Kaede nodded her head, seeing the arrow burst away from the bow. "Nakaya is progressing very well. Let us move on." She said, selecting the next technique. "The Pincer Fang is done with two arrows, perhaps this shall be more tricky." She said the last part as an aside to herself. "You will fill both of the arrows with a fine stream of chakra exactly like the Arc Bolt. But this time upon release, the two arrows will go in opposite directions and curve to meet at the point you selected on two different sides." She said, using two fingers to demonstrate. She had them together at first, then separated them and went in opposite directions, curving each. Kaede had them meet at their points together.
○ Pincer Fang
Description: Using two arrows instead of one, the user follows the process for Arc Bolt with the flow of chakra. However, upon release, the two arrows form a pincer-like movement, arcing wide and then curving back in on two different sides of the target.

Another simple technique, one that didn't require too much thought. He took aim at the jounin yet again, and Drew back the string on his bwo with two arrows located on it.They were both filled with chakra, and Nakaya had their courses planed. He let them go, and they both went in a perfect claw shape around the girl, impaling the tree behind her in what would be both lungs. Simple.

Kaede nodded her head, and decided to see if he could keep up with her. She kept her eyes on the scroll, and began to describe the techniques he would learn. "Learning the Rapid Fire will allow Nakaya to quickly let off shot after shot, while keeping the same speed, strength, and general accuracy." Kaede started, thinking that one was easy enough."If someone is hiding behind an obstacle, Nakaya can hit them with the Sidewinder. Just force it to arc around whatever Nakaya is trying to avoid." She said, wondering if he'd manage that one. "The Heaven's Spear is a bit more theatrical than other techniques. Nakaya will have to make it look like he shot on accident or missed, and launch the arrow into the sky. After sometime, it will come down. As it does, it receives an electrical charge and spins like a drill. If the enemy is stupid enough to get hit, they will suffer from a gaping wound and non-lethal shocks."
○ Rapid Fire
Description: Calling upon a wealth of trained stamina, the user proceeds to sling shot after shot of arrows at his target. While accuracy becomes secondary to speed, the arrows still are very likely to hit their mark, with numbers behind them.
○ Sidewinder
Description: A technique that puts an end to the outstanding rivalry between archers and walls. Through harsh training and skill, the user can, upon firing an arrow, forcibly arc it around a barricade, wall, obstruction, etc., in order to hit the desired coward behind it.

○ Heaven Spear
Description: The bite behind this technique comes from the confusion it spreads to the opponent. Firing an arrow directly up into the air, the user makes it seem almost accidental or lazy. As the target forgets about it, they soon learn to regret. After several minutes the arrow returns with bonus, now with an electrical charge and spinning rapidly like a drill with the wind following it. If the target is unable to dodge he suffers a more gaping wound from the wind drill and also is shocked with a non-fatal charge.

With the addition of these few techniques to the list of things Nakaya needed to learn, he would find himself busy for a few minutes with each one. He began with the rapid shot. He jogged over to retrieve the arrows he had previously used in addition to the ones he had on him, he would begin to string each one through the bow and fire them. At first the were wild, hitting within a few meter radius around his target. The more he shot however, the closer to the natural speed and strength of one arrow he was able to get, and the closer to hitting the target he ended up. He walked over and recovered his ammo and then walked back to his position for more training. (1/1)
He would line up a dummy behind his tree, and then walk back to his spot. With knowledge of where the dummy was located, the boy made an arc of chakra out towards where the dummy was, and pulled back on the bow. He closed one eye for better aim, and then took a deep breath. He let the bow go, and a second later the dummy fell the the ground with the arrow spine deep in the side of it's neck. It followed the line perfectly, the way he had calculated it to in his head. The angle was right, and would have killed a man should they have been unfortunate enough to be hit by it. A perfect assassination by most standards. (1/1)
The final technique proved to be the biggest challenge of them all. Nakaya aimed a shot straight up, and let it go with his chakra lining it. The arrow flew through the air, out of sight, and Nakaya counted the seconds. Five seconds later, the arrow came down and pierced the top of another dummy, drilling straight into it's head. The technique was a very simple one for him to learn, but learning to apply it in battle might take some more skill. (1/1)

Kaede clapped six times for Nakaya, twice for each technique. After, she upped the ante a bit. "Nakaya has progressed to Stage 3, so he should be prepared to struggle a bit more." She started, able to visibly gauge how Nakaya progressed. "The next technique is a trap rather than a direct attack. It is called Tripwire, and it is created by chakra. He attaches it to the end of his arrow, and the opposite end to his hand. When he shoots it, the trap is set. Depending on your element, Nakaya can infuse the chakra string with his element. That will make the opponent receive a shocking dose of the element." She said, moving to the next technique. "This is yet another technique that is not made to kill. Nakaya will knock five arrows and connect chakra to the end of each of them. When he shoots them they make contact with something, they will form a net. If Nakaya wishes so, he can infuse the strings with his element, same as the tripwire." Kaede paused, taking in a breath to speak once more. "Bomb arrow is a technique that Nakaya must prepare for ahead of time. The shafts of the arrows must be created ahead of time. Now the placement is up to Nakaya, but when he is ready he can make the arrows explode with the force of two explosive tags."
○ Tripwire
Description: The user forms a thin string of chakra attached to the end of the arrow, and the other end connected to the palm of his hand. As the bolt is shot, it embeds in a tree trunk or other surface, with a long line attached. The user then attaches the other end to another nearby surface, and the trap is set. Depending on the element the user fuses with the chakra, the opponent, when walking into the line, will receive a shocking dose of that element in damage.
Costs 3 stamina and chakra.
○ Restraint Shot
Description: The user lines five arrows and draws them back, connecting them all at a point with chakra and intertwining them. As the user shoots, the arrows spiral outward, and the chakra forms a net. When the arrows hit a solid surface, any object or person in the middle is trapped. If an element is added to the mix, an edge can be given to this restraining technique.
Costs 5 chakra and stamina
○ Bomb Arrow
Description: A technique that utilizes previously-constructed shafts to make a deadly technique. The user fires off the arrow(s) towards the opponent, and can either aim true or miss purposely. The shaft will connect with something, person or object, and nothing happens at first. But the user has the option to set it off at any given moment, and when the time is right, does so, sending an explosion around the opponent.
Causes the damage of an explosive tag, and costs 2 chakra to detonate.

Nakaya began with the easiest technique, the trip wire. He first acquired an arrow and placed a stream of his chakra directly on the back of the arrow. It had to be sticky, but also elastic enough to be attached to the back of his arrow. It was a light amount that fit both requirements, easy enough to begin a practice run with. He shot the arrow at a tree, and his chakra stayed in a line between them.(1/1)
He would thread his fire chakra through the line of chakra in order to achieve the second effect of it. The fire transformed the invisible tripwire, and Nakaya tripped it himself to check the possible usefulness of the technique itself. The result was a line of fire that would burn someone and possibly light them as well, that only lasted a few seconds but was hot enough to cause some damage, and set of a trap as well. Nakaya noted this and moved on. (2/2)

Nakaya Moved on, removing five arrows and threading them as evenly as possible through his fingers. The light, skinny arrows fit well between his fingers and somehow all fit safely on the bow. He pulled back to get a feel for the tension in the bow. He adjusted the positioning of everything so that he was comfortable holding all of the arrows on the bow. He was, now, an archer. It was to be his specialty, so he had to be sure he could deal with different situations and skills such as this one. With the easy part down, he moved on to creating a single point of chakra at the bottom of the middle arrow.(1/2)
With that point of chakra made, he had to thread it to each one of his arrows. Each of the arrows had to be connected by this line of tangible chakra. Once Nakaya was sure he had connected them all, he released the bowstring. He watched as the five separate arrows began to separate, opening up into a net of chakra that would do well to hold anyone down for at least a few seconds. Nakaya watched as his chakra began to get rigid and sturdier, the result of his doton chakra.(2/2)

Nakaya looked at his sensei and bowed. Sensei, I'm going to go take a rest and regain some chakra, maybe take a walk around the village. I'll be back in a few hours to continue. Arigato, he said and then rose to his standing position. He put his long bow on his back, secured by a tie, and turned away from her. He locked his fingers behind his head and began to walk away from the girl. He had done some good work today, learning as much as he had, and he felt entitled to a break. He would swing by the gates to see if there was any commotion up there, and if not he would probably grab a bite to eat and take a quick nap. What he was really hoping for was to meet someone new today. He had been reminded more and more of his lost love everytime he happened upon Saiya's eyes. Whenever he and Takashi joked about something he felt a pang in his heart as thoughts of Tomo rushed forth. Nakaya needed a break from the normalcy of his life. He needed someone who could distract him from his thoughts of Tomo and Aoi, or at least make him feel something other than pain. He needed to feel like he belonged.

 Konaga Sai| Konaga Clan | Akatsuki | Jounin | RPC Profile | Coming up into the training grounds, Zenko still clinging to him as part of their ruse, Sai walked slowly, taking note of all that he could see and hear around him. It was a strange transition to be around so many people, to hear so much, and yet feel it all through the haze of his bloodline's numbing effect to the world. The only thing which was real to him, clear and in focus was Zenko and it helped to center him among the masses. Still, as they got to the training fields, a sudden swelling of pain rose up within him, the agony of his bloodline surging forth throughout his body bringing him untold amounts of pain. Instantly overtaken by it, Sai's body began to falter as he almost fell over, his mind and body completely ravaged by the sudden spring of torture tearing through his body.
Had he not had Zenko nearby, he might have fallen, but luckily he was able to lean heavily on her as he knew she would be fully capable of supporting his weight. Closing his eyes and clutching his head which pounded with fury amidst the intense burn pain rushing through his veins, Sai focused on Zenko, trying to draw some sense of relief from the other Konaga near him. It was not much help however as it continued to ravage him for a while before he was able to open his eyes and tense his body, forcibly fighting back the pain which was debilitating him. By the end, Sai was gradually able to gain back control of his body, easing up on the weight he was placing on his partner by lifting himself off of her. His body, not knowing what else to do released a wave of endorphins which would almost feel like relief if it weren't for the lingering pain still wrecking havoc within his body. For a Konaga however, the shift in the severe levels of pain to a level of pain even the slightest bit more manageable was the closest thing they got to relief at any time.
Feeling his body physically weakened, Sai felt the pain continue to pulsate throughout his body, but pushed through to perform his duty regardless. "I will take the first activation of Chakra Sight Zenko. We will take turns eventually, but I will use it here. I have seen Jinchuuriki through the Chakra Sight before and they are distinct in a subtle way, as if they have a small overlap in their chakra signatures. had I not been exposed to see so many through the Chakra Sight, I might not have seen it, but the distinction is crystal clear in my mind now. I will teach you how to see it as well. it requires the full activation of the chakra sight however, and it will be painful. It is however the only way to identify them that I know of beyond inciting a fight with every member of the village until they release a tailed form."
His instructions clear, Sai breathed in deeply and separated himself from Zenko's grip as he began to concentrated and focus himself to the task at hand. Already feeling weakened and having felt the pain of his bloodline so often this day, Sai was not looking forward to the after-effects of this technique, but it needed to be done. Placing two fingers over his right eye, Sai closed his left eye as he activated the technique. Immediately the dark blue glowing speckles of light in his iris began to multiply and coalesce into the center of his eye until the entire pupil and iris was filled with light, glowing brightly. Instantly Sai's vision passed from that of the normal light spectrum to one pure of chakra, revealing to him the world in front of him solely as it existed from that perspective. Removing his fingers from occluding his eye, Sai scanned the field, picking up many different signatures, some weak, others strong... but none which seemed particularly out of place for the training fields. He would have to continue to concentrate on this sight for a while to detect more details of those around him, at which point the unique signature of any Jinchuuriki would be revealed to him.
"Zenko, make sure you watch for suspicious activity around us. I will likely stick out like a sore thumb here to any sensor in the vicinity, as would you. Be on your guard, but remember... we are unique. Most of what anyone else could sense we could pass off as a rare and unique lineage that we share, which certainly seems to be true."

Mikomi smiled and reached into her pack for the katon E-D rank scroll. She opened it up to the genjutsu section and turned it around to show them to Mifune. You can learn as many of these as you like, then we'll move on to ninjutsu if we have time left over. She could see from behind the scroll that a man seemed to be having trouble, but chose to wait and see if the the situation worsened before walking over to see if assistance was needed.

Fulfilling her role to the best of her ability, and possibly a bit more, Zenko walked on. She was in a blissful mood, which was apparent by the wide smile plastered on her face. Her hands generally kept their place about Sai's torso, since she preferred to keep some sense of decency when with the man. That, and she didn't think that he would approve of her feeling him up in public. She wanted to though, since it wasn't often that she was able to get her hands on the male before her. It wasn't until she felt his weight beginning to shift in her direction that she was pulled back out of her stupor.
The expression of happiness nearly vanished before she could get her bearings, fought back by the need to keep up appearances. Worry seeped into her once more, as it had several times since Sai had arrived back in her company. Despite understanding that the pain was inevitable, she still wished that he didn't have to go through it all. Seeing his weakness (as well as hers at times) combated the regal image that she tried to maintain of him. A man of unstoppable power, and majesty with the utmost control of himself. At times like these, however, the instincts of her 'wifely' side came to fruition, casting aside the fangirl that dominated her usual attitude. Zenko easily kept herself upright, and in turn, Sai until his flashed faded, walking abreast with him while casting glances in his direction. The only other signs of his struggle other than the obvious, were the clenching of his well-toned muscles below her arms.
As soon as the episode was over, Zenko returned to her normal attitude as quickly as she could manage, and with effort, cast aside the emotions that she didn't need. They were still on a mission, which coincidentally was reinforced when he began speaking to her. She could fawn over him later like she usually did.
Listening with the attention of an indentured servant, all the kunoichi could manage was a curt nod in reply. Not a moment after he separated himself from her embrace, leaving her with a temporary void that was filled with the duties presented to her. Her eyes dragged themselves away from the figure of her mentor, moving to the training grounds on which they presently stood. There were many people milling about, but none of them seemed to be doing anything unusual. It would be hard to tell anyway, since a whole range of jutsu were being performed here.
... I'll just sit over there, and revel in my complete freedom."

They seemed to have everything under control. Besides the man made him uneasy he did not know why but the man did. He brushed aside the thoughts and focused on the genjutsu.

Konaga Sai| Konaga Clan | Akatsuki | Jounin | RPC Profile | Holding his technique, Sai looked around the entirety of the training fields, turning left and right slowly to observe everyone he could within it. After some amount of time, the chakra world he was seeing suddenly shifted to show secondary colors beneath the surface of everything else, displaying various aspects of many of the people on the training fields, but nothing which could be attributed to a jinchuuriki. Feeling the end of the technique coming on and seeing no chakra signatures of interest, Sai finally ended the Chakra Sight technique, his vision slowly blurring from that of the chakra world as his glowing blue eye dimmed and the chakra particles gathered in his eye spread out to his iris once more.
Then, immediately the pain of the technique hit him like a ton of bricks, forcing him to grab his eye in pain as he shielded it from the light. The headache coming on strong, Sai's head pounded as he recoiled from the sudden pain in the middle of the field. Not wanting to make a spectacle of himself, Sai did not allow the pain he felt to continue debilitating him as he forced himself to stand in a normal position, opening his eye to the best of his ability. His eye was watering however and could barely be opened, casting nothing but a blurred image of the surrounding area as the pain continued to stab through his head as it lingered on. Quickly the pain flooded out to the rest of his body making him feel even more pained then normal, the stress of which he could feel within his bones as even more of his endurance was drained away.
Sai felt his head grow suddenly light and woozy as if he were about to pass out, but quickly caught himself, forcing his body back under his control as turned closed his bad eye and turned to Zenko, signaling for her to follow him as he began to walk back towards the streets. "There are no Jinchuuriki here... we will have to try another part of the village. One where there will be many people, but where we can sit in isolated seclusion. Perhaps a restaurant of some kind. Though, I am reaching the limit of how far I will allow myself to be pushed for the day. I do not wish to endanger myself too much while in enemy territory. Perhaps we can find the hotel after we check one more area. What do you know of Konoha my dear?"
