"To not get my all would be a betrayl to myself and my ideals," User commented. User would have preferred this to be a farther along match than it was - sadly it was not and such things happened.
There would be another time to finally kill KenoTao. It just wasn't going to be this fight - should they even fight.
"I will push myself as far as I need to go," User replied. He would become as powerful as he would have to be. He would push himself to the limit and beyond if he had to.
He wondered if there was really a limit to their potential.
"I sorely hate to admit, but we are near equals KenoTao. How you manage to push your weak, fragile human body to Saiya-jin training levels is beyond my comprehension."
User paused for a long moment.
"What will be the true deciding factor? A single error? Or is it what we fight for?"

"Do what you need. I'll respond accordingly," Keno said as if unwilling to remove himself from the fight. "As far as what I do and how I do it, you should be aware of two things. First of all, I'm clearly no ordinary human. Second of all, humans are not bound by limits in terms of numbers. We have the potential to exceed the normal standards of our very bodies should we will it."
The pause that ensued was used for Keno to make that statement, having received another statement from User shortly after. "The deciding factor? That all depends on how long you intend to try and kill me. You will either succeed, get over it, or fail and try again. As for what we fight for...pride usually shouldn't be the goal. It clouds your thought."

The Prince Warrior stayed silent for a long time. But he finally spoke, "If I said..." He stopped as if it was a struggle to get these words out, "If I said I fought for my daughter... would I be any less of a part of my people and their thoughts, their ways?"
User paused for another long moment, thinking over his words.
"Am I any less of a Saiya-jin?" User asked again.
He felt so... far away. Far away from things he known as normal. Earth - though so small - seemed bigger than anything else the universe had ever had to offer him thus far.
"I have changed..."

"If you really want my opinion, then you'd let go of such foolish notions of what it means to be Saiya-jin, human, or anything else. Humanity is but a term that happens to have the word 'human.' If you try to detach humans from Saiya-jins by ideal, you'll realize that Saiya-jins share ideals of certain humans, or vice versa. But so do kitsune, feline and cannine breeds, vampires, etc. The only thing that separates us is blood. You can't become less Saiya-jin, nor more human. It's imposible at the point of birth. To change is to live...nothing more."
Keno's dispoition demanded a short silence thereafter. The words probably needed to sink in. Meanwhile he was running through his mind looking for what may have initiated such thoughts in the mind of User. It appeared that the values of the Saiya-jin were deeply embedded. That was understandable. Nonetheless, such a conflict with one's ideals was likely to be a bit destructive.
