Immature Excuse

PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 7:27 pm

Dymetri choked back a nervous laugh and replaced it with a confident smile.

He couldn't find a reason why he was acting differently. If it were earlier in the year, he'd be all over her. Tasting her, surprising her, everything would be in his control. What was different?

He cared about her, he realized as he looked into her beautiful eyes. It wasn't just airy sentences and sweet nothings, it wasn't just to charm a girl or see how far he could go. It's taken so many years, but this was the moment where Dymetri found the meaning of love. This was the first time he'd made love to someone.

"It makes sense, Lin," he said simply. He lifted a hand to smooth out her hair, continuing what they started. He lowered his head down so his cheek was against hers, so she could hang on to him. His breathing was fast, and his body reacted naturally, his mind recording every detail of the moment. He didn't realize, nor did he care, how long it continued for.

{{Aww! I love your post!}}

Lin gasped and arched her back in reflex when she felt something brush against her leg. She finally looked down. Why not? She wanted to become intimate with Dymetri, and she loved to learn, so she should learn all she could about becoming physical with someone.

She gasped when she saw what brushed against her leg. Sure, as a healer, she knew about physical anatomy, but that looked nothing like what had been in the pictures! It was too big and... well, it looked completely different! Not in a bad way, but still different.

"What... What is that? I mean, I know what it is, I th--think. But if that is... is what is used for... for procreation from a male's role... I am.. nervous. It is quite large..."

((Oh my god, I need to recover myself from reading that. Wait, didn't the sex start already? It ended though.. right?))
PostPosted: Tue Aug 10, 2010 10:33 pm

{{LOL! I'm glad you thought it was funny! biggrin That's what I was going for. And no, I didn't think the sex started already. I was thinking they were still doing foreplay. You know, getting ready. I wasn't planning on doing the actual sex scene part. Is that ok? I'm thinking this is just leading up to it b/c I had wanted Lin to say some things and ask questions, an example being what she just asked. XD}}

((Hey all. I just got back from my long 2 week trip. And as much as i'd like to go into extreme detail about how ialo may (or may not) have committed all these crimes, i'm just too tired and i think the story needs to move on. So, onwards we go!))

It was quite an elaborate presentation really. Since Judge Bellium had denied to change Ialo back Silas was allowed to present his prosecution uninterrupted. Silas had obviously been practicing for this, using literally dozens of power point slides and over 100 pieces of evidence to help build Ialo's reputation as a cold, calculating, renegade, genocidal maniac. Silas had managed to find at least one piece of evidence that incriminated Ialo for each and every single charge that was presented against him. It didn't really matter that half of the evidence was fabricated, all that mattered was that it was legally legitimate. Silas wrapped up his presentation with a pair of detonators that were horribly singed and were making a Geiger counter chirp like a robin in spring. They apparently had been remote detonators for a nuclear launch that Ialo had used to test his new weapons off the coast of Russia. Silas set the detonators back on the exceedingly long evidence bench next to a close-up picture of fingerprints found on the handles, which happened to be an exact match to Ialo's. Silas looked up at Judge Bellium and simply bowed to the floating brain, signifying he was done. Cerus was beyond impressed, not only with the evidence but the picture he now had of Ialo. Sharply and painfully he transformed Ialo back into his half-human self and seemed to speak telepathically to the defense bench though clenched... teeth? "I highly doubt this.... but does the defense have ANY evidence that might project Mr. Enlil here as anything other than a danger to humanity in it's entirety?"

Ialo has listened through the proceedings without so much as a croak. He was completely and utterly shocked with every thing Silas came up with. None of it - well, okay, maybe the parking ticket part was true - but for the most part, none of it was true. He would never have done anything to start a war, not intentionally! The Fountain, those were... special circumstances.

As he was turned back from a frog, he carefully stared straight ahead, his lips pursed and his eyes blank and hopeless. Was that jackass happy now?

Mrs. Enlil sighed, her face buried in her arms. Tch, she wasn't crying though. She was trying very very very very hard not to leap up and throttle Lyme where he sat. Oh, she would get him after this... She would. And she would call in the cavalry.

Because damn it all, she had nothing to prove her son's innocence.

Ialo cleared his throat and spoke up, his voice shaking a little bit. "Your Honor, if I may speak..." He carefully turned his head and looked up at the judge. "If you incarcerate me, you will leave Mystic Fountain High School without a Headmaster. One of the most important aspects of education is the relationship between a teacher and a student. If you take me away, you are going to leave hundreds of students without a Headmaster, and disrupt their education on a deeply psychological level." He signed. He really did adore the students, however troublesome they were. And, most of the teachers didn't seem to mind having a boss younger than themselves. In fact, over the past several months, Ialo had gotten several great pointers in administration and education from the veteran teachers. He could only hope that Ophiuchus would keep the place intact.

"Furthermore, I do not doubt that you know the history of that school." Ialo blinked. How the hell was he going to phrase this? It was information to be handled carefully, not to be shouted out in a room full of strangers, especially not Silas. "I trust that you know the name Rotatsu Setsuka, and I'm quite positive that a well-informed entity such as the High Court of Magic can recognize a threat when it sees one. I hate to irritate you with guessing games, but suppose you leave the school without a leader, a leader who went to the school himself, funded the renovation of the school, knows all the nooks and crannies of the school, and knows how to get to places within the school that aren't necessarily connected by doors and walls?"

"The company, however," he added quickly, as a second thought. "Will be fine. I'm sure my father will have a ball being back in business."
Take that, Slime.

The Judge was not convinced however. He had seen this act before, and the evidence was more than enough to convict Ialo. Cerus' aura flared out angrily at Ialo's attempt to guilt trip him in his own court. "I assure you that Mystic Fountain will be well taken care of Mr. Enlil." Bellium looked down at Silas and made a set of documents appear in his hands. "Mr. Lyme, it's apparent that you have the best of intentions for not only yourself but others as well, and you certainly know how to handle a business. Therefore you are to be the new owner and Headmaster of Mystic Fountain High School." Cerus now turned his attention to Ialo and his defense attorney. "As for you, Mr. Enlil, you strike me as a manipulative and highly dangerous individual. I hereby sentence you to a life sentence in the High Court's maximum security prison dimension. You will never again see the sun, feel the wind on your skin, hear the sounds of nature, sleep in a bed, nor taste food or drink. Limbo will seem like a vacation to you. So let it be!" And with that, the Judge banged his gavel on the bench with a wooden clack that resounded throughout the court chambers definitively. In the next few seconds Ialo would be unceremoniously teleported away to his holding dimension, a black abyss utterly devoid of any kind of sensory stigma. Ialo would be kept in a state of limbo, unable to eat, unable to breath, unable to feel, simply able to think. A lifetime with his own thoughts. Hell may have been easier on the poor dragon.

As for Silas, he simply bowed to Judge Bellium respectively and left with Isaac and the deeds to the school. His face was solemn, but just as he was about to leave the courtroom, a small, evil little smirk crawled up his face.

He had won.

Ialo's eye twitched. How the hell... How the hell did Slime-face get to run the school? He knew nothing! He wouldn't last a day!

.... Oddly, that thought was satisfying. But still, it was just a tiny algae on a sea of despair. Life in prison, with complete sensory deprivation... The schocklets buzzed angrily again, with nothing but absolute wrath and self-pity. He could even bring himself to look up at his mother.

Elaine gaped at the judge. <******** b*****d!" she cried out. "You seriously believe this s**t? You honestly think Ialo is guilty of all of that?! I don't give a damn if it's all legally sound, the legal system is piece of s**t!" She stood up, and looked at her son. Her favorite, eldest son, even if he was far too kind and trusting for his own good. "Just sit tight," she told him before he vanished, "And I will turn this all around." She stuck her leg out then, hooking her foot around Silas's ankles as the b*****d walked by, and tripped him. Slightly satisfying, but she wouldn't rest till she was bathing in his blood and tears.

It was a childish last minute move, but it worked. Silas hit the floor face first, but luckily managed to hold on to the deed to the school. Silas picked himself up off the floor carefully before turning around to face Mrs. Enlil. "A meaningless gesture my dear. I still hold the deed, and your son is where he rightfully belongs. Such as it is, I have nothing more to say to you. Adieu." And with that Silas bowed slightly to Elaine before leaving the courtroom for good. His limo was waiting outside, with a fresh bottle of fine wine and a particularly ravishing young lady he had hired from the agency.

Elaine just scowled and cracked her knuckles. "I see," she said as Silas left. And after he was gone, she picked up her things and walked alone to the exit. "Настало время , чтобы напомнить вам, кто вы имеете дело с."

Meanwhile, recharged and refreshed and, because the little quareen was down for a nap, alone, Danni stode towards Ialo's office, intent on giving him a piece of her mind.

So when she walked in and found the office empty, she stopped, scowled, and turned towards the door again before she stopped. Instead of leaving, she slammed the door, then walked over and made herself comfortable in his chair.

She'd just wait for him to get back. However long it took. He had some explaining to do.

It was a few minutes later that Adolf entered that very office. Somehow, it did not surprise him to see Danni in Ialo's chair--it was something Athena would do, and while he was certain that Danni had different reasoning, he'd found that the two acted similarly quite often. Instead, he simply nodded and said, "Hello," before heading to Ialo's bookshelf.

After all, unlike most people in this school, Adolf was actually doing what he'd been asked to do: find out as much information about the Relic and Setsuka Rotatsu as possible. Mentally, he berated himself: he was still in the Asian habit of placing last names first, and he must remember to say out loud Rotatsu Setsuka in place of Setsuka Rotatsu. It was one of the few things he'd never fully relieved himself of.

Danni glanced over when Adolf walked in, twirling absently in Ialo's chair.

"Hey. You seen the head dragon around?" She asked, watching him peruse through the books.

Adolf thought for a moment as he pulled a book from the shelf to look through. "No," he finally said, "I have not. It has been some time since I have seen him, to be certain. Are you searching for him?"

This book would be useless: while it spoke of the founding of the school, it was only for a paragraph, and it was very vague. The most notable part was the date of the first brick-laying. Perhaps another would show more promise.

"Well...hunting would be a better word...Maybe tracking...lying in wait? Well, take your pick. It's one of those." She said, shrugging.
