Valin nodded with a smile, "No offense taken. The saying 'A disturbance in the Force' is, however, not entirely correct. That saying is generally used when... mass amounts of life are extingished. Generally in a short time or at once. I remember during the Yuuzhan Vong War when the Corellians fired the Centerpoint Station's hyperspace beam."

"They timed it all wrong... they hit the Hapan's fleet and half of the Vong's. Two thirds of the Hapan naval forces there were destroyed. ... To feel hundreds of thousands of life die at once - it was horrible to say the least."

Valin was silent for a moment, "It's hard to put the past behind me. That was... was a bloody war..."

"Progress is always good," he answered nodding, wrapping his arm around Ichi's shoulder and drawing her in closer, leaning his head on hers. "If you need any help with any other areas, let me know. I guarantee I'll hear you," he said with a laugh.

His expression became grave as his attention was drawn back to Valin. "Sounds horrible indeed. I've enver liked the concepts of war and military personally. Too much about them I don't know I suppose, or merely don't agree with. Such weapons should never have needed to be designed."

Jade smiled back at Keno, nodding her thanks to his offer of assitance. But for now, she was content to deal with somethings on her own. As far as she knew, even Deity didn't quite know what was going on yet.

Then her attention was turned to the Jedi next to her, falling into silence as he related his tale. She could almost relate to what he spoke of, though on a much smaller and personal scale.

"Many people have troubles with their past it seems..." She spoke softly.

"War has a way of leaving heavy impressions on you," Valin said quitely. It hurt to think about the war. He had lost someone he loved dearly. This had drove him to do actions... actions he hated to think about.

Oh how far one can fall...

The Force seemed to also say to him: It is such a quiet thing, to fall... But far more terrible is to admit it.

It sounded like an ancient voice of an old woman - who was both Light, Dark, and something in between...

Keno sighed contentedly as he heard Ichi's breath getting heavier. She must have been tired. Probably the alcohol. "Death in general leaves a sour taste in the mouths of all survivors involved. That's what I've come to learn."

Another sigh, this time for remorse. People died, and killed all the time. Reasons were irrelevant. Not even he quite understood the drive.

Jade looked over at Ichi slightly, leaning forawrds a little. Girl seemed to be tired, but she looked so cute when she slept. It seemed all of them now were reflecting on darker times, something they probably would rather forget.

Now now, if it wasn't for me, you'd have never come to this backwater planet and met these people you care for so much...

Jade stiffened slightly, before relaxing again and closing her green eyes for a moment, lightly rubbing her temple with her right hand.
