Syama had been quietly watching the chat between Dosu and Yamikumo. She smirked and began to move quickly and silently until she was right behind Yamikumo. "Well, aren't you the tough Yamikumo." Her ears twitched and she jumped back. "Well Dosu. I take your offer." She landed high up and used her chakra to keep her there. "And that was so sweet that you had faith in me." She looked down at both of them from her perch.

"Oh Dosu, she is much too old for you."
Yamikumo patted Dosu's right shoulder as he chuckled at the situation. There was never a moment when Yamikumo ignored a potential way to make fun of someone. As for Syama, she seemed to be a decent Shinobi based on her Chakra Control, but Yamikumo didn't say a word to Dosu that he was impressed on his find.
"You must be Syama; I'm Yamikumo as you seem to already know."
Yamikumo knew where to look despite his blindness since he could hear Syama's heart, taking in the fact he needed to direct his head a few inches above Syama's heart. There were cases in his youth where he did that same thing and looked a woman's chest because of the location of the heart, though he had now grown a custom to taking precautions, even though it was indecent to slap a blind person for staring at by accident.
"Please forgive Yamikumo, sometimes he holds no respect for others..."
Dosu didn't want to have his image damaged by a few simple words and he had to keep his personality mature since he was going to work with two Shinobi that obviously had more experience then he did and were older. Dosu didn't know how old Syama was, but he knew Yamikumo was sixteen since Dosu had many conversations with him during training; it was Yamikumo who gave him the scars that required Dosu to wear the bandages.
"Let us head into the exams then."
Yamikumo knew Dosu's technique well, but he was slightly nervous to be working with Syama since he didn't know her intentions or her technique in combat. Dosu probably knew some of Syama's combat style since he knew about her Kekkei Genkai. As Dosu walked into the building, Yamikumo didn't follow yet.
"You first."
Yamikumo was being polite and offering to have Syama go in to the building before him since Dosu was too busy keeping up his tough guy attitude to pay attention to common practice. Yamikumo also wanted to talk with Syama about her combat style and how it might affect Yamikumo's style of combat.

Kikyo opened the last door and looked inside. She saw countless shinobi from all villages.
"Guys..." Kikyo started to say, before she spotted the rest of the rookies.

Syama frowned. "Hey..." She never like the word old being applied to her. "I'm probably older then you, Yamikumo." She puffed up her cheeks to show she was annoyed. 'Man I feel like a mother now, being with these two.' She thought watching them. "Yes I am."
Syama sighed lightly and then looked at Dosu. "Eh. Stuff happens and thats just how some people are." She looked at Yamikumo and examined him. 'Blind, he most likely younger then me.' She looked up and watched Dosu entered.
"Thank you." She smiled and pushed off from her purch. Landing close to Yamikumo, she said. "Your are blind, right?" She stretched and entered the building. "Well, I hope you have fun with this 19 year old." She laughed and went on.

"Oh, yes I'm blind...It works with my Ransha Kekkei Genkai...Nineteen you say? I suppose you can still pass as a Genin, though it shouldn’t be too hard for you."
Yamikumo entered along side with Syama; soon Dosu was in front of them as he kept a steady pace with them. If Yamikumo remembered correctly, the written exam was going to first. This one would be easy for both Dosu and Yamikumo since their expertise in sound could read the motions the pencils made when they hit paper, so Syama wouldn’t have to worry about it.
"Dosu said you had a Kekkei Genkai of your own...What’s it called?"
Dosu noted Yamikumo's subtle flirting attempts as an attempt to annoy Dosu; he didn't have any feelings for Syama other then maybe a mild friendship, but Yamikumo was exploiting that to get to his head. Dosu hoped Syama would find out and quickly deal with them since Yamikumo would keep doing it to annoy Dosu in hopes to make Dosu slip up later on during a mission. Dosu didn't know why Yamikumo was always trying to frustrate him, though he was always a confusing individual to deal with; he was the one who trained Dosu in the Ransha style.

Syama nodded. "Most likely true." She put her hands behind her head. "I can. I am sure of that because someone asked me if I was 16." She said cheery. "Oh ya. Its not one that really seen all that much. It's Crystal Release." She was quite happy at the moment as she remembered the tree she had crystallized earlier. "Hehe. I crystallized a tree earlier."

Having a conversation with Yamikumo while he was walking was a task in itself since he had to constantly concentrate on his surroundings; if he didn't, Yamikumo could end up walking into a wall or a support beam. If Yamikumo got too into conversation, he would lose his focus and also lose a perception of his surroundings as well. Ransha allowed him to detect extremely small noises, so the vibrational pulse of footsteps helped his 'see' his environment. The problem was this method was tricky since footsteps weren't one-hundred percent reliable, so he also used the mild echo of his and Syama's voice to further increase his perception.

She thought for a bit about his question. Syama really wasn't quite sure on that. "Sense crystal is a solid and is like stone... it should be about to." She finally answered as she remembered the things she was taught in school. "You mite want to take a step to the left unless you wish to hit a pole." She warned Yamikumo

Yamikumo did take a step to the left like Syama suggested, since he didn't sense the pole due to their conversation about abilities. The blindness of Yamikumo was necessary to continue his own individuality and become less of a pawn for Orochimaru. Blindness in this day and age was curable, but Ransha blindness wasn't; not even the greatest medical Shinobi could bring back his eyes, which Yamikumo regretted, but it was for a purpose.
"Just make them hollow if you can; I could use them then. I also wish for you to practice making throwing crystals since I have quite an aim."
Yamikumo's aim was the greatest in Otogakure and he had made that claim based on many facts; because his hearing was so adapt, Yamikumo could launch any projectile at any point he heard a noise, but while working in a team it was a precaution to use certain techniques that prevented friendly fire.
Dosu sighed as he listened to Yamikumo’s statement of having a great aim with throwing weapons; Dosu had countered many of Yamikumo’s précised attacks using his Melody Arm during training, so Dosu wasn’t afraid of Yamikumo’s skill. Dosu’s aim was also great, but not as good as Yamikumo’s, although it didn’t need to be as great; Dosu’s attacks had a great area of effect due to the vibrations he made with his Melody Arm. Dosu’s attacks were what made him the main contender of taking Yamikumo’s spot; his attacks were often fatal. Though the attacks Dosu had were not fatal in themselves, they often affected motor skill and caused internal bleeding, rendering opponents unable to continue the battle and easy pickings for a finishing attack. Dosu stopped at the room door to the waiting area for testing where all the other Genin attending the Chunin Exams were suppose to go.
“We’re here…”
Dosu opened the door and entered, immediately grabbing the attention of many Shinobi who had already arrived that were also waiting for the first portion of the exam. There was another door that leads to the exams and another group of Genin were in front of it and among them was Blade. Dosu remained calm and waited for the rest of his team to entered, but he kept his one eye fixated on his target; Blade was the one Dosu was assigned to kill during the exams and he needed to get a good idea what he looked like.
