"Wait, what? I need to stop going on trips, everytime I come back s**t has done a complete 180 degree flop!"
In an instant he had melted into a shadow on the ground and disappeared, leaving this Assassin of his standing there utterly confused.

He emerged an instant later, through the floor of the Headmaster's office.
"So, who exactly are you?"

Adolf actually stumbled at first, but he recovered quickly and managed to sidestep long enough to take the pile of books before walking out on his own. He didn't leave, though, without casting a small, unpleasant gassing spell--not the kind that would leave immediate gas, no, and not a vocal spell, either. Rather, later on in the day, whenever he had company, Silas would find himself with an unfortunate flatulence problem.

If there was one thing Danni hated more than being thrown bodily against a wall, it was being threatened by a man who looked like a greasy weasel.

She picked herself up off the floor. "Oh, you can expel me. In fact, feel free. But I wonder what your superiors would say if they knew that I, the Danni Rinaldi who was mentioned in Dragon Boy's trial, was never raped? Sure wouldn't look good for you, boy-o." She said, and raised a brow.

"Only some? Wow, you're stupid. Stupid assholes have no rights to sit where Ialo's a** belongs." With this said, she strode over, planted her butt back in Ialo's chair, crossing her arms over her chest.

Silas could only smile at Danni's pathetic attempts to scare him. "Oh please, you don't think I thought of that? I fabricated enough evidence to convict him of rape of not only you, but at least 3 other girls at this school if I wanted. All the court will have is your word against mine, and I have the evidence." As for the chair, Silas simply shrugged at that. "To be honest, I think you're right. Only Ialo's bony a** belongs in that piece of trash, moth eaten ottoman. Good thing I was planning on torching it anyway. Boys?" And with that Silas' golems promptly picked up the chair and threw it through the bay window behind the desk, causing the chair (and subsequently Danni) to fall 6 stories down to the ground where the chair smashed into a thousand pieces.

Now that that distraction was out of the way, Silas could focus his attention on the rather dark individual that had decided to waste his time even further. "I'm the new Headmaster, Silas Lyme. I'll give you the same option I gave them. Either leave or I'll make you leave. I have a highly important meeting to get to in the next few minutes and you are not to be privy to it." Silas couldn't be sure, but he was almost positive he could feel something... wrong about this person. But it didn't really matter because his entourage had finally made it up the stairs and was now congregating outside the doors to his office. Silas somehow felt safer with witnesses around.

With a small gesture from his right hand, the doors to the hallway snapped shut and locked.
"Sorry, the wandering eyes of the unwanted distract me. Now, Silas Lyme you said it was? I'd like you to answer a few simple questions,"

He paused for a moment, looking to the two golems that had been glaring at him since he had appeared. "And before I continue, I'll warn you now not to sick your dogs on me. It'll just end badly on your part. I'll also warn you not to give me orders before you go and try a second time."

Glaring back at them, he realized once more how unsatisfying it was to attempt to scare something that had no soul, it simply never showed.

"Anywho, if you check that fancy list of teachers that I'm sure is lying around here somewhere, I'm a history teacher, and I'm entitled to answers. Why are you the headmaster now? Why are all these people flooding the school? Why are you attempting to kick my uh, 'acquaintances', out of this office? And oh, of course, why the hell was Danni Rinaldi just hurled from that window? I worry not for her, she no doubt survived that fall. I worry for you."

He began to smile, nearly ear to ear. Something about it, whether it was his half visible face, that strange, thin grin, or perhaps the weight that now seemed to be pressing down on the room from all directions, gave a truly eerie vibe.

Danni sat atop Zapporo, looking down at the smashed chair. With silent, quick movements, she used her magic to gather up the broken pieces and transport them all to her tower. He would pay for that, and for many things. But mostly for the fact that he'd just called Ialo's a** bony. Only she was allowed to insult various parts of his anatomy. Well, Athena too, but that went without saying.

She was smiling as Zapporo rose up in the air, raising her back to the sixth floor. Her eyes were flashing blood red, and the demonic markings on her back glowed like a pulse, heating to a burning degree.

"Riser, can I kill him?" She asked, stepping onto the window sill. Black magic seeped off of her, filling the room, the air, suffocating.

Athena was now at the door of the office, which she had to remind herself not to call Ialo's. She stood there, contemplating whether she should enter or not. Adolf had told her not to come here, meaning something interesting was happening, but she'd heard some not-so-pleasant things that made her not want to go in.

God how he loved his new apprentice! She was as reluctant and spiteful as Ialo had been, but the bloodlust! This one held no qualms about killing, a perfect match to her master.

"Come now Danni, lets at least hear what he has to say for himself."

He looked to her and, silently to those around them, gave his answer inside her head.
'The first sign of real trouble, and you have my utmost permission to gut him like a trout.'

Danni appeared to consider Riser's words, and shrugged, sitting cross legged on the sill, though the black magic wasn't reigned back in, nor did she attempt to bring it in.

"I was listening just fine until he tossed me out the window. Not my fault he's a brainless shithead who can only spout bullshit." She said, her words a direct contrast to the easy, even friendly tone she used with Riser. But her eyes cut like daggers.

When Riser spoke in her head, she smirked a bit and replied silently 'Always liked that fish kept living even after you started slicing their skin off. They die slow...real slow.'

'Oh yes, their nervous systems are shockingly simple. I'll be willing to bet that his isn't.'

Perhaps it was her hatred for this Silas fellow, but it seemed to The Fallen that his new apprentice was finally beginning to warm up to the thought of being his apprentice. It had been many, many years since he had come across one like her, so this was only for the better, if it were true at all.

'We should copy the Mongols and pour molten steel in his every orifice.' She thought fondly, all the while smiling at Silas in a way that said there might just be fangs behind those curved lips.

In the meantime, in the now-empty clinic, Ophi was staring at himself in the mirror as he calmly washed his hands. He almost didn't recognize himself, and with good reason. In an unusually drastic move for the healer, he had turned his hair jet black. With his pale skin and deep green eyes, it was quite a striking effect, and he smirked with petty childish sadism. He wanted to make Slime uncomfortable, and this was a good way to start. In fact, he would consider it mourning.

Ophiuchus stepped back from the sink. He had changed his clothes, into floor-length dark green robes with golden trim and accents, with a Mandarin collar and full sleeves. A small green garden snake was napping peacefully in a coil around his neck.

"Perfect!" he said aloud to himself. "It was time for a personal change anyways, after so long."

Meanwhile, across the school, Alec had been sensing quite a bit of animosity coming from Ialo's office. Alec wasn't sure what was going on, but he was sure it wasn't good. So with a puff of white smoke he teleported into Ialo's office. He looked around and saw Riser standing around menacingly. No surprise there. And Danni was floating on her magic carpet looking like she was ready to kill something. Nothing strange there either. But why was the window smashed? And why was Ialo's chair gone? And why was there a strange man in a su-...

It was then that Alec finally noticed the strange man standing in the center of the office with both Riser and Dani looking at him menacingly. Whoever he was he had managed to piss Riser off, so he couldn't have been all THAT bad.

Right?

It was right as Alec teleported into the room that Silas finally lost it. Although it was difficult to lose it with the sudden wave of hatred and fear emanating from both Riser and Danni. He wasn't an expert at judging strengths, but he felt that they were a league of their own. But as it was, he had just had his plans interrupted by 4 different people, and he was not happy. Silas threw his hands up in the air in exasperation as he explained as plainly as he could so these people would leave him alone already. "Alright, that's it! Look, if it'll make you leave, I'll tell you. Those people outside the door are my economic analysts. They're here to figure out the best way to make this school turn a profit again. And I'm trying to get you people to leave because I don't like distractions when I'm working with my employees. And quite frankly, I doubt you'd be much help in trying to analyze profit margins."

"As for why I'm now Headmaster, it was determined by Judge Cerus Bellium that I was the best choice to take over this school since Ialo has been convicted guilty of over 100 different counts of a slew of horrible charges. Not the least of which was murder, espionage, and threatening nuclear war with Russia of all places. He's been sentenced to someplace akin to Limbo for life." Silas looked back at the angsty teen floating on a carpet outside his window and simply pointed his thumb at her. "And quite simply, the only reason she was thrown out the window is because she wouldn't move out of the chair. If she had moved she wouldn't have been thrown. That chair was going out the window whether she was in it or not."

Alec could barely believe his ears. His jaw was nearly on the floor as he began to question Silas flabbergasted. "...alright, look, I know Ialo is a screwup, but there's no way he committed enough crimes to warrant Limbo. That's sensory deprivation! He'll go insane by the end of the week if he hasn't already!"

Silas was not pleased with this new teacher who had decided to poke his nose into his business. "Look, I don't know who you think you are, nor do I care really, but according to these documents, hand-stamped by the High Court of Magic itself, I now own this school. It doesn't matter what you think, this is what happened. Deal with it."

Alec couldn't believe it. This a*****e had the gall to spit on Ialo's name even after he had been sentenced to a fate literally worse than death. Alec wasn't about to stand for this. He stormed up to Silas and got right up in his face about the situation. "Hey! I don't know who you think YOU are, but Ialo deserves a bit more respect than what you're giving him! He re-built this whole school from scratch! And you come in here waving some stupid papers around and think you're king of the world or something? You need to show some respect to those ar-"

And that was as far as Alec got because during his little rant one of Silas' golems had snuck up silently behind him and grabbed the teacher's cloak. With one swift motion it hurled Alec back and through the Mahogany doors to the office, sending him sailing over the crowd of number crunchers pressed up against the office doors. They all began to clap like Silas had just suck a hole in one at a golf course, and Silas appropriately waved to his 'fans'. Silas looked up at Riser and nodded his head. "That's the facts. Now please leave, I need to get this school up to speed and every second we waste is another 5 dollars lost to me." Silas then turned around and signaled to one of his golems. It silently moved behind the desk and began to meld into a new-age design chair made out of gold with platinum inlays. Truly a testament to Silas' ego. Silas sat down in the sleek new chair and settled in behind his new desk before waving his numbers crew into the office. They began to file in slowly, being extra careful not to make eye contact with either Riser or Danni.

Meanwhile Alec had landed at the bottom of the staircase after rolling down almost every step on the way down. Alec picked himself up painfully and scowled at what used to be Ialo's office. There was no way Alec was gonna let this freaking suit do this to Ialo's school. Ialo might be a screwup, but he cared about this school damnit. And they needed someone who knew about ALL the dangers pressing in on this school at the moment. Alec vowed right then and there to get this guy fired if it was the last thing he did, and to prove Ialo's innocence in the process.

"So...Let me just get this straight. Dragon Boy has been charged with no doubt several false charges that you managed to plant evidence for, you paid off a jury, and now have stuck your egotistic, narcissistic little greasy weasle a**-" She cut off, waved a hand as she stepped aside.

"-in a cheesy chair that was going out the window whether you were in it or not." She said as the chair and Silas flew, much as she had, out the window and down to the ground below. And since this chair was gold and platinum, it fell a lot faster and harder.

And it was officially later. Adolf's hex would begin at any moment to take full effect.
