Yes and I could just see Alis having a blast taking over Olympus. Herry and I know the twins are going to be separated and have no memories of each other so anyone interacting with them should be careful.

I can't wait to see this get started. I missed playing Apollo.

So how old are the gods going to be when they turn mortal? I was thinking that it would be interesting to see them at different ages and living really different lives.

I guess you guys can decide that. I was kind of thinking teenagers, but it might be really fun to have a two-year-old or something. I'll let you all know when the new section of this Roleplay begins.

Okay, I've made all of the necessary changes. Section 2 is now officially open.

The Valkyries swooped down onto the lovely battlefield. More warriors for Vahalla. They needed more warriors for Vahalla. Baudihillie spotted one that she liked--a good, strong one. He'd do nicely. She swooped down even further and tapped him on the shoulder. He turned around, panicked, and was run through by a sword. Perfect. She picked him up, screaming in victory.
"Baudihillie, will you stop that shrieking?" Goll muttered.
"You're one to talk. She of the Awful Wailing," said Herfjoturr.
"Stop that bickering. No prattle--just battle," murmured Gunn.
They all nodded and continued with the gathering of the slain warriors.

Loki had had little peace since his blood-brother Odin had brought up the subject of uniting themselves with the Greek Pantheon.
Alone in his section of Asgard, the God of Trickery was seething with rage.
"Those Imposters!" he cursed, overturning a stool with his foot. How dare his 'Blood-brother' suggest a treaty with those... Things! The whole idea had insulted him from the beginning, and it was unlikely that he could steer his Blood-brother from this mad course. It was probable, in his eyes, that it would all end in a weakening of the Asgardian race (the norse gods) and that those 'Olympians' would take over Asgard. He cursed the names of those 'self-styled gods' and promptly crashed onto his bed in a huff. "If only I could do away with those..." he mumbled some obscure curse to the Olympians, and set about thinking of ways to get rid of, or possibly destroy the Olympians.

(OOC:Is that ok?)

Artemis scowled slightly. She and Apollo had been summoned back to Olympus because the Norse Gods were coming to see about a treaty and as two of the twelve Olympian Gods she and Apollo had to be there according to both their father and step-mother. She glanced over at her brother. " Why does it seem like every time you and I actually get a chance to spend time together something comes up and we can't get out of it?"

An idea came to Loki as he was walking past an orchard. There was a way to get rid of the pesky Olympians. At the top of the tallest tree in the Orchard was an apple. This apple had a silvery sheen and it was known that this was fatal to godkind. Quickly picking this apple and swiftly running to his chambers, he set about making a Toxin to rid himself of the Olympians. Maybe he could rid himself of Baldr and Thor at the same time.

(OOC: borrowed a snippet from the Disney Hercules, and I apologise))

Poseidon, having been summoned to Olympus, was asleep in the long lecture on the Norse Gods. Solarinn, however, curled around the hat that Poseidon wore all the time, was interested. He did not know that they shared their land with dead honoured mortals. He'd silently chuckled at Hades' reaction when that had been announced. However, Poseidon was woken suddenly with a big spluttering when his 'Shellphone' startled to bubble madly and Zeus was talking about the Norse drinking habits.

((Just had to put the Shellphone joke in.))

OOC: ((Man, you guys started this really quick before I even had the chance to have a say. I'm still in, I was just busy dealing with things IRL unfortunately. I'll still be Ares. If its ok, I'd prefer if Ares keeps his memory when he is changed mortal. That way he can be obsessed with wanting to re-take Olympus and will have to go about trying to convince the other former Olympians who they once were. I think it'd make a good plot.))

IC:
Meetings, meetings. Ares would rather be done away with them for good personally. Besides, the Norse deities were always nosing around whenever they came for a visit. The Vikings always were a war-like race and even now their gods and goddesses always tried to seek out the Greek God of War himself and exchange ideas and battle strategies.

Normally Ares didn't mind it at all, but it was that damned accent that managed to crawl under his skin every time. Besides, he had business to attend to. Havoc to wreak, and here he was awaiting the treaty and alliance of the Olympians to the Nordic Gods.

He impatiently tapped his finger at the book he held in his hand. It was a Book on the History of War and he was anxious to use a particular strategy he had used several centuries ago. A low growl escaped his throat as he sat awaiting the procedures. From all appearances, it seemed they were waiting for everyone to arrive before the proceedings were to begin.

OOC: ((That's fine with me.))

Athena drummed her fingers on the table as she listened to Zeus's boring babble. She had done all of the necessary research as soon as she found out the Norse were coming, and wished she hadn't. This meeting wouldn't be quite as boring if the information wasn't repeated. She sighed. She wasn't looking forward to any of these gods. They were so violent, one-dimensional, and slightly anti-female... Even the Valkyries, who, sort of like her, were battle goddesses, didn't interest her in the least. Hmm...think think think. She heard Poseidon's shellphone start to bubble madly. She raised one eyebrow at him. She sort of half-wished Alis were here, that would make everything a bit more interesting...but minor gods weren't allowed. Athena would come back to her palace to a big rambling yet grammatically perfect argument to that.

Apollo frowned and said to Artemis, "Yeah, it's so annyoing, I wonder what's up this time." He and Artemis would have to be at Mt. Olympus soon because it seemed important, vague but important.

"If I'd thought about it I would have wrung the answer out of Hermes. It's been a while since I've done that. Well we might as well go the sooner we go to whatever this meeting is the sooner we can come back and hunt" Artemis told her brother as she let her bow and quiver vanish and her outfit changed to something that wouldn't get her a lecture from Hera again. She had come in her hunting outfit once and Hera lectured her about it for nearly an entire day. Artemis had no wish to repeat that experience.

Poseidon woke, covered in bubbles and opened his Shellphone, the bubbles stopping.
Inside the shell was a blue message from his messenger placed at the gate.
The Norse are here. Prepare yourselves.
"Hades, Can you tell our brother that the Norse are here by the Gate?" he said, blatantly cutting off Zeus half-sentence on the Norse trading system.

Loki had finished the concoction and had been trying to find out a way to get them to consume the toxin. He wouldn't be able to give the toxin in the food that was being taken with them, as there was always the chance that he would poison himself. Putting on his 'best' face, he approached his blood-brother's son Thor, Loki persuaded him that he had changed his ways and was "Totally for the union for the Norse and Greeks all along."
Considering this for what appeared to be a milisecond, Loki was given control of the Gifts to the Greek Gods.

"The Norse, here already." Athena scowled, gripping her spear tighter and adjusting her helmet. "I am armed with my spear and a copy of 2000 Most Challenging and Obscure Words." She was hating the Norse gods more and more the more she thought about them.

The Valkyries adjusted their armor as they prepared to ride into the Gates of Olympus.
"I wonder who their warrior maidens are," Radgrid...wondered.
"Probably not as good as us," Hrist said.
"Their warrior goddess is Athena. She's pathetic, she's also the goddess of crafts, wisdom, and strategy. And she doesn't even shriek when a warrior she fancies dies, giving her the chance to take him to Vahalla."
"Gudrun, their heroes don't go to Vahalla. And Athena's more about strategy than shrieking."
"Well, that's totally pathetic."
"Talk about it."

"Well, they're welcome to come in whenever they like," Hestia said. "Athena, put that spear down. We don't want to make them feel insecure."

((OOC: Does Hestia get changed into a mortal, or does she stay immortal and try to calm the minor gods down?))
