The catulecules stopped suddenly.
Was it over?
Like The Abyss of Depthspace it was.
As they stopped, they all aimed at one focal point: Captain Tailos' braincase. Their lazers, inherited from the General, fired in a horrifically calculized instant.

"Prepare for demorphtification!"Axel said, as he fired his weapon. It hit her like a climactic gotta-save-the-world epiphany. Screaming, she was zappingly demorphtified back to her unMG state. "Perfect! You'll be captured in this episode, just as I planned!" Axel got his bag ready after the girl was done being demorptified, for demorptifications were truly beautiful sights. "Are you ready to give in yet?" She shook her head, panting. "Never, fiend!" "Then prepare for more dramatic and unneeded fighting! It's time I go all out for no reason on someone weaker than me other than that it's thrilling!" A Magical Boy transformation sequence was in order for Axel. Jasper staggered to her feet, intending to retransform, but the zappifigration of the demorptification had sapped her strength and she passed out, collapsing dramatically.

A sidestep neatly avoided the brainlazerin'. But there were still nine thousand of them! There was no chance to survive, so Tailos made his time -- by running away, Dirk in hand, back towards the bridge and Jasper.

The catulecules continued to maintain a stationary position on the bridge. However, they seemed to be doing something: between them Van der Waanser forces were beginning to pull catulecules closer together, until a visible shape was taken.
The General Derelict returned, but slightly different this time. He bore a shield, marked with the Eternal >:3
The General Derelict wielded the Shield of Forelions, the second-most-terrifying weapon in all Depthspace, next to the Dirk itself. His new Magical abilities flowing through his virtuacirculation, he tossed the shield after Captain Tailos. The shield roared as it spun.

Ah well, It won't make a difference." Axl felt triumphant, for he heard what sounded like trump- no, wait, that's footsteps. "Captain Tailos?"

"JESUS CHRIST!" the Captain screamed, running as fast as he could to escape the homing velocitify of the >:3 Shield. The merge of the catulecules was unimportant -- reporting to the Federation for scientification studies could wait until after he was assured survival -- but instead, the roaring became first-priority.
He dodged, dipped, ducked, dived and dodged again as the Shield kept up the relentless stabulating, all on the way to the bridge.
And several harried escapes, four minor woundicuts, and an overall health points score of 8 remaining, the Captain flew through the iris door. He slammed his palm on the forceclose button, trapping the Shield outside for enough time to gather breath.
But Riddle wasn't there. There were no cars for her to escape into, either.

FADE IN TO CHEESY INTRO THEME
((An embarassingly peppy pop tune plays, while the crew of the Soulbounty jumps onscreen one by one, illuminated by psychotic flashing lights that are probably causing epilepsy in half of the viewers. The cast float around in cool poses for a while, vaguely in time with the song.))
FADE TO NEXT EPISODE
The camera pans slowly down yet another hallway of the Soulbounty. Hallways are really everywhere on this ship, aren't they?
Anyway, the camera focuses on a partially ajar steel door-module. The room inside is pitch black. Suddenly, the area is lit by a diffuse teal glow.
Magical Girl Dybael is sitting cross-legged in her quarters, floating slightly above the ground. Her eyes are closed, and she appears to be either meditating or comatose. Actually, it's both.
Dybael's serene brow furrows slightly.
I will master this technique.
For their sake.
And with that cryptic mental-voiceover, the episode FADES BACK TO THE NORMAL ACTION.

Frowning, the General Derelict retrieved the Shield, which was banging uselessly against the iris door. "Goddamned thing can't even cut through irishields!" the General shouted.
Wait, shouted?
The use of normal dialogue tags led him to wonder about the condition of his health. It wasn't until he touched his face that he realized he had actual neurones.
"Oh dear Loralisk," the General murmured. <********> Murmured. "AXLESIUS! KOWATZITZ! RETREAT TO THE ROXCORES AT ONCE!"

Latkes floated in, wearing a boat. She was holding a large brown paper bag filled with delicious apple pastries. She was planning to sell them from door to door to raise money for the Intergalactic Widows and Orphans Charity.

Fleeing in fury, the possibly humanified General found his roxcore at least as intact as it could be after being scraped slightly by a 9,000 hectare-wide lazer. He really needed to fix what unit that lazer fired in, but the fact that he had flesifers was more pressing than how much matter he could inciporize.
As the roxcore began to drill its way out of the hole, the General shouted, "TEAM ANDRO-TOBOR IS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!"

Axl heard his orders from Sui and retreated back to the ship with the Magical girl in arm.
"Great Suienheimer, what's wro-
Oh dear Moto-Tobor of Chrystomlis!
What happened to your perfect form?"
Which would be replied later, as Derelict seemed quite worried currently.
Axel went to the interrogation room and dropped Jasper in, and locked the door. Then he took pictures with the security camera for no other reason other than humiliation is a good torture.

Jasper opened her eyes and blinked. Had she gone blind? She tried to feel her eyes but couldn't move. Was she dead?
((Hint: She's tied up with a blindfold. Whether she's bound standing up or lying down is up to you.))
