"I won't argue that," she said in the same hollow tone. "In fact I'm sure you're right, but I'm not here to make family." She didn't know what she wanted however. She had already tried making amends with the others in the club for that night, but she was intentionally keeping herself cold to him. It was just as awkward as repairing things it seemed.
"I'm here to get what I want and then I'll be gone. I'll use whoever and whatever here as I see fit. Therefore, my relationship with others and the way they see me doesn't really matter that much."

::Chuckling slightly Unks shook his head as he heard what she said. One person popped into his head when she said that, and that person was Caine. He went back to work and finished his project, all that was left was too test it.
"You should a lot like Caine, if you haven't met him I am sure you will. If you'll excuse me I need to test out my new toy."
Picking up the back glove and taking the brown earth chip out, he replaced it with the new blue one. Putting the glove on and standing up he began to charge Ki to his fingers on his right hand which is where the glove was, soon his hand glew blue.
"Now lets see if this will work."
Bending over he let his ki release slightly and moved his hand from his feet and moving up his leg and to his waist. Soon his legs and waist were made completely of ice. Still moving his hand up over his torso and to the tip of his hair it soon became ice as well::
"Alright it works. .I can now control Ice, like I can Earth."

She grunted indifferently at his achievement, unsure of what to make of it. To her, it seemed like all her did was generate ice, not control it. Still a valuable ability to have, and apparently he could control erath material as well. All thanks to those chips. He was an inventor it appered, but his aura said more than that. She sighed, wondering why it is this place thrived with fighters. They certianly didn't behave as such. At least not as far as she could see. The place was more of a community. The fighters must be involved elsewhere and come here to relax.

::Turning his ice covered body Unks looked at the girl and a smiled appeared on the icy face. Unks kicked his energy up and the ice cracked and fell off of Unks' body. His energy died down once more and he took the glove off and threw it to the bartop. He sat back down and smiled at her statement::
"You see I am genius I can invent anything it runs in my blood. As you saw this blue chip controls Ice, and his brown one controls earth. But only when I use my Ki they work. So if I wanted I can make one of my ki blasts icy, or rocky."

I see. "Well progress is progress." She turned her attention back to the wall, letting it do whatever it did to entertain her.
He manipulates his primary for of energy so that it acts as another form, allowing him to control elements. An ingenius tactic, I must admit.

The light ding of the elevator marked her entrance into the Orion. Having cast an mana dispersion field about herself to shroud her presence. Shedding the field as the doors opened she paused gazing about the main corridor of the Orion.
Brushing aside some the scarlet strands that hung before her eyes she sighed inwardly. She had let herself get much too carried away. The results had been considerably more graphic than she would have wished. Hugging her shoulders she took a deep breath stepping further into the room, spying Unks and a woman she had yet to have met conversing in the distance.
"Hmmm..."
Quickening her pace she made her way towards a bar stool a seat away from her husband.
"Wow a new face...Welcome to the Orion."
Giving no explanation for her extended absence she smiled at Unks.
"Heh...long time no see right?"

::Hearing his wife's voice his ears perked up and a large grin appeared on his face. He turned to face her in his stool as soon as she sat down he was pretty much glomping her. He brought her into a tight embrace and kissed her lips softly. He pulled away and sat down back in his stool::
"Damn right it's been too long. I am sure you have your reasons so I won't ask."

Red merely bowed, more like a tipping of her head, as she assumed Epithany addressed her. She assumed from the way that Unks interacted with her that this woman was his wife. She grinned with a bowed head as he returned herself to the wall. Chances were the wife of a man she was so disagreeable with would have nothing to say to her. Furthermore it appeared they hadn't been together in a while.

::The doors to Club Orion opened slowly and the head of Kade peeked in. He could feel three energy signals, one being his father, the other his step mother, and the third he didn't know. His face was a bit pale and somewhat frieghtened. He moved into the club slowly and made his way to where everyone was.
He walked up to Unks and tugged on his shirt. Kade was wearing his orange Karate Gi top, and a matalic colored pair of jeans. He looked up at his father and then too his step mother::
"Daddy, the smell of blood is in the forest and it is all red everywhere. .Did something happen? Are you and mommy ok?"

Stroking his cheek as he pulled away from her, she smiled.
"I was away doing a little impromtu work for my guild. I won't bore you with the details. Somethings just aren't worth talking about it."
Leaning against the counter she looked towards the Red haired woman across the way. Making note of the ears and her facial structure she grinned.
"Ah you must be of Kitsune kin. Such features are rare though I know of at least one other who frequents these parts,"
Drawing a series of runes on the counter the top, a blue portal sprung into existence at her touch. Retrieveing a bottle of water from the sphere, she twisted off the cap.

"Why yes," Red said in a half shout abruptly, surprised to be addressed. She looked about, calming herself as she re-evaluated her actions. "Uhm..my name is Red. I've already met your husband. He's spoken fondly of you before. I fear I didn't catch your..."
She paused at the sound of a young boy, who seemed to be Unk's son. The smell of blood in the forest. She ignored such things, assuming the scent was probably none other than her own brothers'. Apparently the forest was a popular slaughtering spot. "...name."

::looking down at his son with a look of confusion on his face and trying to take in everything the boy was saying. Unks placed his hands on Kade's shoulders and looked from Kade to Epithany and shurgged his shoulders. He looked down at his young son once more::
"Kade slow down and tell me what is wrong. Your not making any sense."

::Kade took a deep breath as he looked into his fathers eyes with his duel colored ones. He blinked a few times and climbed into Unks's lap. He hugged his father closely as he spoke::
"Well I was walking in the forest to get here, and at one spot, it was all bloody and my nose was burning from the smell. It as scary Daddy."

"Don't worry Kade your safe now with me, Pith, and Red here. Along with everyone else in the club. I think you should go on and rest upstairs. Koji misses you, go on."
::Unks placed his son on the ground and patted his butt slightly to get him to move torwards the elevator. He looked at his son one more time and smiled before turning his gaze to his wife and then to Red. He turned and faced forward in his stool::
"That is odd. .I wonder what happened. .I'm sure someone would of felt and energy levels of a battle. . ."

Growing silent at the boys words she frowned. Thinking what had happened the night before she shivered.
"The forest seems to be getting more and more dangerous everyday...'
Looking toward Red, she force a smile.
"Pleased to make your acquaintance Red. Its seems you have come during dark times, but I suppose we can't hope to escape the evils of this world during our life times."
Tipping her water to her lips she ruffled her son's hair in concern.
