::watching as his water moved closer to red and then got frozen. His eyes went wide he never saw anything like that. He used his mind and brought his water back too him. He heard what Pith said and he nodded to her::
"Yeah it has, but the one thing in the room is something I really gotta make sure it is top condition before I test it. If it isn't to put it bluntly we are all screwed. ."

Reaching over to pat Red's hand she smiled.
"No worries. Our troubles effect us all in different ways. But I suppose its best to try to make the most of a given situation. Reluctance to do as such will many times lead us down paths we would prefer not to tread.
Shaking her head once again at her words she groaned.
"I must be coming across like a fortune cookie. I suppose such talk comes from my mentor or something or other."

A bit off guard, her hand quickly retreated. She gazed at her palm as if she had never seen it before, examing every inch of it like new cloth. "I'm sorry. I guess I'm a bit more upset than I thought." I've never done that before...
She smiled again, nervous, but sure of herself. "I enjoy your proverbs. They would not have come about in this world if they served no purpose. Or at least they wouldn't have lasted very long. Giving advice is like sharing wisdom. Only the unselfish are capable of such kindness."
She gazed at Unks for a moment, curious about what he was talking about despite her efforts. What exactly was he up to?

Spying Red's reluctance to be touched she cringed, hoping to not have offended her. Shrugging she smile returning her attention to Unks.
"What exactly are you building love? Are you sure its wise to send Kade up there alone while you have something that's supposedly bad enough to be fearful of."
Frowning she ran her hand through her hair, shaking her head.
"I suppose I should let use my alchemy lab for such things. "

"No it is ok for him to be up there. It won't work on him. . At least I hope it won't."
::The thought of using a lab did sound good, but he hasn't seen her for a long time and wasn't gonna retreat and hide in a lab until his work was finished that would just be stupid. He brought himself back and smiled at her::

"Kade. That's your son's name right?" she asked enthusiastically. "So you two have been married for a few years now then? How do you juggle the life of a spouse and the individual lives you had beforehand? It seems to mean you two come from different venues of life."
Unks was rejoining the conversation now and it had only then occurred to her that he mentioned not seeing his wife for quite some time. "I'm not intruding am I?"

Shaking her head she smiled.
"Don't worry your not intruding on anything. Truth is, Unks and I are still kind of newly weds. We've only been married for a few months now. Our two hectic schedules seems to have led to the portions of time where we don't see each other. I suppose its more or so my fault. I'm kind of a workaholic and I'm always off attending to my mage's guild."
Hugging Unk's arm she smiled.
"I don't know how he puts up with me. But I suppose someone had to."

::Laughing lightly with his wife he looked at Red and nodded with what Epithany was saying. It was true they were both busy lately, but that is something that can't be helped.
"Yeah we are newlyweds, and Kade is my child from a past relationship that didn't work out. He has a twin sister named Neska too."
Unks hugged Epithany back and kissed her cheek lightly, He lifted her up and pulled her over to sit on his lap where he wrapped his arms around her::

"Of course. For all our faults, there is at least one person somewhere in the world who can endure them all. The two of you have found each other. Congratulations." She smiled softly, admiring the love of the couple, but moreso their independence. They behaved much the same way she would have believe best friends were supposed to have.
"So are you going to show us this...thing you're referring to Unks?"

::Thinking of what she asked him he thought to his invention up in his room. A grim look came across his face. Red didn't know about his otherself, and that was the point of this new device, to expell it from his body and contain it. So if anything goes wrong and his otherself is free. He can't be replaced inside his body again and be free to cause chaos anywhere he wanted::

"Okay..." she was a bit perplexed. Usually inner demons were mental manifestations that haunted an individual for one thing or another. Why would he need a device? Why not merely come to terms with his past and let it be? She decided to leave it be for now.
"Oh. I forgot to melt the water!" The ice that was still glistening in the water bottle slowly trickled back into its liquid form, not a drop being spilt on the counter top.

This is getting a bit awkward. "If you two'll excuse me, I think I'll go explore this place a bit more." She wasn't sure if she would return to the main room or not. Eventually she would have to if she intended to leave, but the two seemed to have struck on a topic she didn't need to be involved in. She shifted from her seat and headed for a corridor across the room. She looked to either side and deicded to exlpore where the left side would take her.
