Rising out of her very Shadow he rested his hands roughly on her shoulders. Taking a moment to speak, he let his anger stew before opening his mouth to speak.
"You do realize I am saving your a** now..."
Turning his gaze to the crackling flames in the distance he squeezed roughly on her shoulders
"Your little adventure out there could have cost you your current lifestyle. Hopefully that stupid little guild you call your own hasn't gotten wind of what occured here. I surmise you are reverting to your old ways. They won't look too kindly on such things. It was hard enough dealing with the whole rehabilitation program you call a life."
Releasing her he strode down the path, his bushy tail grazing the ground lightly as we walked.
"The corpse flame only consumes once living tissue. Hopefully you will have to only deal with these ramifications you have placed upon yourself."
Making note of Unks appearence behind them his expression darkened.
"I've spoken too soon..."
Pushing past Unks he headed inside.

"How do I get out of here? Something is going on out there and I can't stray away from it. I don't want to get involved. I don't want to get involved! Erragh!" She stormed off irritably to the lounge, having not noticed Kendo enter. There were sofas abundant in there. She would just stay in there until the opportunity to leave presented itself.

Looking towards Unks she crossed her fingers hoping he couldn't put two and two together. Biting her lower lip she said nothing and stared out at the burning flames in the distance.
"Don't ask love...I'd rather not say."
Closing her eyes she hugged her knees in silence

::Not catching anything Kendo said cause he was speaking. Unks looked as he pushed past him and went inside. He then looked at Epithany with a strange look of confusion. He didn't know what the hell was going on, and frankly if it bothered his wife he didn't want too. He smiled at her and followed after Kendo::
"If you say so love then I won't worry about it."

Moving with measured steps he made his way into the empty corridor of the Orion, ignoring the footsteps of Unks behind him. He had not mean't for Unks to see all that, but he supposed that what occured would have to be a hurdle they stepped over together. Having spied wisps of red disappear into the lounge area he followed.
"Hmmmph after you left in such a huff the other night, I'm surprised you would still return. Then again you had your reasons then and I doubt they would have changed in such a short time."
Slumping into a nearby recliner he grinned at the Kitsune maiden.
"I don't suppose you have gotten any closer to your intended quarry? No of course not. You woudn't be here would you?"

"Indeed I would not," she answered Kendo calmly, dispelling her irritation. "If I didn't know any better, I would say that KenoTao was intetionally keeping out of my reach. I can't think of a reason though. I hate to admit it but he beat me all the other times. Easily..."
She sighed thinking about it. She probably wasn't ready to take him on yet. Why he hadn't, and wouldn't simply kill her didn't make much sense to her however. "I'm sorry if my departure seemed a bit negative, I simply thought it best not to reveal too much about myself that evening. I think the cat's out now though."

Gazing out into the distance she watched many of the flames already beginning to die out. Kendo had made a point about what she had done. If it was that easy for him to decipher her actions, it would have been a cakewalk for the guild to have recognized the carnage as hers. Groaning she slumped onto her back staring up at the passing clouds.

: razz lacing his middle and index fingers on his forehead he used the instantanious movement and was in his room on the ninth floor. He looked at Kade sleeping on the bed with Koji the black kitten, and he smiled. He moved over to his dresser and opened the top drawer.
He pulled out the device he needed to finished and went back to the bar. He sat on the center stool once more and picked up his tools and began working::
"I will get this finished and make sure it works how it is ment too."

Nodding he smiled.
"Well you woudn't be the first that wanted another person dead. Ironically from what I can tell the Orion houses a number of such feuds. The owner and his brother Tailman are at odds. Keno has another person wishing for his demise I have heard. As you can see such things are are far and between. You leaving as you did, comes with the territory. So no harm done."
Rising from his seat he strode her way pausing a short distance away from her.
"Truthfully I believe Keno feels incredibly remoreseful for what he did to your family, but he doesn't wish to throw his life or yours for that matter away. I surmise that he avoids you in order to deal you more harm. Grief drove him to insanity albeit via poessession but its all the same. I believe he sees a similar demon growing in you."

"That thought is a bit laughable, though not improbable I suppose. I don't know his personality at all, but I would surmise he is up to something. I wouldn't put it beneath him to have some sort of scheme." She was a bit insulted at Kendo's statement, but she knew he meant it only out of concern. He was perhaps doing his best to analyze what he could of the situation.
"I could care very little for his remorse. He should not avoid this. I'm aware that I could be putting myself in his shoes, should I succeed, but I'm willing to accept that. Willing to fight for my right to live rather than hide."

Sensing the effect of his words on her he smiled
"Your right to live? Truthfully can you call what you are doing much of a life? Living one day to the next with one wish is barely living at all. Since the time he inflicted such a dire wound upon you, Keno has once again achieved something to fight for. Prior to this moment you he may have been difficult, but now he is probably near impossible for you."
Turning his back to her he gazed toward the entrance he sighed.
"You will need more than the strength afforded by vengence to defeat one such as that."

"Is that right?" Slowly her mind absorbed the words Kendo spoke. Some she agreed with, others she didn't. Particulalry the comment about her life. Then again, lving and having a life were two different things. Days were rather dull, she mostly stared at walls, which surprisingly entertained her for hours at a time, not even the faintest hint of boredom or depression. Did that mean she didn't have a life bcause the most animated events were those focused on her getting to KenoTao?
"Doesn't matter to me too much. If you're right, then I'll just have to have my own reason to fight. A better one. Listen to me. That was the most foolish thing I've ever heard. A better reason to live..." she scoffed at her own words.
"Nothing is impossible. Even when fighting fair, everyone has a weakness. I'll find his eventually." Or maybe I should work on my own first.

Grinning broadly sat back down in his seat.
"Listen to yourself you know its true, but in turn you must train and find your reason before you throw your life away. Unless what you have now is what you want from your existence. If such is so. I shall leave you be."
Blinking at his own words he realized he was being pushy for a reason he couldn't quite put his finger on.

She sighed deeply as she gazed at Kendo curiously. Why would he be so willing to advise? For all she knew he could be up to something as well. One thing she knew well about her kind was that kitsune were clever and could fool some of the most sharpest of minds with ease. However, something told her that really wasn't the reason he was here.
"I can't quite say I trust your words. Therefore I can't quite say I believe them either. Nonetheless, they seem to have some value. Training is obvious. I wonder to myself why I haven't taken full advantage of this area yet." I'll be sure to get on top of that soon.
Her eyes became cold again, her mind still open. One thing she was aware of about this place was that a lot of people were able to sneak into others' minds. That all of a sudden came to mind. "By the way...keep out or I'll have you listed as well."
