The Commissar could tell by the change of the pollution in the water that he had entered the Gotham waters or rather, the ocean of the 'DC' universe as did the girl from before mentioned. That girl, she was gone too, disappeared from even the drones and sensors that the Commissar still had established. Things were odd, perhaps the good Doctor Strange returned the girl to her own dimension, much like he trapped Doomsday and the Commissar himself. No matter, the Commissar had his own dimensional rift to get him out of such a situation if it were to happen again.

The Commissar stepped onto the sands of the beach, his metallic feet sinking deep into the sands thanks to the extra weight. This machine had better been worth the trek on the ocean bottom from New York or it would be a waste of time, probably only good for spare parts. The Commissar used his spare had to remove from sea weed from his clothes, as well as a now dead jelly fish. The pollution wasn't the same from New York, but the annoying environments of the oceans were annoyingly the same.

The Commissar made his way to the rock that was the entrance to the Eastern Bloc Headquarters, Gotham Branch; the Eastern Bloc in New York was more man driven and therefore probably still active if the Commissar had time to check. The New York Eastern Bloc didn't have a sophisticated base; to avoid being found, they often moved the headquarters to avoid any tangles with heroes like Spiderman and kept their operations small. In Gotham, the operations were much vaster and involved some higher grade crimes leek technology theft and weapons development. Upon trying to activate the entrance, there was a dull hum, then nothing; the entrance wasn’t powered up yet. This was quite the predicament and the Commissar was stuck outside carrying a large machine on his shoulders and no doubt that would raise suspicion if anyone saw him. Placing the machine down, the Commissar decided he'd check up on the New York Eastern Bloc and see if he couldn't recruit that branch to begin a hostile takeover of Gotham; with any luck, things would go in the Commissar's favour.

Blood, gore, and spent ammo were everywhere, Deathstrike stood in the middle of the carnage of Albanian goons. Calmly, Yuriko collected the money and drugs that the Eastern Europeans were peddling.

The Japanese assassin condensed the money and the drugs into two briefcases. The radio behind her announced Commissar's communique. Yuriko turned her head toward the radio, "Communists.... wonderful."

Lady Deathstrike activated the Hydra teleport ring, and dissappeared from the warehouse to deliver the 'goods' to the Romanians.

[Enter Bullock, Montoya and many police officers and SWAT from Arkham Asylum]

Within minutes of their return to the city, Bullock found himself effectively leading a contigent of officers against the Comrads -- and found himself horribly outgunned. Harvey's first realized his predicament, when the police cruiser he drove had it's engine blasted by a Comrad. After sliding into an ad sign, Bullock grabbed his radio receiver, "All units! Contact left! Contact left!"

The mixture of different police vehicles peeled off to either side, officers disembarking and immediately returning fire with Commissar's forces.

Nightshade voice announced on all X-Comms, "It might work. These don't have the regenerative program of the original, but I don't know about their adaptive capabilties. They are weak to elemental attacks."

[Enter Firestar, Gator Man, and Jonah Hex]

Flying into the fray, the red tressed herione stared at the conflict below between the Commissar's forces and Gotham PD. Admist the hail of fire, Firestar also spotted Kesshou's electrical attacks on the Comrads, "I guess we really are playing 'Follow-the-Power-Beams'."

Firestar glanced down, "It look like they also have human thugs in some sort of uniforms. You guys could start there close to the police line, and I'll fry the systems of the closest Sentinels."

Firestar swooped down and dropped off Arell and Jonah just behind some cover, "Okay, you boys have fun."

With that, Angelica aimed with both arms and her shield up and launched a microwave beam shaped like a fan to just be able to hit three Comrads, while missing the regular humans.

Louis finished his cigar. "I got my car out front. Perhaps we could take refuge in Jersey." he said, getting up and putting his jacket on. The other two slowly getting up.
