adding custom fonts to Gaia posts, cause Gaia lacks a font option.
Now go train people! I have work to do!

"Noooo~" Yuki whined, protesting being pushed out of the room with all of the other people. This was the only familiar place in town aside from where he had come, and he wasn't comfortably with walking willy nilly around a town he didn't know despite living there most of his life. Lacking complete professionalism, he half-laid himself out on the desk and locked back onto David, linking some of his physical attributes with words that had been described to him before. "Are you David~?" He asked, giving the male a cheeky smile. "Okaasan told me about yoo-oou. She said that you had a monster inside of you or something." For a moment he stopped, being forced to think before he could bring anymore words to mind. "It's okay!" The boy exclaimed, raising himself. "I've got monsters inside me too!"Omigawd, I want one tooo... I can even supply you with some fonts like my favorite, Zapfino. And yes, his name is Yuki Nagamo.

David's eyebrows rose once again as the young boy latched onto his - It was his now, wasn't it? - desk, refusing to be taken from the room. They only rose further as Yuki said something about having monsters inside of him. Before he could react to that though, ask what he meant perhaps, the boy was picked up by one of the ANBU and carried from the room, deposited outside. He was the last too, leaving David alone as the ANBU faded back into the shadows. After a moment of sitting still, David shook his head, chuckling slightly over the antics of the odd child. He would have to find out about him later. Such an odd boy.
With the crowd of shinobi gone, a few carpenters filed into the room once more. They had finished all but the office itself during the meeting, and would finish that now. Grabbing a few of the remaining files on the desk, David stood up. He didn't care much about this office to be honest. He had been much more comfortable in his hole, and had only been here for the sake of the meeting. It was seen as the place of power in the village, and as such as appropriate for that. But now the meeting was over, and he was no longer needed here. The Yamanaka ANBU was watching over the office, and could easily contact him if needed.
Walking to the middle of the room, David paused before the slab that had been placed to cover the central hole. Sand slid out of his pant legs, and into the cracks around the slab, lifting it out of place to reveal the chute leading downwards. Setting it aside, he nodded once to the ANBU, who had stepped forward slightly, and hopped into the hole. He had left instructions behind for a second trigger to be attached to the new trap door, for it to be set off from below. A way in and out of the tower. It should be done before he needed to return again.

Aoshi SarutobiGenin ///Sunagakure ///----- |||Sarutobi's Legacy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aoishi headed to the Kazekage's office to start on his work to become a shinobi. One like his predecessors before him. He doubted he'd gain the name of 'The Professor', like a man long since gone, but then again he sort of didn't wish to hold that title. To be cloaked in someone elses shadows only covers up all the feats that you-yourself has done. Something Aoishi personally didn't want to happen; to become, overshadowed by the history of that his Clan holds. Hopefully in time, he will become a legend in his own right; despite the fact that he's out of the 'homeland.'
Aoishi, had graduated from the Academy not but a couple of weeks from this current day. One who was considered a genius, but in the rights of tactics. For he never claimed he was the smartest, nor did he claim he was the smartest, nor did he claim he was the more gifted than others in the shinobi-field; well... except for when it came to Ninjutsu of course. That, was one thing he most definitely was sure he was above quite a few in. But Aoishi's true talents came with tactics. Loving the use of tactics. Whether it was upon a game board such as 'Shogi', or the what the western nations call 'Chess', or whether it was during real life situations; Aoishi was always the one to develop strategies, specifically if it came to team battles. Though he could hold his own to an extent of his Ninjutsu's, should he have a good and competent team with him, then the field will become something like a playground to him. For he hoped to not only become legendary for strength through Ninjutsu, but through the strategies that he has created. But as they say, only time will tell.
Coming to the large Kazekage tower in the center of the sand dunes, to see if the Kazekage was indeed there. Hoping to gain two forms of information from him. Are there any squads available, if so could he join them, and can he start training and again if so, can he start now. SIghing mentally as he saw all of the large structures that laid above, Aoishi knew that the longer he simply looks up and stares at it, the longer he won't be at his wanted location. Stuffing his hands into his pockets, he took up the flight of stairs. Seeing upon each floor the curious design that each floor had a single purpose that seems unrelated to any of the other levels. 'Interesting... ' He thought to himself until he came to the very top, to where he basically saw the entire village, before turning around and knocking upon the door.

"There's nobody in there." the single ANBU standing outside the door spoke, turning his head to look at the young man who seemed to desire an audience with the kage. "You could have found that out if you'd asked on the first floor." he added, rather adding insult to injury. Guard duty was boring though, and one couldn't blame a faceless nameless man for getting his kicks where he could.
Visually scanning the boy over for a second, the ANBU determined that he was a new genin, probably just graduated. If that was the case, he was likely here looking for either a mission or training, or to fill out his shinobi profile, but that was usually done on entry to the academy nowadays. Pulling a slip of paper from his robes, he handed it to the boy and returned to pretending to be a statue. The information on the paper should be enough to get him whatever he was looking for here. It was a list of locations in the village he could go, what they were for, and their addresses. Of course, it did not include where the Kazekage could be found, though it was a fair guess they would be at one of those locations.

Aoshi SarutobiGenin ///Sunagakure ///----- |||Sarutobi's Legacy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Aoishi turned to the guard who gave an answer to why he wasn't being responded to from the other side. Despite the ANBU's rather... 'smart' way of speaking to Aoishi, he merely smiled. Wondering if he should play into the game or retort in the stereotypical manner that those of his age usually did. Should he retort, he would only further fall into the statistic of his peers in promptly pissing the adults off; and should he play into the game, he might just give the ANBU something to think about while he stands in his post... all... day... long. "Yes but that would have not been fun. There would have been no adventure to me asking the secretary. I would have missed out on all the sights that I saw while climbing the stairs. Much better than standing in one placce and collecting dust... or rather sand." The youth stated slyly but spoke in the up-most polite fashion that he could, as he took the paper that was given to him. Aoishi looked it over for a moment as he wondered where he should go first to find the Kazekage. The paper was something like a tourist map but with a bit more information; having certain buildings that mere guest need not know about written upon it, without giving too much information that even villagers should not know about. 'Interesting... I know only a little of the Kazekage other than he is young. This leaves me with nothing less than deductive reasoning.' He began mentally scratching off the places he doubted a Kazekage would go and then began to set up a priority of where he would be. First would be the training facility. Why? Aoishi wasn't foolish, or rather blind enough to know that he was the only graduate of the Academy, thirsty for the Kazekage's approval for training, learning of squads, learning of missions, and gaining possible permission to gain some scrolls.
Hopefully Aoishi would have zeroed in on the Kazekage's whereabouts in one go. He wasn't a lazy youth but he didn't like wasting energy or wasting time on wasted confirmations. Nodding to the ANBU, Aoishi took down the stairs once again and would head to his hopeful correct location.

Approaching the tower with Shinji in tow, David scowled up at the monstrosity. It was ridiculously high, and the only way to bypass countless flights of stairs was to fly. Something he didn't expect Shinji quite knew how to do yet. And likely he never would either for that matter. So there was a choice. Lift both of them up, bypassing the annoying stairs, lift himself up and make Shinji take the stairs, or take the stairs himself. The first would be fastest, but would be a bad image for the village, lifting a foreign ninja straight to the kage's office, bypassing security. The second, while amusing, would be rather cruel and pointless. And the third, would be both cruel, and he'd be able to see the results of the cruelty.
Or he could invade someone else's office. There was always that option.
Pondering the options, David soon found himself at the front door of the tower. Sighing, he simply pushed the door open and walked in, taking to the stairs and making a note to have a hole bashed into the tube at the bottom floor, so he could use it as an elevator inside the tower.
Flight after flight of stairs went past, until more paranoid people would begin to think themselves trapped in a genjutsu, or spacial anomaly if not for the constantly changing environment of each floor they passed. At around the fiftieth set of stairs, David gave up on walking and simply began to float, the sand in his weights carrying him up the stairs.
Finally, they reached the final floor, which held the Kazekage's office. Landing on his feet again, David opened the door and walked in, taking a seat behind the desk as another chair flew from the side of the room to it's spot before the desk, for Shinji to sit in. Close observation would reveal a small pile of sand under the chair. The method of it's flight.
Throughout the entire trip, David had not said so much as a word, and even after he sat down, he simply began rifling through the papers on, and in, the desk as if searching for something. Finally finding it, he pulled a few papers of the pile it'd been in, and set them upside down before him, hiding the words from view.
Looking up and confirming that Shinji was sitting, David finally gave him his full attention. "You received a form when you entered the village to let you wander freely." David began, pulling said form from a pile on his desk and holding it up for Shinji to see. "This form allows you to wander our village freely, and even live here, should you have the funds to rent an apartment or buy a house. However, you will always be merely a civilian, restricted from accessing the shinobi sectors. You will not be allowed in the library without permission, nor will you be allowed to purchase weaponry, perform missions, or train in the public grounds without an escort." David paused, setting the slip of paper down on the desk, watching Shinji's face for a few seconds before speaking again.
"But you are a shinobi. You wanted to teach, and perform missions. To better yourself. For this, we need much more. You will have to first fill out a full shinobi profile," he paused for a moment, shoving the papers he had taken from his desk forward to Shinji. Upon flipping them, he would find the forms for a generic profile. "And then perform a few tests until we are satisfied that the information given is accurate, and that you can be trusted." David went silent at that, leaving an air in the room that indicated he had more to say, but was waiting for Shinji to either ask questions, or fill out his profile. Conveniently, there was already a pen beside the paper before he had even sat down.
~ [Chakra: 90/90] [Sand: 600lb] [Mission Points: 58] [D-0][C-3][B-1][A-0][S-1] The form is just a plain old profile format. At this point you can move your profile to Suna if you want. Please don't repost it here though, I don't really even need to see it. XD But rest assured, once the format is filled out, David will know everything on it. Except the background, obviously.

Konaga Shinji| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile || Following his escort closely, Shinji watched as they arrived at a monstrously large building which his interviewer entered immediately. Following his lead, Shinji began to long ascent up the stairs, but showed no signs of weakness in climbing, neither complaining about the stairs, nor showing any real difficulty with traversing them. At some point, his shinobi escort seemed to grow weary of walking and thus began to simply float above the stairs by an unknown means. Shinji figured that it was sand manipulation of some form enabling such travel and figured that anyone capable of controlling sand at will would travel in such a way all the time. The only question was, why didn't he just do it earlier and preserve the energy it took to traverse the staircase.
Analyzing the technique as he continued upward, it struck another tone in Shinji as the technique seemed familiar yet again. His mind flashed back to the fight with the other Suna-nin with seemingly the same ability. The more he watched it in fact, the more convinced he became that his earlier suspicions were correct. His escorts own words said that only one person could control the sand at will and Shinji knew for a fact that the boy he had fought earlier had done so. It had taken a few instances of the technique for Shinji to figure it out, but suddenly it had all come together and he realized that the young boy he had fought previously, must have simply had an enormous growth spurt, more or less altering his entire appearance.
His new revelation came about just as he and his escort reached the top of the stairs and entered the Kazekage's office. Confused as to why this shinobi would be allowed to simply use the Kazekage's office for his own purposes. Taking the seat which was supplied to him, Shinji wore a wide grin, having figured out the identity of the man sitting in front of him and continued to wear it as he went through his speech regarding Shinji's options. In the end however, neither really appealed to him, so Shinji responded as he had been planning to do all along...
"Hopefully there is some room for negotiation in this as neither of those options really seems appetizing to me. You see, I'm not here to become a Sunagakure shinobi... I'm an Iwagakure shinobi... always have been, always will be. I came here as a refugee to grow in strength and experience with the intended purpose of returning home one day in order to rebuild the village which was taken from me and my country. However, I realize that the Sunagakure would not simply allow someone to utilize their resources and facilities without getting something in return. So, I will offer myself as an agent to be utilized by this village..."
Shinji's tone was calm, but confident and did not falter at all as he spoke. More then any other time, his tone was serious, like that of a negotiator, but the smile he constantly wore while speaking made the conversation seem friendlier as he continued on... "I will perform missions for you, fight for you, and do all the things your average shinobi of the village would... but I cannot in good conscience say that I am a shinobi of this village, or abandon my village's headband. I'll submit whatever paperwork you'd like and I'll gladly perform a few tests, but I must insist that my identity as an Iwagakure shinobi remain intact as I work for your village as an operative. I assure you that my abilities and talents will be of sufficient payment for granting me access to stay in your village and utilize your shinobi facilities. Naturally, I would also have to ask to leave the village to return home at some point without fear of an unwanted ANBU escort after my head for 'defecting'."
"Would these terms be amenable to you...David?" Shinji smiled at his final words, wondering what the young boy, now a grown young man would be at the sudden unveiling that Shinji knew who he was. He had remembered the boys name from the fight schedule and from all the announcements leading up to their fight. After the fight, Shinji had vowed not to forget the name so that he might remember it and have the opportunity to fight him again. He was sure this was the same boy... all the information was falling into place. Who else but his actual opponent would have such intimate detail regarding the size and placement of his wound and exhibit the same abilities and remember it all so clearly.
Shinji had already mentally kicked himself for not putting all the pieces together earlier, but was enjoying himself now that he was no longer on defense in speaking with his escort. Now he was on the attack, and though it was a metaphorical attack, it was still an attack... and that is where Shinji liked to be. [Chakra Reserves: 36 / ∞] [Stamina : 83/85]

David frowned slightly as Shinji chose to introduce his own terms to the contract. Without hearing them, he knew already that nothing in the contract could be changed. He had not invented it. It was a system that had been in place for years. But as Shinji continued, speaking his terms, the frown vanished. These "Terms", did not actually affect the contract at all. They were really as simple as a notice of resignation. Not that one normally resigned from a shinobi village, but it wasn't entirely uncommon.
As Shinji finished, David was about to reply when he realized the other boy had been trailing his sentence, and ended it with his own name. A smile quickly drew across his face. Finally, after he'd dropped so many hints from the moment they had 'met', Shinji had figured it out. Oh, he'd thought he'd had it earlier, but had apparently not been sure. Now, something had apparently changed, and he was certain of it.
"Amazing what modern medicine can do, isn't it?" the young kage answered, vaguely gesturing to himself. But now wasn't the time for that conversation. Reaching out, he tapped on the form before Shinji. "Your terms would not affect this contract. Any shinobi in the employ of Sunagakure is allowed to resign, with notice, at any time. You may also retain your headband in honor of your lost village. However, while you are employed here, you will be a Sunagakure shinobi, and expected to wear our mark."

Konaga Shinji| Konaga Clan | Speed/Offensive Type | Iwagakure | Chuunin ||| Shinobi Profession: Teaching Master || RPC Profile || Shinji was a little confused at David's statement in regards to 'modern medicine', but responded with an amused tone, saying"Indeed it is" before he continue on. He wasn't sure whether he was referring to some procedure that made him look older, or to the job the healers had done in patching them up after their battle, but the answer would have been the same in either regard, so Shinji didn't worry too much about what the young boy was referring to. It seemed however that his former opponent had done well enough for himself since they had last met. He seemed to be rather well respected by the village, even commanding a bit more respect and regard from Etsushi then the average gate guard did. Apparently, he was also welcome to simply use the Kazekage's office whenever he wanted... but then again, perhaps there was na open door policy within this building that he was not aware of.
Analyzing the situation in his mind as David continued on, Shinji's mind suddenly fluttered away from the scene, the young boy's words becoming drowned out by the flood of pain which consumed his body, arresting it completely. From an outside perspective, David would clearly have noticed this, as a look of agony suddenly washed across Shinji's face as his eyes strained to remain open and conscious of his environment. With careful observation, Shinji's arms would seem to be shaking... a sign that something was straining his body and taxing it heavily. After several seconds, Shinji could be seen to have suddenly relaxed, though a sigh of release as if suddenly exhausted by whatever just took place followed with some heavy breathing. Physically exhausted by the immense spike of agonizing pain Shinji felt, it took several seconds to compose himself, which he did with a deep breath before leaning back in the chair provided for him.
Shinji's mind immediately wished that his former statement about the wonders of modern medicine could have meant something in regard to his own pain, but choked the thought down with a bit of a scoff and grin, knowing that such thinking only lead to a depressing cycle of remorse and hatred regarding his bloodline. with that thought, Shinji straightened himself up in the chair once more, trying to regain his aire of confidence in the midst of his former opponent and finally gave a response to the contract which he had mostly heard before his mind and body was arrested by pain... "I suppose I can live with that, if those are the rules of the village... but I'll always consider my identity as an Iwagakure ninja foremost before all others. Not that it seems to matter much to you, but it's important for me to remind myself of it."
Shinji didn't expect someone who hadn't seen the utter destruction of his home village and nearly everything and everyone he knew within it mercilessly crushed and obliterated. A flash back of several horrifying scenes following the aftermath of the attack played through his mind as his first steps back into the light revealed a dust-covered field of rubble littered with the dead bodies of shinobi and civilian alike. His mind lost in thought, Shinji's smile disappeared for a brief moment before a long sigh escaped from his lips. Leaning forward, Shinji then proceeded to fill out the information on the form as required of him, doing so in complete silence. It seemed a strange thing for him to have to write out his various skills and abilities and categorize them into Special Talent fields or other such details, but he did so as best he could and handed the form back to David when he was done and then leaned back in his chair once more.
"I'm sure you won't have any trouble utilizing my talents. I'm sure there is a lot I can do for the village in my time here while I continue to grow. And I'm always up for a fight if anyone needs a sparring partner... or if someone just needs a good beat-down." with that thought, the long absent smile from Shinji's face finally returned and he waited for David to inspect his profile. He was sure he would have many questions since some areas were left somewhat vague, but Shinji didn't feel right revealing everything about himself, especially about his bloodline to others. Still, he was sure questions would be asked, so he waited patiently for them to come. [Chakra Reserves: 36 / ∞] [Stamina : 82/85]
